THE ONE-STOP SAAKSHI SIVA (ACD) TALKSHOP

I will start by copying a post of mine in April under the "2nd discussion of the week" thread, where the question posed was: what outfits would suit ACD (and Priya).

When lounging at home:

(1) Bermudas or cargo shorts and colarless Tees. (2) Cotton kurtas in solid colours (dark blue, for instance) with white, black or blue jeans.

Casual occasions:

(1) Black leather jacket, black polo shirt, black or dark blue jeans. (2) Coloured Tees and stone-washed jeans (3) Denim shirts (not stuffed in) and jeans. (3) Sports jackets, collarless Tees, jeans. (4) Cargo shorts and Tees (tucked in). (5) W & W (sports attire when next on the badminton court). Please keep to the same length of shorts as on that April 11 episode. Btw, he looked so stunning in that black shirt (over khaki pants) he wore at the funeral.

Preferred shirt designs: solids are best; pin-stripes, checks are fine but no other designs please. An exception is a Hawaiian shirt worn over white cargo shorts.

Formal occasions:

(1) Sherwani in black raw silk (the types that Hariharan wears); (2) Sherwani in white raw silk; (3) Business suit; (4) Black tie (complete with vest and cummerbund; the kind that Pierce Brosnan wore in his 007 role).

Accessories: those dark glasses an absolute must. But I hope he gets a better pair; I don't like the shape of those he wears; they look a little feminine. Oakleys, Dunhill and even the Police brand do carry some nice ones. The Shahrukh avatar that Patraj uses has a nice pair of dark sunglasses

Well-crafted leather shoes in black or brown would be nice. Moccasins for casual occasions.

Saakshi siva is doing a wonderful job in anandam. He carry aways the character as ACD and it is real fact that he has won several fans of all ages both female and male. Infact his character in surya as a fraud husband and also the negative character in lakshmi proves that he his capable of handling various characters in a dignified manner. He has a style of his own and his voice modulation and dialogue delivery is excellent. He suits more of dignified character compared to doing negative roles. He does not imitate anybody for his style and his originality in acting proves his sincere effort in acting irrespective of the character. Seems to be very down to earth as and when we read about him in various magazines. Wish him all success in his future endeavours

Saakshi Siva is an amazingly versatile actor. He is equally adept at playing good cop and bad boy. He is at ease both in crisp khakis and stone-washed jeans. He has charm and poise and carries himself very well. And, he has a well-modulated voice. No wonder that he has had the character of Priya in Anandham (and legions of female fans) swooning over him. His impressive portrayal of the role of the upright and conscientious A. C. Durai has in fact thrust the character from the sidelines onto centrestage, trumping all the other leading members of the cast. His bad boy character in Lakshmi is equally convincing. Indeed, with his jeans, t-shirts, leather jacket and earring, his Arjun character looks more cool than evil. And his Paramasivam character in Surya is almost comical and loveable although a cheat and drunkard. The most memorable Saakshi Siva moment for me is when the A. C. Durai character in Anandham was denied the right to speak to Priya at her father's funeral. It was a poignant scene and Siva carried himself with dignified restraint. Six stars to this upcoming artiste.

In today's episode of lakshmi serial our SS appeared only in the last slot of the episode. He was looking good in short sleeves and I suppose he has changed his gold chain. Confused and eager to know whether he is going change from negative role to good or to continue the same negative role with nethra gang. Anywhere nothing to beat the ACD of anandam.

Yup, Sharpviggu. I just saw Saakshi in yesterday's Lakshmi (Episode 238) and he looked good in that yellow T-shirt. (Btw, it was a long-sleeved T-shirt with a sort of scallop neck.) It was still a negative role and he played it to the hilt. How he managed to make truth stand on its head! I thought initially that he was being shortsighted in not hiring a lawyer to represent him but when I heard the pathetic case of the prosecution I realised even an idiot could poke holes in its case. Arjun's case was brilliant. Our friend looked so innocent -- a far cry from the bad boy look in those kidnap scenes 😃

Hi Bonheur, today I saw lakshmi episode239. S.s. was looking good. His character though negative has been portrayed with intelligence. He has got a liking towards Nethra and demands from her brother that he wants to marry her. As I have not seen much of initial episodes of lakshmi, I don't know whether it is tit-a-tat attitude of lakshmi, or the negative role of Arjun to pull down the nethra gang. Anyway good pair he can make with nethra also.

I think he is wearing brown colour contact lens. His eyes and moustache is little different compared to ACD in Anandam.


No appearance of ACD in Anandam today also. I feel very much disappointed and my son is too upset.

Guys, I just got back from seeing today's Lakshmi, of course I saw because I knew our man was goanna appear in it, and he does, for about 70% of the episode. Wow, he had done a fabulous job. And, he sported the same yellow t-shirt he wore yesterday. Now I am seriously thinking of dumping Anandham althogether, now that our man has not appeared in it for almost 3 days. Plus, there seems to be prospects for romance in Lakshmi, SS seems to be interested in Nethra (how much Nethra will reciprocate is a big doubt), but still. For all ACD fans, Lakshmi June 27, 2007, is a must watch episode. I just loved the way he interacted with Jeeva. Boy, he was quite classy.

The two hotties interaction was good 😳 😳 , only minus is that Chaki was there. 😡 One thing I don't like that he use chewing gum to make him look more negatives. He doesn't need that, he already looks good as a baddie and play his role well. I hope he will stop use that 😉 , it's enough with one Ashok who use chewing gum. 😆

BTW, he and nethra will looks so good, earlier I remember I wrote about his jodi with her and now I am happy they have bring that story line. 😳 😳 Of course Nethra won't fall for him as she had Jeeva fever.

Folks, I saw the online version of yesterday's Lakshmi (Ep 239). Dude looked coooool and his acting was awwwwesome. It was a class act. Am looking forward to seeing bad boy transform into lover boy though I doubt Nethra would change her mind about him. She seems to despise him to the core. Besides, the body language between the two characters doesn't strike me as compatible. Nethra's dowager-like character will crush Arjun's playful and spoilt brat character to smithereens.

Anyhow, Cheyar should watch out. Lakshmi may trump Anandham in the polls, thanks to Saakshi's more regular appearances in the former and his frequent disappeaning acts in the latter.

Btw, I felt a slight surge of national pride when Arjun and Chaki toasted the former's success in court by quaffing cans of Singapore-made Tiger beer. 😉
