Thanks Meli for a great update. It is good to see you here once in a while. I guess it takes the absence of updaters to bring you here!

That last scene between Mani and GD - it reminded me of my former home in Chennai, with the banana trees, coconut trees, and most important of all, the papaya trees. When the scene began, I thought they had gone to some vazhai thoppu, but then I saw the walls and realized it was someone's backyard, and that was when I noticed the papaya, and realized why it reminded me of what used to be my home. Ah, what nostalgia at the end of a year!

Bon, Shy and others, you may have to rethink your ideas about the way the serial is going, since GD has just joined the list of thyagis. So who will be next on this list?

Actually Eljay, there was a major editing error, the scene between Manisha and GD should have been telecast much earlier. In fact, in the scene where Manisha confronts Shanti about her pretentious depression, she mentions that GD already told her that Shanti was cured, that she knows Shanti was just acting. But yesterday she expresses surprize when GD tells her about Shanti. Trust the Anandham team to do something like this. 😕

Thanks for the update, Shy! So who was it who predicted that GD will marry Abi? Was it you? Or Bon? Anyway, one of you has a crystal ball, for sure. And you are right about the wrong scene being telecast, because Mani already knew about Shanthi meeting GD from Shanthi herself. Editors, please note that we have sharp eyed people here, don't slip up. I was so busy admiring the banana trees and the papaya that I didn't pay attention to the conversation.
