Anyways, to lighten mood, think of this ending for Anandham (Of course I'm leaving out our star couple here, plus how the goons land in jail). Of course, I dont want to deviate from the crux of Anandham which has been "give me a life" 😔

Eljay, I do recall one episode of Simran Thirai, where a doctor tells the wife of another doctor about a mental patient's problem (Saakshi Sivaa played the mental patient) in the presence of the patient's wife. I was utterly shocked. So, I can deduce that the notion of respecting patient confidentiality is non-existent in most Indian hospitals.

But to be fair to Priya, the reason she betrayed patient confidentiality is that the patient in question is almost a family member for her and she revealed the information to another family member, Arjun. I am pretty sure most of us would have done the same -- that is, if a sibling or parent or husband or wife consults a doctor without our knowledge and we had access to the patient's file, we might have shared it with another member of the family.

Bon, I almost forgave Priya after reading your message until I watched the episode last night (oh, how can you be such a fool, eljay!) and found out that Priya had called Charu and told her about this! Charu is not a sibling or parent to Shanthi, nor is she related to the family (even if she ever entertained such ideas at any time), she is just Priya's former employer and there was no justification in telling her about this. Would the producers stop maligning the entire medical profession? As it is, they have already made fools of the police.
