Charu and Abi continue their kati pidichu kaneer konjal. Abi gives her typical 'unakku vecchen parthiya aappu?' look at ex – hubby, who returns a 'adipaavi arambichittiya?' parvai.

Alex Pandi comes visiting JC. Alex is happy about the fast recovery of ACD, but expresses concern over the threat to ACD. The two talk about how it takes more for a policeman to remain untarnished than remain straight forward. AP tells a periya pulli has sprung up and hindering the police from progressing towards SKPD –Sameer. JC displays his knowledge about rangoli – kolathukku venna pulli ellaiya irukalaam, aana police casekku endha pulliyum ellaiya irukkakoodadhu; asks AP to find out the periya pulli's strength and weakness. AP takes leave.

Madhan is sitting fuming. Rohini brings coffee and hubby refuses. Rohini knows Giri and Roja will get angry if coffee is wasted, advises hubby why turn the anger on Abi towards this poor coffee? He says Abi's parvai was like thousand people laughing at him ( oh idhu than arthama?) and wonders what could be Abi scheming right now. Rohini has a doubt – why can't you warn Charu? Madhan laughs - Charu is now competing for RK's title – adhanga kilimookku maanga pattam; appa never believed us, then how could Charu, believe him. Rohini stands there thinking.

SKPD and Sameer are eating kaanja rotti and pacchai vengayam. SKPD complains about this and Sameer chides him – naakku setha parava illai , neeye sethuda pore! Sameer now talks about the periya pulli who is going to handle ACD. Sirippu thirudan singaravelan ai kaanave illai.

Mani jaan comes to the trust, calling for Rocky. Rocky enquires how 'aunty' is doing? Paati jaan pottu kuduthufies – why call ur amma as aunty. RK witnesses this with shock. Enge nallan? Yes Nallanum orama aajar aararu – hears this. Mani is speechless. Son asks if it is true? Mani jaan runs outside and empties her tear glands on the pillar. Son repeats the question inside, maanga says he doesn't know how to reply. Rocky runs outside calling 'amma' and the duo hug each other. Maanga and Paati jaan look relieved – freeze

September 16, Tuesday

Abi ponnu and Charu amma are konjing konjing and more konjing – paasa mazhaiyile living room poora ore floods. Abi ammakku pramadhama kadhai solra – that PP's spirit advised Abi to unite with Charu. Beginning of saga of another maanga – Charu says it must have been the time she did kriya at Kasi and prayed to PP. Alex Pandian arrives at the scene. Charu welcomes him warmly. AP makes it clear that he has come to enquire Abi about Naren's murder. Paasam kannai maraichu Charu another maanga aaranga. She doesn't allow Abi to answer even one question and gives her judgement!!! To AP that Abi cannot have any link with the murder and shows him the door. AP obliges but makes it clear that they have evidence. Ammavum pennum sandhosham ippadi AP nala varuthama aanadhu nenacchu varutha padaranga. Charu is thoughtful and asks Abi to come out with the truth. Abi thaaiyoda kai mela kai vecchu sathyam pannara that she did not commit the murder.

AP in JC 's office. AP reports his trip to Omni's house. JC agrees to tapping Charu's phone to nab SKPD, who may contact his daughter. They again talk about the big dot –periya pulli.

Abi sitting on the staircase and recalls the recent conversation with amma. Appuram innum oru flashback – Abi gives a suitcase full of 1000 Rs. Bundles to some guy. This guy later shoots Naren who has already taken his revolver to his head!!

Anita is cutting okra with Anjali cutter( edhukku indha sizela cut pannara? Poriyalukku romba perusa irukku, stuffed currykku romba chinnadha irukku – enna recipe theriyalaiye!!!) Arjun walks in and informs her Charu and Abi have united. Anitha doesn't show any interest – aama enna periya vishayam anga amma ponnu , inga amma payan serndhu irukaanga. Arjun doesn't understand. Anitha explains abt Rocky – Manisha union. Arjun is happy – nalla vishayam thane? But Anitha thinks otherwise – Mani is going to take away Rocky, what happens to my anna? He is already a nadai pinam ( but that is how this character has been portrayed from the beginning) Manisha also comes through the open door and is full of happiness. Anitha again for the thousandth time tells Manisha that she can't leave and what would she answer Rocky if he asked for his father? ( naanum naakai thonga pottutu wait pannaren – eppo Mani jaan oorukku povanu? Onnum nadakka maatengudhu) Mani walks out without an answer.

Priya and ACD visit Charu to pay respects and thanks. Charu is happy to receive them. ACD and Charu sit, while Priya prefers to stand near ACD ( ennada idhu? Idhenna athanai mariyadhaiya? Yaarukku?). ACD informs Charu that he would soon be joining duty and his first job would be to nab Sameer and SKPD. Abi watches with her usual erichal look from the first floor – freeze

September 17, Wednesday

ACD continues his conversation with Charu, tells her he will doosi thattufy all cases against SKPD and needs her full support. Abi maintains her erichal look. Priya is all praise for ACD's efforts in getting back to shape and assures her full support to future hubbty, to all assembled. Abi diverts her erichal on Priya ' avalaiyum kavanikka porala? Amma thaye marupadiyum indha rendu perukkum sandai mooti vida poriya? Viewers mela karunai kaattu Abirami! ACD bow enquires about Abi and Charu confirms Abi has finally come to her. ACD manasukkulle 'Abi nichayama thirundha maatta' nu karuvi kitte,expresses little happiness for new maanga's sake. But tells her that when pazhaya cases are taken , he expects full support from Charu. The pair leave, Abi continues'..

Baggage comes to Shadow's house polambing that while he is prevented from konjing Rocky, Manisha is happily sutthufying the ooru with Rocky. Shadow and wife tell him that paatijaan has revealed Manijaan as amma to Rocky. Baggage leaves worried what will happen when ex- Omni knows the truth.

Srini is waiting for Abi. Abi arrives at the scene. They talk happily about how the new maangai is ripening. Srini advises Abi to thanimai paduthufy Charu. Abi assures that it is easy to katharichufy Priya and Madhan would leave on his own cos he is a roshamanavan.

JC is looking into some files and gets irritated. Calls ACS to his room and gives him a lecture about the Indian Olympic medal winners and thittufy him for all pending cases. ACS gives him some excuse, but JC waves him off saying ACD is rejoining and will doosi thattufy all those cases. ( Indha buildup ellam romba than overppa. Idhe madiri than Alex varadhukku munnala JC seidaru' modhal modalla ACD varum podhum seidaru')

Nallan is polambifying about ammijaan-manijaan- rockyjaan link. Mani and son enter the hall and Nallan questions her. RK come down and chide Nallan for crossing his limits and warn him he would have to leave if he doesn't stop prying. Nallan apologises and goes inside. RK also warns Mani not to openly konjify Rocky like this.

Charu is browsing a file and chella ponnu comes down. Maanga tells her she plans to hand over her business to Abi and retire. Abi manasukkulle says 'adhukku than wait pannittu irukken' - freeze

September 18, Thursday

Echarikaigal

There were many scenes, though I may tend to mix them up, I shall try not to miss them.

Giri finished her updates yesterday and sogama maangai pathi nenachittu kanneer vittutu irundha, appadiye toongi poitta. Dhideernu yaaro Giriyai ezhippina madiri irundhadhu partha…..Neelam, alphonsa, panganapalli, rumani, kilimooku, avakkai, thokku and vadumaangai appadinu different varieties of mangoes stood there very sadfaced – Charu , RK ivanga kooda ellam compare seidu engala kevalapaduthitiyenu ore polambal. Giri made a decision , for her the real mangoes are for more important, especially kilimooku and vadumangai. So no more maangai nickname in her updates. Henceforth RK will be gnyanapazham (G-P) and Charu will be gnyana kottai (G-K).

GK conversation continued with Abi about handing over her wealth and business. She shares this sandhoshama news with Madhan, who comes in talking about some construction. Abi gives her usual smirk. Madhan slowly suggests to G-K that mother and daughter should fully understand each other before making this decision. Abi, like a saadhu poonai agrees that Madhan has better business knowledge and that he should continue for some more time. G- K is thoughtful.

G-P prays before Raji's portrait seeking enlightenment in Baggage- Ex.Omni- Manijaan case judgement. He polambifies that he has nothing in his hand to give Rocky, but already had distributed his wealth to all his children. He now decides to give away the house in Raji's name to Rocky ( cleara endha veedu theriyalai – Trust nadakara veeda illai andha veetai vittu veliye ponapodhu irundha veeda?)

ACS comes home irritated. Another policeman fuels the fire saying JC has a soft corner for ACD and both of them uruttufy ACD and JC's thalai for sometime. Mrs. ACS advises her husband to carry on with his duty true to his conscience and not to worry about other colleagues. He goes into a thoughtful mood.

Madhan visits G- P and tells his aathangam about G- K and the pramadha nadippu of Abi. Madhan is worried cos he feels G-K has accepted daughter only after G-P advised her to. He says in near future, G- K is definitely going to land in serious trouble cos of daughter darling and everyone would blame his father. G- P brushes aside his son's kavalai and lectures him true to his new name.

Sameer and his kootalis ( sirippu thirudana innikkum kanalai). SKPD not in sight. Sameer tells them to be on alert to kanakku theerthufy ACD as soon as he joins duty. Samja? Samje, purinjudhu, ok. Engalukkum manasulayee Sameer!

G- P visits vakeel and tells him to transfer the house to Rocky's name and Manisha would be the guardian. Lawyer wants to know about the father, but G- P says he is unable to explain.

ACD gets ready for work and we see him wearing his nameplate, badge, belt, cap etc etc. He looks at his reflection, we see his thudikkum udhadu and vidaikkum mooku. Priya takes aararthi for him. He ensures that she doesn't get even a small smile or a little acknowledgement. Appa also aajar on the spot. Priya goes out happily and again focus on the triple stills of a virappu ACD. BG jaipadhu nijam – freeze

Wed Sep 24

Continuation of y'day's scene. AP tells ACD that Sameer is Mani jaan's bro. He adds that Mani is Baggage's former lover. ACD connects the dots and says he understands why Sameer was trying to kill Baggage. AP next adds that Baggage & Mani jaan also have a son (but does not say its Raky). ACD asks if Shanthi is aware of this and AP replies no, or else you would have known about this before .. from Priya. Oh. They agree Baggage should still be protected by them. AP suggests that ACD talk to Anitha & Arjun.

Priya is watering plants at (ACD's) home. (Naan oru makku. Neththikkuthaaney Priya G-K veettukku poi naalaikku velai join paanuraen-nnu sonna. Innikku veettula irukka. Aiyyo ... enakku yaravudhu ippadi velai pottu kudukka maattaangala!) G-K walks up to Priya. They both sit down at a gazebo. (Amaam.. ACDkku ippidi oru super veedu iruppadha theriyave illaiye!) G-K basically tells Priya to stay at home and be there for ACD since only a woman can run the household (or senti like that). She gives her a blank check and tells her to fill in whatever amount she wants and withdraw or deposit in her own bank account. Priya is thrilled. G-K leaves.

Driver Narayanan is walking on a road when Arjun drives up in his car and stops. Narayanan explains that his car is being repaired and he was on his way to pick it up. Arjun picks him up and during their conversation it comes out that ex-Omnii had asked Narayanan to drop Indhu at school all week. He also adds that he had also taken Shanthi to a detective agency yesterday. Arjun is surprised and digs for more info but Narayanan only says he thinks it may have to do with the intruder who attacked Baggage in their home. Arjun is left wondering after dropping Narayanan.

ACD's police jeep drives up home and he alights while talking in his cell phone. Priya comes in with his medication pill and he pops it in after ending his phone conversation to some Inspector. Priya tells him about G-K coming in and giving her a blank check, just as she had done in the hospital. ACD is petrubed and Priya questions him on that, to which ACD replies that the check was to let Priya know not to return to work. He elaborates that it was probably not G-K's idea but Abhiramai's. He knows her thought process and she is likley getting rid of everyone close to G-K so that she can take over.

Madhan is having his lunch at home and informs Rohini that G-K gave Priya a blank check and told her not to come to work. He adds that it must be Abhi trying to eliminate everyone close to G-K. Arjun drops by and confirms that ex-Omni had stopped by and he had told her that whatever Madhan said is true. Rohini asks if ex-Omni showed any rection and Arjun says not then, but now he sees a reaction. He then tells them about meeting Narayanan and ex-Omni going to a detective agency. Madhan advises Arjun to go and tell the detective to not reveal Mani jaan to ex-Omni and to pay him whatever was needed. Rohini cautions Arjun to not reveal Mani jaan's name to the detective.

Abhi meets Srinivasan and informs him of having eliminated Priya. She says that this was in response to ACD having boldly stated to G-K that he was going to find SKPD and Priya having nodded in agreement. When Srinivasan mentions G-K waiting to perform Priya & ACD marriage, Abhi says that besides G-K giving them aashirvaadam she wouldn't let her spend a paisa on them. Srinivasan then slyly asks Abhi about filling in for Madhan once he is gone and Abhi hesitates. She adds that she knew G-K did not have a good opinion of him before, but now she was not sure but would find out. After Abhi leaves Srinivas polambifies that she had better find out soon, after all he had sent her just so he could get a foothold in G-K's business.

(Senti scene.) Raky walks up to G-P and asks him about Delhi. When G-P tells him about Delhi and then questions Raky he learns that Raky wants to fly airplanes and Mani jaan had plans to take him there soon. G-P wears a worried look.
Freeze.

Baggage steps into his car parked on a road and drives away, while detective is watching. Detective follows him, rather too close if you ask me and watches Baggage stop a maligai stop and buy a small packet - something for Raky?- then leave.

AP & ACD are in Commish's office and he is enquiring on cases being followed up. When ACD states that Abhirami's link to Insp Naren's death could not followed, Commish asks them to drop that case. They next talk about ACS's involvement in SKPD's escape and conclude that he was not involved. AP mentions that Abhi is being questioned on SKPD's case and since she is now in Omni's house, they have tapped her home phone and Abhi's phone too. When Commish questions that, AP & ACD state that SKPD did not escape, but was taken away by someone else, which would be Sameer. They explain that since SKPD was very attached to Abhi, he would positively contact her sometime.

(I have not been taping Anandam on my DVR since I usually post soon, or read about it here. I have been reviewing the episode on Isaitamil today and am 100% sure one scene is missing.. which I am posting here in brief.)
Arjun shows up at Detective Agency and talks his way to chief's cabin as if he was giving him a new case. He then reveals that he was ex-Omni's brother and asks not to follow up that case. Detective rejects that idea outright as that's his business and Arjun flares up and two start a verbal fight, as expected. Detectives staff rush into his cabin and hold Arjun.

Detective and Arjun enter police station. Constable informs Inspector that these people were the ones who had called the Stattion earlier. He asks them to be seated as he was expecting ACS and would talk to them later. ACS alights from his jeep and sees Detective and Arjun. He lectures Arjun on picking up fights and that he was already on record as a trouble maker (for the street fight with SKPD's men a while ago). He cautions him on his behaviour. He also chides the Detetective for coming to the police for such events, instead of sorting it out himself - after all its bad for your business too, he points out.

Baggage is driving and recieves a phone call from Shanthi. She asks him to go to the police station where Arjun is being held. Baggage lands up and meets ACS who mentions that he has asked both parties to write compromise letters and to sign for Arjun and take him. As they leave Baggage starts to ask Arjun for details but Arjun choses to not answer.

Omni walks down the staircase and meets Abhi. Omni is leaving for Malaysia to perform thithi for her 'dad' since she never made it there after he passed away. She instrucs Abhi to follow up on an important port tender and mentions one Jayaram with whom she needs to work and get the contract. Smile and .. unakku adhu thaan theiriyumey. (Yes, but back then she was with SKPD, not Omni.) She also mentions their next construction project and that so-and-so recommends meeting with Minister. (Wait! Isn't the next big construction the housing complex which Abhi herself put a damper on? This is interesting, CR sar.) Omni adds that she would take along Abhi to Malaysia the next time, not only as a daughter but as the business in charge. As Omni is talking, the two gentlemen walk in - Jayaram and the other man - and they shake hands with Abhi and say good bye.(That was the fastest important introduction for those two men!) Abhi promises to take care of everything. Omni leaves in her car and Abhi gives her trademark smirk - ippa naan saeyaradha paarunga.
