When Dev came to know that his daughters were conjoint, he left them and his wife. This is definitely bad. But what he is doing now is far worse. He sees his daughters after so many years, when they have grown up. Instead of becoming emotional and trying to find how his daughters lived during this time period, what does he do? He wants them punished. He knows that Amber is innocent and he knows that killing Amber means killing both. Still, he asks death punishment for Amber. Later, he argues that Dhara is equally responsible, so both should be punished.
Isn't it disgusting that he wants death punishment for his innocent daughters just to save his reputation of being a lawyer, who never lost a case?
