Amber cud die if they do the operation. and i saw the pics of arteries and stuff and i took biology. and its very dangerous to separate. so - i mean u can realize how much pain it will be! and pain is the biggest killer- be it body parts or emotional.

In reality it is not easy to separate conjoined twins and the chances of survival are not high. These operations also cost a lot of money.

Only a lucky few have been successfully operated.

Some of the twins are joined at their skull, how do they survive?

There are a few western programmes or movies that have highlighted this storyline.

The serial will focus on the lives of those twins who couldn't benefit from a separation operation.

I think its a novel storyline and a very real one in fact.

It's because they share one liver, but Dhara has more of its part so Amber's life could be in danger if they tried to do the operation

You must also consider the fact that the beginning of the show is not set in present time. It is only after the leap that they are in present day. The show started about 2 decades ago (before AD's birth). Separating conjoined twins can be extremely difficult even today (depending on exactly how they are conjoined). It was even more difficult so many years ago in the western world, forget about India. 🤔

If the story is present then the children were born about 17-18 years ago when a surgery separating conjoined twins was impossible. Another reason is the Doctor himself had seen such a case for the first time and also the hospital had no such facility.

In most cases conjoined twins cannot be operated due to them sharing same organs like head, kidney etc. In this case I guess they aren't showing such serious kinds so in future, may be in Mumbai, the twins will get surgery.

I watched the first episode again and the story starts on Jan 23, 1987. There is no doubt about it now. Separating conjoined twins is rare and dangerous as it is. Twenty years ago the risks were even higher. What's more it would have been impossible to have that done in India.

Hello to u all,

Since it's such a touching story i would like to share something with u all friends. I have seen such circumstances in real life just in the neighborhood there were twin born like that ( siamoise baby) they were boys. Since they were attached by liver a surgery was done but el las one was dead and the other one is alive and is now 16 yrs old and is leading g a a normal life . He do miss his brother but.....

I know another case of 2 girls from Saudi Arabia they were siamoise twin they did live their lives like AB they got their surgery done at the age of 30 or more. Now they both are alive. since they were not attached to some vital organs they could be operated but we got to hear that the surgery took more than 24 hrs.

i just wanted to share what i know.Sorry for some spelling mistakes.

Thank u all.
