I just started watching record of youth , although I'm not sure if I'll continue ..i don't wanna see too much of struggle and pain .

It was the same with dream high..without bg music the scenes look bland ..Suzy had one expression throughout the guy paired opp her (he's the one who played the villain in vincenzo) is the same..one expression man..the only remotely cute couple was the fat girl and her bf..

the village guy was just fine but again..I set to watch the show for him ..what i get to see ? Till epi 14 he's nowhere near success..I don't wanna see tjeir struggles for so long ..it gets boring..along with that there were a lot of illogical and cliche stuff..gossiping college mates ? Teachers/ principal favoring a few students over others without any reason...in the 2nd epi, this guy rejects a more talented girl and recruits her as special admission ? The less talented girl makes it big then they show she isn't talented enuf ? The only thing this show did for me is to appreciate the hero and his other shows like my love from the star and its okay not to be ok...

Your questions with dream high are so relevant and apt that I wonder what I was thinking when I watched that 😆

I just finished record of youth ...dunno what I'll start next ..let's see..

Record of youth , I found it amazing ..initially i was happy to see studio dragon bec I've loved all their shows..glad this one was no different ..

No melodrama , no ott reactions, subtle characters but very strong, high on self esteem ..I didn't ff even 1 scene 😳 I didn't get bored for 1 min...very inspiring , full of hope..ican say its a slice of life drama......I've seen 4-5 dramas based on the drama industry themes..some were serious some were romcoms but all were nice .....roy adds to the list..

The best thing I found abt this show is how people change or rather, not change with the ups and downs in life..all characters are so calm and composed no matter how bad the situation got....the hero makes it big yet he's unfazed with the stardom and success..he's still the simple guy at his small home enjoying with his family ..the dynamic between the best friends mothers was excellent..she continues to work as a houseworker inspite of her son being a superstar ..parents refusing to take money from their son👏this show put me into thinking mode . The dynamic between father , son and grandsons..awesome..the 3 friends 👏 heros brother is a sample piece 🤣 In whatever he did , he made me laugh

It gives a nice msg that it is possible to achieve success without compromising on one's morals and values but it needs patience ..

It's the ml (sa hye jun) show through and through....I didn't like the fl much but she was ok ..going by her character , she was barely hanging around the ml ...their break up towards the end did make sense, expectedly but I was disappointed in her ..he did nothing wrong, he just tried his best to accommodate to his new life ..only if she chose to walk along ..she was always very rigid ..if I do this I'll end up like my mom etc etc ..so many assumptions on future and nothing for the present...initially I felt both had their set of values which they won't compromise on..but with time , when he couldn't keep his word, she starts getting distant ..I don't think it was something that couldn't be worked upon..anyways..it ended on a high note so it's fine ..

I liked her dealing with his past , rumors, ex, journalists really well..I wish hye ho also had a good track..trying his luck with the girl and how she deals with him was also very nicely shown..there was no jealousy or attempts to create misunderstandings..his family scenes were a good watch..

Relatable. There is so much to say and all we need is someone to listen. Here people even relate and understand. That makes it more fun.

Finished angels last mission love and started wok of love 😆

Angels last mission was okayish but I fell in love with 2 of its songs..I dunno why they write a tragedy with a happy ending in a fantasy ..the leads and their story was otherwise good ..lots of plotting and scheming going on which I had to fast forward..

Wok of love is whacky ..enjoying it 😆

I watched it for the hyped Junho and was not disappointed. His talent, dream and everything about him. An Always starving girl. Gentle gangster loan shark and his brothers and the hotel. You get to see a lot of dishes and its prep and presentation. Wok.Ladle.Wok.Ladle. Humor. Dedication. Love and lot more. Go ahead. Service!

Yeah.

Junho I loved him in king the land , he is barely recognizable here...but the lady is very cute ..her smile 😃 and I loved her character ..also the second lead , the gangster is the hero of you're my destiny he has a unique style and he does subtle comedy really well with his antics..I am shocked how the hairstyle changes the looks of am actor ..in a way its good bec it looks as though I'm watching a completely different char each time ..

The food aspect is just amazing.. I love this abt k dramS..anything to do with art and creativity they do it really really well..be it cooking or art or doctors or lawyers or books or corporates or actors or sports.person..thr backdrop is romance always as it should be lol But they put in their heart and sou into their work which I adore..

I always love their dining scenes in each show..how they stress on eating together and cooking for each other ..its like a culture

Dream high is a disaster acting wise. Interesting bit is that the Vincenzo villian, second ML Jason are from the same kpop group along with Junho from king the land. They also have Chansung who played second ML - the miser, 1 coat guy in secretary Kim.

Angel's last mission started off so well. But the plotting went haywire in the middle and by the end it didn't even make sense. The writer tried too hard with that childhood connection and failed to deliver. The OST especially Sweeter by Jess Penner was so good. Actors tried their best with what they were given. Shin hae sun deserved a better script and the ML looked so pretty like an angel, he didn't even need to act 😉
