Teja's Family!

Teja's family is so screwed up, & I don't know whether I should applaud the ingenuity of the writers to invert the whole family characteristics or to bemoan the fact that Teja's family has been sacrificed at the altar of the vagaries of the script. When the show started, we see a very happy family, a strong mother who has brought up her only child with a lot of struggle, a supporting uncle who supports and dotes on his niece, a loving aunt who is willing to give up her jewellery for her niece's future, cousins who respect and love Teja as their own sister and a dead dad who was the epitome of an ideal human being and now we have a mother who is rigid and unwilling to listen to anyone regarding her dead husband, even her own daughter, a spineless uncle who was unable to tell the truth and save Teja and Prem's future, a pyschopathic sister who has no qualms of killing her sister, a corrupt dead father who is the anti-thesis of everything Teja stands for. Man this is a lot to process for anyone, even for Teja who is so strong.

I agree with you about Tejaswini family all of a sudden becoming this disastrous bunch of people who you can no longer understand. How did the mother who trusted her daughter so much not believe her, when she knew her daughter dislikes wrong and always tries to stand for right. And I don't understand how the mama who treated Tejaswini as a daughter and friend didn't back her up and tell the truth to his sister. How can someone hold back after the truth is basically potentially out in the open? As for the maami her character is hard to understand, as we haven't seen the full fledged relationship she has with Tejaswini. As in we aren't that aware of the full equation between them, as they haven't had as many scenes with each other. As for Preeti she is just a pain, she is so psychotic and unstable that I don't know if I want to see her further in the show. I mean I wouldn't mind her if they started her track with one of the other brothers already. At least she would be slightly more bearable. Also where did the other cousin go? I think I kind of saw her at the wedding, other than that I haven't really seen her. I just really hope that the mama grows a spine, Preeti gets some help and moves on and the mother stops living in a fake world.
