Aakash inspected the planet carefully. It was the weirdest think possible he had ever seen. And ugly damn! It was ugly too. He couldn't even identify it's shape properly. What did it look like? A giant egg? Nope! Was it round shaped? Nope! He was desperately trying and failing to match it with any kind of structure. Leaning towards the huge monitor he was adjusting the system for a better view. He again leaned back to his chair and gave a deep sigh. His worry stricken face expressing disappointment. Suddenly a voice made him turn around "All good Captain?" Aakash returned a smile "Yes Ananya. Everything's fine." Ananya frowned "Are you ok?" Aakash smirked "Yes, I am completely fine. Thank you. I was just checking out Genevon. I've never seen anything like this before." Ananya turned to the monitor and set her eyes on the huge screen. There it was. That disgusting scene! A planet 100000 kilometres away from their spaceship. It looked like a creepy creature that could be anyone's horror. Ananya stared at the screen for minutes and then with a worry stricken face replied "Me neither Captain. Whenever I see this thing, it freaks me out. I don't know what's wrong but I am not having a very good feeling about it. Sometimes I think we should probably leave immediately;far away from this thing." Aakash again sighed "I wish we could do that. But it doesn't matter if we want to continue this research or not; our will doesn't matter. We have orders to follow. And we have to follow them no matter what." He turned towards Ananya; took her hand and squeezed it lightly, "Are you scared?" Ananya smiled "No Captain, just a bit nervous and tensed. There's something about this planet which freaks me out." Aakash nodded "I know. But don't worry. We'll be ok." Ananya smiled "That I know Captain. Thanks." They oddly parted their hands as if they weren't willing to.

An awkward silence was followed and both of them were trying desperately to find words. Ananya stammered a bit "Um...uh Captain um...this..this report came from WSE today. They want us to start working as soon as possible. And I just wanted you to check it out and provide Dr. Zaslavski with further orders for the progress of the research." Aakash smiled "I will surely do that Ananya. Thank you. What would I do without my talented Engineer? This mission would have been impossible without you." Ananya tried and failed to hide her blush "Thank you Captain. It means a lot to me. Though I don't deserve the compliment but..." "And why do you think that? Ananya, you are a beautiful and talented young woman. You deserve much more appreciation than you get." Ananya stared at him and he returned an assuring smile. Ananya could feel her all anxiety going away and it relaxed her. Suddenly the shuttle opened with a click and a number of people entered. "So, what do we have here Captain?" An old man asked as he stepped towards the monitor. Aakash got up in a welcoming gesture "I hope we are ready Dr. Zaslavski." The old man smiled a winning smile and said with confidence "We are good to go Captain." Turning towards the screen, he frowned and whispered "Genevon, here we come."
