Note: I hope you all remember me and my story. I have never left the forum just my professional and personal life have kept me extremely busy. It has been and will be difficult for me to update regularly but I have decided to make it up to you guys by giving 4 chapters together.Thanks to all your prayers and wishes, my Mom is much better now.
Chap-26 Mole
The haldi ceremony of Shefali had passed off with Akash and Ananya being inseparable apart from the time they were with the bride and groom.Ananya was decked up in a pale yellow and blue colored lehenga with a backless choli and Akash had loved to run his fingers on her back and he loved to see her cheeks being crimson as he did so.He had loved to see Ananya looking so beautiful decked up in his colors.It was followed by the wedding ceremonies and keeping up with the South Indian tradition , Shefali had been decked up in a red colored kanjeevaram with her braid being covered with flowers and she being covered in heavy jewels.The bride and the groom were unable to take eyes off each other.Akash stood by Kunal watching Shefali's mother and father alongwith Kunal's parents steeping in to start the wedding rituals.He was restless as he could not see Ananya alongwith Shefali and he decided to search for her, but as he was able to turn he saw the object of his attention coming up the steps of the temple decked up in a cream and magenta lehenga with golden polka dots and a same colored dupatta adoring her. She had worn the kundan set Akash had gifted her, the jhumkas , the necklace and the bangles and also the chain around her exposed midriff. Akash was shocked , although he had bought it because he liked it but he never thought she would wear it.She looked extremely sexy with the chain glittering on her exposed midriff. They both looked at each other and their eyes held each other as if the world did not exist for them. As the rituals proceeded Akash noticed that Ananya had tears in his eyes and he knew she was missing her parents and she was having the realization that she would not have anybody to be along with her in her special day. Akash felt at the moment if he could run to Ananya, take her in his arms and console her saying he would never make her feel lonely again. After the rituals were over and the guests had lunch, Shefali left for her new home amidst emotional good byes from her family members. Ananya accompanied Shefali to her new home as Akash managed to whisper in her ears that he would pick her up in the evening before Ananya was whisked off by Shefali's cousins.
At about 6pm in the evening Ananya's cellphone beeped signaling Akash had arrived and she managed to fumble some excuse to the crowd before she sneaked out of the place to meet Akash who was waiting in his car a little far from the entrance. Akash was perched up on the boot of the car when he saw Ananya coming out and he just could not take his eyes off her. She was looking smoking hot in the sari she wore and co-incidentally Akash had gifted her, it was a shimmering blue colored chiffon with a sleeveless black colored blouse which had a very deep cut on both sides and Akash had a hard-on thinking the view behind the pallu.She had left her hair open and had adorned the simple black crystal set that she had bought to match along with the saree.The sexiest part was the chain that wound along her waist accentuating the curvy figure and Akash had to pull all his strength not to take her right there. Ananya could see desire in Akash's eyes and turned crimson as he realized his state and desire also flooded through her veins. They broke the eye lock when a vehicle passing nearby honked very loudly and Akash could not stop himself from saying "beautiful". They drove out into the city limits towards the main epicenter making Ananya was curious and she could not stop herself from asking,
"Where are we going Akash?"
Ak: Mom is back and I wanted to take you to meet her.
An (looking petrified): You should have told me earlier Akash I would have picked up something decent from the wardrobe, this is to go out with you not to meet your Mom.
As she said all this in one go, Ananya realized what she had said and bit her lip.
Akash looked at her state and laughed heartily and said:
"So you admit you dressed up for me, to go out with me or maybe better seduce me"
He winked at Ananya as he saw her cheeks flaming as she bit into her lip and seeing that Akash went near her and whispered huskily "If you keep doing this I have to stop driving and kiss you till we are breathless right now , right here".Ananya jerked up hearing him say that and Akash quickly added "by the way if this is all to impress me , I am loving it and I must say I am really impressed ".Soon Akash came to a halt in front of their small bungalow and held the door open for Ananya to step out and saw she was a little nervous about coming to face his mother.Looking at her nervousness , Akash went near her and pulled her holding her hand and said "You will love once you meet her, she is a very cool and wonderfully warm person and don't worry you are looking absolutely fine".
Akash could not be further from truth as his mother welcomed Ananya with a warm hug saying she had always dreamt of Akash having a perfect life partner and the things she had heard about her made her feel she was the perfect one for her Akash. As she took her around the house telling her various stories of Akash , how he grew up, how he used to be at his naughtiest best, Ananya could feel the strong bond the mother and son shared. As three of them sat down with snacks and tea, Ananya felt her dream of having a perfect family coming true. She did not know when it was quite late till Akash intervened saying it is getting late and he should drop Ananya back home. He can bring her again if they want to catch up on pending conversation. At this Ananya answered "You don't have to bring me here, I can myself come here if I feel like meeting Aunty". At this Akash mom said "that's right and I want you soon to start calling me Mom, the way Akash calls me and ask this guy to decide soon about bringing you here permanently". At this both of them looked at each other silently drifting away to their own dream world as Akash was nudged by his Mom to bring back to reality. As Akash and Ananya drove back with Akash taking Ananya for dinner, she was lost in her own thoughts and Akash asked her,
"Ananya, where are you lost?"
An: Akash you have given me a best gift today by making me meet your mother. I felt so special being part of your family.
Ak (put an arm around her and pulled her close): You are special and you are family Ananya and no one can ever take your place in my life.
Ananya was overwhelmed and rested her head on his shoulders as Akash drove to their favorite gateway at a hilltop overlooking the city after packing up dinner for both of them. Once they reached the spot, Ananya stood at the edge with the cool breeze brushing against her face and she turned around to see Akash on his knees holding up a rose to her. Ananya laughed at him and took the rose and pulled him by his shoulders to stand so she could hear what he had to say.
Ak: Ananya thanks for coming into my life and accepting me the way I am.I know I am not perfect but I am trying to be so I match up to you. Will you be kind enough to accept this imperfect Akash in your life and make him like you.
An (tears glistened in her eyes hearing the hearty confession): Akash you complete me and I don't want to change anything about you. I have already accepted the way you are and I always want you to be the same and never change.
Saying this Ananya moved to a nearby bench with Akash following close behind and she said
"You remember I had told you that I have a mole which I want to show myself to somebody special"
Akash nodded remembering the Vikas incident and then he was stupefied with what Ananya did next. She moved her hair to the front and unclipped her blouse at the back to make the butterfly shaped small mole visible to Akash.
Chap-27 Stormy weather
Akash was overwhelmed with the gesture as he knew for Ananya it was a big step in trusting him and giving her to him. He bent down to place a soft peck on the mole before making his way upwards with light feathery kisses on Ananya's fair milky white skin. He heard Ananya moaning his name and he let his desire for her overrule his senses as he made is way with small bites caressing them and soothing them and moving from behind over her shoulders towards her neck and collar bone from where her globes were clearly visible and he spread his hand out to cup them and heard Ananya cry out his name..In few seconds he was back in his senses and smoothened Ananya's clothes and clipped her blouse back in its place.When he turned Ananya to face him she had tears in her eyes and Akash knew that she felt rejected as she was ready to give herself up to Akash tonight. Akash moved forward and cupped her face and made her face him and said,
"Believe me Ananya it took all fiber in my body to stop myself from feeling every inch of you, making love to you in every way I can but I don't want to do it here in this way. I want to be special between us where both of us can enjoy it.Foremost, I have made myself a promise that I won't get involved with you physically till I have broken clean with Natasha and tomorrow I am going to talk to her and once I have told her the truth and explained my stance I will not let you go, I want to kiss every inch of your body. So, my sweetheart don't feel dejected, I am humbled by what you have given me today. You have given me your body and soul and I want to handle them with care".
Ananya understood the depth of his words and slowly a smile crept up in her lips and Akash could not stop himself from kissing her. They had their dinner amidst small jokes and conversations. Akash mentioned that there was a football match the next day and he was playing for the NIAMS team along with another hospital nearby and post the match there was dinner hosted by Dr.Gupta for all and the guests for the conference that was underway in NIAMS currently. Although Ananya was barely interested in football but since Akash was insisting that if she comes he will play else he will not, she decided to come. He also promised to pick her up for the dinner and they could go to the venue together. As they headed back home together they were at peace with each other having discovered a new state of intimacy and commitment. Next morning Ananya had to visit the orphanage as Juhi had not been keeping well for quite some time now with occasional fevers and her not so good blood report. Ananya had recommended the next level of blood tests to be done as the first level did not throw up any investigative results. She had promised Akash to be in time for the football match and had to almost get caught by the traffic police for exceeding speed limit while driving to the stadium to watch the match. As soon as she entered , she texted Akash that she had reached the venue and will meet him after the match. Surprisingly there was no reply to her text message and although it seemed a little odd but she thought to ignore it thinking maybe Akash is already in the field and might not have seen the message at all. Ananya hardly loved football but she had watched her Akash throughout the game and it seemed at a point of time that their eyes met. Once the match was over, Ananya had rushed towards the dressing room and waited for Akash to come out texting him that she was waiting outside. It was almost an hour that Ananya had waited outside with no signs of Akash. She had tried to call him but he had not answered the phone and as she started to leave, she noticed a shocking scene. She saw Natasha hugging Akash and he too hugging her back. They seemed to be talking amicably and looked like they were pretty comfortable with each other. Ananya's heart sank as she saw them together although she had faith in Akash but questions of his integrity roared its ugly head. She wanted to confront Akash right then and there but decided not to, seeing the crowd moving towards the same direction and she did not want to create a scene. She decided to confront him during the evening when they would go for the conference dinner.
Ananya was scared of losing Akash, she had not eaten throughout the day and nibbled through when she felt hungry. In the evening although plagued by horrible thoughts she still decided to go ahead and message Akash for the dinner. To her utmost surprise, Akash replied back stating that he had loads of work and could not make it to the dinner and asked her to go ahead with the others. Although Ananya did not intend to go without Akash but she decided to go ahead and at least confront Akash on the questions she had today. She dressed up in a red anarkali with full net sleeves and thin gold border running around the entire circumference. She applied a little lip-gloss and little kohl in her eyes and headed for the cardiac center to meet Akash. As, she entered the premises her heart skipped a beat and she felt there was something wrong going to happen but then she has feeling like this ever since she had seen Natasha and Akash together. She walked in to meet Namitha who was on duty in the night shift and she asked about Akash. Namitha informed Ananya that Akash had not come in and she was surprised that Ananya did not know. As Ananya left the place, Namitha told Ananya "you are looking beautiful and I am sure Akash will not be able to take his eyes off you".Ananya did not know whether it was going to be true and she smiled a pale "thanks" and drove off to the dinner venue on just the instinct that Akash might be there. As she drove , she saw dark clouds gathering in the sky as if it was going to rain like never before and by the time she reached the venue the storm had picked up pace. With her heartbeat also picking up pace, she reached the venue and stepped inside greeting a few fellow colleagues on the way and as she approached the center all her questions were answered. There stood Akash in a black three piece suite with a bow tied and a shining white shirt looking as handsome as ever. Both their eyes met drinking each other but within a moment Akash took his eyes off Ananya and held Natasha by her elbow and pulled her towards some of his friends. That's when Ananya noticed Natasha wearing an off shoulder blue shimmering figure hugging dress which ended just above her knees. Ananya moved through the crowd to stand near to Akash which he noticed as well and immediately he introduced Natasha to one of their colleagues saying "meet my fiance Natasha Gupta, we are all set to get engaged soon and are planning to get married right after that ".Ananya felt she had not heard him right so inched closer when he heard the other person say "Oh nice to meet you Natasha, I did not know that you and Akash were planning to get married .Congratulations". Next followed a couple of more people who were either Akash or Natasha's acquaintances to whom they both introduced each other as fiance. Ananya had followed close behind and by now she had no doubts about what they were saying, she started feeling dizzy and had to hold the wall for support. She started feeling like throwing up and ran as fast as she could towards the restroom.
Once in the restroom, she broke down into tears as she recollected their moments together and remembered how Akash had promised never to leave her alone. She had to find out why this sudden turn, she was sure something was wrong and she had to find out. She could not sit and whine over now, she had to speak to Akash alone.
Chap-28- Broken
After about half an hour Ananya had managed to regain some composure and she stepped out of the restroom to get hold of Akash alone. As if God had answered her prayers, as soon as she stepped in the corridor leading to the restroom she found Akash standing there somewhat lost. She stood behind him and softly called "Akash".Immediately Akash turned shocked at her voice and turned to see her watery eyes facing him and he stepped to go when Ananya held his hand and said in a pleading tone "Akash please want to talk to you. Will not take more than 10mins just a few answers is all I need". Seeing him still Ananya left his hand and asked,
"What is this Akash that I hear you and Natasha say outside, is it true that you and she are planning to get engaged?"
Ak: Yes you heard right, we are
An: So what was that was between us, till yesterday. What was that we shared Akash, does not it mean anything to you
Akash remained quiet hearing her words and on getting no answers, Ananya surged forward and held his collar and shouted
"Tell me Akash, what was it, all those promises, all those moments was it all a joke if this is what you wanted always"
At this Akash threw her hands off his collar and shouted back,
"Yes it was Ananya, I just wanted your help to learn and gain knowledge so I could be selected for Dr.Gupta's Sweden venture and nothing else. I can never fall for a girl like you, don't you understand. You were a fool to think that I am in love with you. I never was and never can love you"
Ananya swayed a little on her feet and Akash stepped forward to hold her when she put her hand forward to stop him,
"Tell me Akash, please tell me what's wrong. Why are you behaving like this, whatever you are saying can't be true.
She said in between sobs "tell me it's not true, you are joking. Why all this drama Akash even if you wanted my help, you could have just asked for it, why did you play with my emotions."
Akash smiled sarcastically and said "I know it's different when you do it for someone you love and when you just do as a duty so I wanted to learn everything that you know or personally Dr.Gupta has trained you on.Cmon Ananya, you know me right..just get over it and move on"
Ananya was about to say something when she saw Natasha come in and hold Akash hands and say "C'mon baby let's go, people are waiting. What are you doing with this girl here, you can do work later".Akash just pulled Natasha along with him and walked back to the venue looking back once at Ananya who stood like a status distraught and lost. The rain was paltering down heavily now on the roof of the venue and people were stuck inside unable to step out. Nothing mattered anymore to Ananya, neither the rain, nor the danger nor the flooded roads. She stepped out in the rain getting drenched head to toe in the next minute .As the rain mixed with the tears, Ananya walked aimlessly wading through the flooding roads towards nowhere. Her dupatta was pulled away in the waters but she was hardly in her senses as people looked on at a lady in red walking through the roads in the late evening. Akash had been back after sometime to the spot where he had left Ananya to check if she was fine. His throat chocked as he thought of how harsh he had been to her and how hurt she was with his words but he was sure Ananya was strong enough to recover and move on. That's what he wanted Ananya to move on for her own good. He would never be able to tell her the reason behind all this but he was fine to live with her hate but he could not see anything happening to her .It has been quite some time Ananya was nowhere to be seen and Akash grew panicky with each passing minute. As Natasha pulled him through the crowd of guests his eyes remained glued for a glimpse of Ananya "where has she gone in this rain, where is she lost". As soon as Natasha got busy with her buddies, Akash sneaked out and started to wade his way along the road to look out for Ananya. There was no way to drive so the only option was to wade and that's what he did not caring that he was dripping wet with his designer suite being coated with dirty water on the roads. He had searched for more than 5hrs but Ananya was nowhere to be seen, there were broken trees, people electrocuted, fallen buildings, the city was in a mess so getting police help was unthinkable so the best way for Akash was to search Ananya all by himself. By now Akash was crying, he could not have chosen a better day to hurt Ananya and if something happens to her he would be the only one responsible. The thought of something happening to Ananya made him feel breathless and his heart constricted and he started walking back towards her house thinking that she might have returned back home. As he sat there letting finally his heartache fall in the form of tears just praying after a long time asking her to give back Ananya safe and he would just walk out of her life without any questions.
