CHAPTER - 53

Ananya and Rohit both informed and called their families.In Ananya's home,only Madhu was the one who was extremely happy and the others including Rohit's father Sunil were just unwillingly happy since Ananya was doing a kind of compromise to move on in her life.When Ananya's family reached Mumbai,Madhu hugged her daughter and said,"Ananya beta tune aaj jaakar apni zindagi ka sabse achcha aur sahi faisla liya hai.Main aaj sach mein bohot bohot zyaada khush hu."Ananya sarcastically smiled and replied,"Ha ma main samajh sakti hu after all itna ameer damaad jo mil raha hai.Tumhaari khushi ka to thikaana hi nehi hoga,aakhir tumhaare nazar mein to pyar se zyaada paiso ki ehmiyat hai."Madhu made a face and said,"Achcha ahcha chal aaj aise shubh mauke par aisi baate karne ki kya zarurat hai aur vaise bhi Rohit jaisa paisewaala hai utna hi tujhse pyar bhi karta hai."Ananya said,"Ha ye baat to sach hai."Madhu said,"Arey maine to hamaare panditji se tere aur Rohit ke sagaai ki taarik bhi nikalwa li hai."Ananya said,"Tum to aise bol rahi ho ma jaise tumhe meri pehli shaadi tutne ka bilkul bhi dukh nehi hai.Aisa lag raha hai jaise tum har roz bhagwaan se yehi dua karti thi ke mere aur Akash ki shaadi toot jaaye."Madhu said,"To jis shaadi se meri beti kabhi khush hi nehi rahi us shaadi ke baare mein main achcha kyu sochu?Achcha hua jo toot gaya."Ananya replied,"Tum shaayad duniya ki vo pehli ma ho jisey apni beti ki shaadi tootne se itni khushi mil rahi hai.Koi bhi ma chahe kitni bhi buri kyu na ho par kabhi bhi vo apni beti ki shaadi tootne ki dua nehi karti aur tum to meri sagi ma ho."Madhu found it useless to argue with Ananya.In order to change the topic,Madhu showed her a ring and said,"Dekh ye anguthi kharidi hai maine teri sagaai ke liye.Ab tu to Rohit ko achche se jaanti hai.Uski pasand napasand,to ye ring Rohit ko pasand to aayegi na?"Ananya said,"Thori der mein vo aanewaala hai,tum khud hi usse puch lena."Saying she left Madhu's room and went to her room.Shefali was there in her room.On seeing Ananya,Shefali said,"Mujhe ye to pata tha ke tumhara dil paththar ka hai,par aaj pata chala ke tumhaare paas to dil hi nehi hai.Tumne to kabhi jiju se pyar hi nehi kiya hai."Ananya said,"Tere jiju ne kabhi mujhse pyar nehi kiya hai Shefali."Saying she told Shefali whatever happened between her and Akash in Mumbai.Shefali said,"Koi aadmi itna bhi banaavti nehi ho sakta hai ke vo itni dur US se Mambai tumhe dhoka dene aaya hai.Ye sab tumhaare aakho ka shoka bhi to ho sakta hai.2 saal pehle waali baat aur thi par abhi tumne bas itna dekha ke vo dono ek kamre ke andar ja rahe hai,vaha jaakar kya kiya ye to nehi pata tumhe.Phir is bina par tum itni bari naainsaafi kaise kar rahi ho jiju ke saath?"Ananya replied,"Dekh Shefali har baat ka explanation main tujhe dena zaruri nehi samajhti hu.Tujhe jo samajhna hai samajh,par abhi sach yehi hai ke main Akash ke saath nehi reh sakti aur main Rohit se shaadi karne ja rahi hu aur ye sach nehi badlega."Shefali said,"Tum meri behen ho par phir bhi aaj dil se tumhaare liye ek hi baddua nikal rahi hai ke tum kabhi bhi khush na raho."Saying Shefali left Ananya's room.

After some time,Rohit came to meet Ananya's family.He took everyones blessings and everyone except Madhu blessed him half-mindedly especially Ajit.Madhu said,"Arey Rohit beta main tumhe bata nehi sakti ke main kitni khush hu tum dono ki shaadi se."Rohit replied,"Ji auntyji main bhi aur mujhe sabse zyaada khushi is baat se hai ke Ananya ne bina kisi dabaav ke khud is shaadi ke liye ha ki hai."Madhu said,"Arey kyu nehi karegi aisa here jaisa damaad roz roz thore hi milta hai aur ab na beta auntyji nehi,ma bolo ma aakhir saas bhi to ma hi hoti hai."Everyone talked with Rohit except Shefali and Ajit.When Rohit left,Ajit went to Ananya and asked,"Beta ek baat sach sach bolna tu ye shaadi apni marzi se,apni khushi se to kar rahi hai na?Mera matlab tujhpar kisi kisam ka dabaav...?"Ananya said,"Ha papa maine ye faisla apni marzi se liya hai aur isme sab khush bhi to hai na."Ajit sadly smiled and said,"Tujhe sab sahi mein khush lag rahe hai?Huh!Teri ma ke alava is shaadi se aur koi bhi dil se khush nehi hai,kyuki uske alava sabko ye baat bohot achche se samajhme aa raha hai ke tere dil mein sirf Akash hi tha,vohi hai aur hamesha vohi rahega aur beta jisse pyar na ho,uske saath koi chahke bhi khush nehi reh sakta."Ananya said,"Agar aapko yehi lagta hai ke main samjhauta kar rahi hu to thik hai samjhauta hi sahi.Jisse mere parivaar ko khushi miley aisa samjhauta main haste haste karne ko tayyar hu."Ajit said,"Tu apne parivaar ke liye samjhauta kar rahi hai na?To thik hai aaj main tujhe kehta hu mat kar ye shaadi.Bol meri baat maanegi?"Ananya looked at her father strangely and asked,"Ye aap kya keh rahe hai papa aur kyu keh rahe hai aisa?"Ajit replied,"Apne papa ki ek baat maan le beta,mat kar ye shaadi.Ek baap sirf itni ilteja hi kar sakta hai tere aagey baaki teri marzi."Ajit left from there leaving Ananya confused and surprised.

Rohit's father arrived from Delhi and after meeting with Ananya's family,they finalized the date of engagement.Rohit came to take Ananya for shopping for their engagement.At first they went for shopping of the jewelleries and engagement ring.After purchasing them,they went to a mall for purchasing the engagement attire.Ananya chose a dress and went to give a try to it.Rohit was waiting outside and was constantly looking at his watch.After quite a long time,when Ananya didn't return,he decided to check for himself.Now the trial room was in a bit of isolated area.While he was going that way,suddenly he heard the scream of a girl.He stopped in his way and said,"Ye to Ananya ki awaaz hai."He ran towards the direction of the voice and her voice became more and more clear.He stopped outside a door and banged on it and asked,"Ananya are you there?What happened?"Suddenly another door opened and Ananya came running out of it and hugged Rohit.Following Ananya,Akash came out of the trial room.Ananya was crying out of fear and she said,"Rohit...Rohit...Vo maine kapre vaha rakkhe aur jab...aur jab main darwaaza bandh karne ke liye muri to ye Akash achaanak se andar aaya aur peeche se darwaaza bandh kar diya...Maine chillaane ki...bohot koshish ki par...par usne mera muh bandh karke rakkha tha."Rohit was furious to hear that.He walked towards Akash in rage and punched on his face.He grabbed his collar and asked,"How dare you touch my fiance?"Akash grabbed his hands and put them away from his collar and grinned,"How dare you marry my wife?"Rohit started beating Akash and vice versa.Hearing the noise,many people came that way.They separated both and enquired about the matter.Rohit told them.The mob became very angry at Akash and before they could beat him up,Ananya screamed and stopped them and requested them not to do anything to Akash.Akash said,"Aap log mujhe maarne aaye the na ye sun kar ke main eek larki ke saath badtameezi ki?Dekhiye ab vohi larki mujhe bacha rahi hai,pata hai kyu?Because she is my wife.Main apni biwi se milne aaya tha."Rohit said,"Jhut bol raha hai ye.Ye meri magetar hai aur ab ye dono saath bhi nehi rehte hai."Akash said,"Saath bhale hi nehi rehte hai par abhi tak hum dono ka divorce nehi hua hai aur naahi kabhi hogi."Akash walked to leave from there.Before leaving,he warned Ananya,"Main tumhe is janam mein divorce hargiz nehi dunga.Yaad rakhna meri ye baat.Tum sirf meri ho aur kisiki main tumhe hone nehi dunga."Saying he left.Ananya was so scared that she hugged Rohit.He consoled her and said,"Chalo Ananya ghar chalte hai.Dress kisi aur din kharid lenge."He took Ananya out of the mall.On reaching Ananya's apartment,Ananya said,"Main chali jaaungi Rohit aur please tum kisiko aaj ke baare mein kuch mat bolna varna sab aise hi pareshaan ho jaayenge."Rohit nodded his head and then left from there.

Rohit purchased his and Ananya's engagement attire himself and gifted her one to Ananya.On the day of the engagement,everyone reached the venue which was previously booked by Rohit.Rohit was extremely excited that day.He was waiting for Ananya.When Ananya arrived at the venue,she captured everyones eyes especially Rohit's.He could not take his eyes off from her and she was looking extremely angelic that day.Everyone in the hall congratulated the couples.All their colleagues were invited.When Ananya came to Rohit,he took her hand in his and kissed on her hand and said,"You are looking gorgeous Ananya.You know aaj mera bohot saalo ka sapna pura hone ja raha hai.Jab tumhaari shaadi hui thi na Akash ke saath tab mujhe laga tha ke mera pyar haar gaya,par aaj ye yakeen ho gaya hai ke sachcha pyar kabhi nehi haarta.Aaj meri zindagi ka bohot bara din hai."Ananya said,"Ha Rohit sachcha pyar kabhi nehi haarta.laakh tufaan ya aandhi usey torne ki koshish kare par vo kabhi nehi toottha.Tumse kahi zyaada khushi ka din to aaj mere liye hai kyuki aaj ke baad meri khushiyo ko kabhi kisiki nazar nehi lagegi."Rohit nodded his head.Ananya asked,"Par mujhe bohot dar lag raha hai Rohit kahi yaha Akash aa gaya to?I mean tumne dekha tha na usne usdin kaise mujhe dhamki di thi?"Rohit replied,"Don't worry maine yaha ke security ko uski ek photo de di hai aur kaha hai ke usey andar ghusne na de."One of Ananya's friends,interrupted them in the middle and said,"Aaj meri dost phir se apni zindagi ki ek nayi shuruwaat karne waali hai,to isliye main aaj tum dono ke surprise laaya hu aur vo bhi Delhi se.I hope tum dono ko bohot pasand aayega."He then pointed forwards and then the lights of the venue went dimmed.A dancer appeared in veil to present the dance before them.The waiters served drinks to everyone.When the lights appeared,the dancer removed the veil.The moment,she removed the veil,the drink in Rohit's hand slipped off and crashed on the ground.Ananya,Ajit and everyone enquired whether anything happened and also enquired about whether Rohit was injured,but Rohit totally went out of this world and none of anyones any words were reaching upto his brain,but he was constantly looking forward and droplets of sweat appeared on his forehead.

CHAPTER - 54

Rohit was looking all stunned towards the dancer.Ananya asked him with concern,"Kya hua Rohit?"Rohit was not in the state to reply but was constantly looking forward towards the dancer.Ananya followed his eyes and looked at the dancer.On seeing her,Ananya too remained stunned.She faintly uttered,"Maya???"Ananya almost ran to the dancer and caught hold of her.Maya was startled to see Ananya after 2.5 years.She asked,"Tum???"Ananya asked,"Tum yaha kya kar rahi ho?Meri pehli shaadi torkar tumhe chain nehi par jo tum ab meri ye shaadi torne ke liye bhi yaha aa gayi?"Maya looked at everyone in the hall.Sunil saw her and said,"Ye to Maya hai.Rohit ki pehli fiance aur isike vajah se Ananya ki bhi to shaadi tooti thi."All the colleagues of Ananya and Rohit were shocked to know the truth.Rohit immediately came running towards Ananya and grabbed Maya's arm and said,"Tumne Ananya ki shaadi tori,mera dil tora aur ab tum hamaari shaadi bhi torne yaha aa gayi.Main tumhe aisa kuch nehi karne dunga."Rohit dragged Maya and walked forward to throw her out of the hall.When he was about to cross the main door,all the security guards stopped them both.Rohit said,"Mujhe jaane do ya phir isko bahaar phek kar aao."The guard said,"Iam sorry sir par madam ne kaha hai yaha se abhi koi bahaar nehi ja sakta."Ananya said,"Ha Rohit abhi nehi.Abhi mujhe is aurat se bohot saare hisaab lene hai."She came to Maya and dragged her in the middle and asked,"Tum yaha kya kar rahi ho Maya?Tumhe to US mein hona chahiye tha nehi?"Ananya's friend asked,"Ye Maya hai?Par isey to main Delhi ke JALWA BAR se utha kar laaya tha?"Everyone were stunned to hear this.Ananya looked at her friend and asked,"Kya?Bar?Par Rohit to isey US mein mila tha?Ye to ek model hai?"Ananya's friend replied,"Model???Ye???Ye to us bar mein dance karti hai."Ananya was shocked to hear this.Maya was very scared of everything.She said to Ananya's friend,"K-k-kaun Maya?M-m-main kisi Maya vaya ko nehi jaanti.Oh-oh saab yaha kya apna ye family drama dikhaane lekar aaye ho mujhe?"Ananya was shocked again to hear her language.She asked,"Tumhe to hindi bhi thik se bolni nehi aati thi phir aisi bhasha kaha se seekhi?"Rohit said,"Iska matlab tum fraud thi?Tumne mujhe itna bara dhoka diya?Just get lost from here Maya."Ananya said,"Abhi nehi."Ananya grabbed Maya's arm and slapped her tightly.She asked,"Bata tu asliyat mein dikh gaya."Ananya leaved her and gave a look to Rohit.Maya replied,"Tu ne sahi kaha memsaab,main hi is shaane ki item Maya thi,par mera asli naam Laila hai Laila.Tu mere se kya puchti hai,isse puch,yehi to lekar gaya tha mujhe waha Maya banaake."Everyone with shocked expressions turned towards Rohit.Ananya asked,"Kya bakwaas hai?Rohit aisa kyu karega?Jhut mat bol tu?"Laila replied,"Main kyu
