CHAPTER - 49
Akash and Ananya both yelled together,"What???"Rohit and Maya both got confused.Rohit asked,"Kyu kya ho gaya?"Akash said,"Kya ho gaya?Abey tune apne liye larki pasand kar li aur mujhe bataya bhi nehi?Ha ab to tu mujhe dost manta hi nehi hai."Rohit asked,"Tum dono ke relation ke baare mein mujhe kabhi kisine bataya tha?"Ananya asked,"Badla le rahe ho us baat ka?"Rohit replied,"Badla nehi le raha hu kisi se bhi.Actually jab pichli baar US gaya tha to isse ek party mein mulaakat hui,tab hum achche dost bane the.Tab maine ye socha bhi nehi tha ke hum ek dusre ke itne kareeb aa jaayenge.Ye to jab main is baar gaya tha tab ek dusre ke saath humne dher saara time spend kiya phir mujhe laga ke mujhe apne is rishte ko dosti ke aagey baraana chahiye.I proposed her and she agreed.Phir humne apne gharwaalo se baat ki aur vo maan gaye."Ananya asked,"Kaun kaun hai tumhaare family mein Maya?"Rohit said,"Isey utni achchi hindi nehi aati hai."Ananya said,"Iam so sorry...Who are there in your family?"Maya replied,"Oh..you don't have to be sorry.I understand hindi just because of Rohit..but I can't speak well.Actually my mom was Indian and my dad was American.Now both got divorced and I live with my brother."Ananya said,"Don't worry main tumhe achchi hindi sikha dungi."Maya smiled and said,"Shu...shuk...riya."Everyone laughed at her pronounciation.Maya became confused and asked,"Did I do any mistake?"Akash replied,"No...But just pronounciation problem.Well that can be settled."Ananya invited Rohit and Maya in their home for dinner that night.
At night,when they arrived,Ananya and Akash made all the dinner arrangements.Both welcomed Rohit and Maya.Maya,on seeing their home commented,"So simple decoration but still it looks so special and so sober.I think this is the magic of love.By the way Rohit told me that you both are perfect for each other,but now I think its so true,because you people really look best with each other."Ananya smiled and thanked her.While Ananya was cooking taking out the dishes from the shelf.Akash suddenly held her by her waist.Ananya was startled but she didn't scream as if she knew that he would come.She said,"Shona bahaar guest bethe hai aur tum yaha mere saath badmaashi karne chale aaye.Ye bilkul bhi achchi baat nehi hai aur Rohit kya sochega ke biwi kya aayi tum apne dost ko bhul gaye."Akash said,"Arey tum bhi na kaisi silly baate karti ho biwi.Arey jaise main tumhaare saath thori shaitaani karne yaha chala aaya thik vaise hi Rohit bhi apni setting ke saath vohi kar raha hoga.Jaise hum dono karte hai,vaise hi un dono ko bhi to romance karne ka mauka milna chahiye na.Main to indirectly unka bhala hi kar raha hu."Ananya said,"Ha ha duniya bhar ke logo ka bhala karne ka theka aapne hi to le kar rakkha hai,patidev ji."Akash naughtily said,"To tumhi mera bhala kardo na ek kiss ke saath."They were trying to be a bit intimate,when someone cleared her throat.Akash and Ananya turned and found Maya standing there.Three of them were a little bit embarrassed.Maya said,"Am...sorry...I just wanted some water..."Ananya said,"Ha ha zarur."She glared at Akash and he left from there.Maya said,"Your husband is such a sweet guy.He loves you a lot.Rohit told me that you both had a love marriage.Akash is a very lovely guy.I hope Rohit too would be like him."Ananya said,"No.Mere Akash jaisa is purey dunia mein koi aur nehi ho sakta.Vo ek hi hai aur sirf aur sirf mera hai."Maya smiled.She helped her in arranging for the dinner.In the dinner table,4 of them chatted a lot.Before Maya and Rohit left,Rohit said,"Ananya pura na sahi par Maya ko thora apne jaisa zarur banana I mean...usey yaha ke taur tareeke zara seekha dena,After all larkiya hi larkio ko zyaada achche se samajhti hai."Ananya said,"Don't worry,maine agar usey aadhey se pura Indian nehi banaya to mera naam bhi Ananya Ra...Mrs Ananya Akash Saluja nehi."Maya said,"Ya of course.Here in India,I think I can only trust you even much more than Rohit."Both the ladies laughed.Akash said to Rohit,"Dekha beta Rohit,aisa hi hota hai.Hum mardo ki koi aukaad hi nehi hoti inke saamne."Ananya and Akash walked with them till Rohit's car and then they left and Ananya and Akash returned to their apartment.
Days passed by and Ananya and Maya became very good friends.Maya also befriend Akash.One day,Maya came to Rohit's office,as she took care of the fashion magazine of the newspaper office which was newly launched as an addition to the fame of the newspaper agency.She went to Akash's cabin where he was working alone.She said to him,"Hi Akash I need your help."He asked her to sit.She said,"Actually my PC suddenly got stuck,I was doing an important project in here.Rohit told me that you are very good in computers,so please dig me out of this problem."Akash took the laptop and sat on the sofa.Maya too sat beside him.She was watching everything with keen interest and slowly unknown to both,they drew very close to each other.At that moment,Ananya came in and was shocked to find them in that posture.Both Akash and Maya were startled.Maya said,"Hi Ananya...oh...actually my laptop was having a problem,so I came here."Ananya gave her an awkward smile.Akash returned the laptop to Maya and said,"Tumhaara laptop thik ho gaya hai.Its all fine."Maya bid bye to both of them and then left from there.Ananya though smiled but still felt very uncomfortable.
One day,4 of them went to hang out.Ananya did a lot of shopping for Maya in Indian garments and purchased a number of suits and sarees.Rohit said to Akash,"Shaadi se pehle hi mujhe kangaal bana rahi hai,to bhagwaan hi jaane shaadi ke baad mera kya hoga."Akash teased,"Is maamle mein main tujhse zyaada lucky kyuki meri waali local made hai,par teri to imported hai."While choosing dresses,Maya asked,"What is Akash's favourate colour?"Ananya was surprised at her question.She asked,"Why?"Maya replied,"Because his choice is always best since he chose you."Ananya became happy as well as a bit disturbed.While returning home,all had dinner outside.Rohit gave the treat on the occasion of fixing of his and Maya's engagement.While having drink,Akash's glass slipped from his hand and by mistake it fall on his shirt and before Ananya could pick up the tissue paper,Maya picked up one and started cleaning his shirt.Ananya,in her heart became very angry but she didn't react.
From quite a few days,Ananya found Maya and Akash together in a very unwanted situation and position.Earlier she took it casually,but gradually it became unbearable to her.One day,after returning from office,Ananya was very disturbed.Akash tried to talk with her.He asked,"Kya hua biwi main dekh raha hu aajkal tum bohot ukhri ukhri rehti ho.What happened?Any problem?"Ananya replied,"Dekho Akash main jaanti hu ye baat bohot ajeeb lagegi tumhe par...par mujhe ye Maya bilkul achchi nehi lag rahi hai aajkal."Akash was confused.He asked,"Kya?Par pehle to tumhi uski sabse bari fan thi?"Ananya replied,"Ha main maanti hu,par aajkal mujhe uski harkate bilkul bhi achchi nehi lag rahi hai."Akash asked,"Par kyu?"She replied,"Kyuki aajkal vo Rohit se zyaada tumpar interest lene lagi hai aur jo mujhe bilkul bhi pasand nehi hai."Akash said,"Par Ananya vo bas hamaari ek achchi dost hai aur kuch nehi aur vaise bhi jo kuch bhi tumne dekha hai that was just an accident that's it."Ananya impatiently replied,"Mujhe nehi pata,mujhe kuch nehi pata hai Akash.Main bas ek hi cheez jaanti hu ke mujhe uska tumhaare yu nazdeek aana mujhe achcha nehi lagta hai."Akash wrapped his arms around her neck and asked,"Umm...Jealous???"Ananya put her hand on his hand and replied,"Jealousy,kaho,ya pyar ya obsession,lekin agar koi meri jagah lene ke liye ek kadam bhi aagey baraayega na to main uske per kaat kar phek dungi."Akash could not believe what he heard.He could never think that Ananya could say something like that.Ananya understood his feelings and so she replied,"Tum kya samajhte ho deewano jaisa pyar karna sirf tumhe hi aata hai.No,bilkul nehi.Tum ye soch bhi nehi sakte ho ke main kis hadh tak ja sakti hu.Filhaal..."She removed his hands from her neck and said,"Fresh ho jaao.Main khaana banaane ja rahi hu."Saying she left from there leaving Akash staring at her.He said,"Meri sherni!"He smiled.
CHAPTER - 50
Time passed by and soon Maya and Rohit got engaged.Meanwhile one of Ananya's cousin's alliance was also fixed at Delhi and so it was planned that the marriage will also held at Ananya's home.Ananya now became even more busy with both her families.She used to go to her home after the office and return to Akash's apartment a bit late and then both Akash and Ananya used to have dinner together.Ananya's cousin was having her haldi ceremony,so Ananya had to go there.She said to Akash,"Shona aaj main shaayad na bhi laut sakti hu raat ko to please tum khaana garam karke kha lena.Ok?"Akash made a face and looked at her.She asked,"Kya hua?"He replied,"Yu tum har roz mujhe chorkar chali jaati ho apni behen ke shaadi ke tayyario mein.Shaadi se pehle tum kaise mujhse milne ke bahaane dhundhti thi aur ab tum to mujhe bhao hi nehi deti."Ananya said,"Main tumhe bhao nehi deti?Ye bohot galat hai ha.That's not fare.Tum bhi to har roz jaate ho Rohit aur Maya ke saath masti karne,main to tumhe tab kuch nehi kehti."He still kept on making face.Ananya wrapped his neck with her arms and said,"Aww mela shona gussa ho gaya?Usko gussa bhi karna aata hai?Kitna cute lagta hai mera baby gusse mein."Akash said,"Ok ok ab zyaada mujhe makkhan lagaane ki zarurat nehi hai."Ananya said,"Thik hai nehi jaati main."Akash said,"Arey nehi main to mazaak kar raha tha.Vo actually kya hai na shaadi ke baad tumse zyaada der tak dur raha nehi hu na main,isiliye."Ananya said,"Ok shona aur phir kuch hi dino ki to baat hai.Ek baar shaadi ho jaaye to main bhi free aur phir mere ghar mein aajkal tumhaari kadar zyaada hai.Jab bhi jaati hu saare rishtedaar puchte hai jamairaja' kaha hai,vo aajkal nehi dikhte aur tumhe pata hai vaha kitni saari larkiya hai,kya pata kahi unme se kisine tumhe nazar laga liya to."Akash replied,"Achcha achcha chalo,abhi bhaiya ki haldi ki rasam ki bhi to tayyari karni hai.Chalo main tumko chord eta hu."Saying Ananya and Akash both left.
When Ananya and Akash reached in front of her house,she said,"Ek baar andar aakar sabse mil lo.Sab puchte hai hamesha tumhaare baare mein."Akash entered inside and on seeing him,everyone welcomed them.Madhu said,"Arey arey dekho meri beti aur damaad aaye hai."Akash took all the elder's blessings and Madhu said,"Arey beta shaadi ke baad kabhi kabhi sasural bhi aana parta hai.Tum to yahaka raasta hi bhul gaye."Akash said,"Kya karu ma aapki beti se fursat miley tab to kisi aur cheez ke baare mein sochunga na."Ananya blushed and one of the ladies said,"Kya kismat hai teri Madhu jo tujhe aisa damaad mila.Kitna pyar karta hai teri beti se."Ajit said,"Kyu nehi aakhir meri beti hai hi aisi."Akash went towards Ananya's cousin and congratulated her and she thanked him.After that,Akash took leave.Ananya came outside with him.Akash sat on his bike and grabbed Ananya's hand and said,"Ek kiss dedo na."She looked here and there and glared at him and said,"Mera haath choro sab dekhenge."He said,"Ek.Bas ek."Ananya said,"Bilkul bhi nehi."He angrily leaved her hand and said,"Sahi kehte hai,larkiya jab girlfriend rehti hai,tabhi bohot achchi rehti hai par ek baar biwi ban jaati hai to bas.Huh!Choro nehi chahiye."Akash started his bike.Ananya stared at him for sometime and then kissed on his cheeks and asked,"Ab thik hai?"He gave a wide smile and nodded his head.Ananya was about to say something,but Akash said,"Ha ha yaad hai.Office pohochkar phone kar dunga.Canteen ka khaana nehi khaaunga sirf tumhaara banaya hua lunch hi karunga aur tum mujhe lunch time par phone karogi."Ananya patted on his back and said,"Good boy!Chalo bye!"Saying she turned to go.Akash called her and said,"Par tum kuch bhul rahi ho biwi."Ananya said,"Ha ha yaad hai par isse pehle ke tum mujhe bolo,main tumhe kehti hu I love you 2 3 4."Akash turned his head and said,"And I love you more than anything else in this world."Saying he left.
In the lunch time,Ananya called Akash.The convo :-
An :- "Khaana khaaya?"
Ak :- "Abhi khaane betha hu."
An :- "Kya kar rahe the?"
Ak :- "Tumhaare phone ka intezaar kar raha tha.Abhi soch raha tha ke tumhaara phone aayega aur dekho tumhaara phone aa bhi gaya."
An :- "Achcha zyaada maska mat lagaao."
Ak :- "Tumhaari kasam biwi.Achcha suno na,haldi ka function achche se ho gaya na."
An :- "Ha ho gaya ab main bhi khaana khaane bethi hu."
Ak :- "Meri sasuma ko zara kehna ke tumhe bhi thori achche se haldi lagaaye aur uske baad kaala tika."
Ananya blushed.
An :- "Achcha ab main rakhti hu,bye.Bohot saare log hai yahape."
Ak :- "Pehle I love you bolo varna baar baar phone karne pareshaan karunga."
An :- (whispered) "I love you.Bye."
She cut the phone and Akash said,"Aaj bhi mujhe bolne nehi diya.But I love you too."He put the phone inside his pocket and started eating his lunch.
At night,Ananya couldnot sleep properly since she was now accustomed to sleep with Akash.In early morning almost 5am,her sleep broke and he got up on the bed and found Shefali sleeping like a dog.Ananya pulled Shefali up.She asked,"Kya didi itne subhe subhe aap mujhe kyu utha rahi ho?"Ananya replied,"Main ghar ja rahi hu Akash ko dekhne.Pata nehi usne mere ghar ka meri gairmoujudgi mein kya haal banakar rakkha hoga."Shefali lughed and said,"Ye kaho na ke jiju ke bina neend nehi aati hai."Ananya replied,"Tujhe jo samajhna hai samajh,main chalti hu aur don't worry jaldi hi waapas aa jaaungi."Saying she got ready and left.
When she reached home,she thought of ringing the bell,but then thought of giving him a surprise and also with a greed of watching his sleeping face.Akash always used to lock the door before sleeping and Ananya always used to carry the duplicate key with her.She opened the door and entered inside.She looked at the hall and disappointedly nodded her head and said,"Pata tha mujhe mere ghar ka yehi haal banaayega vo.Abhi uski khabar leti hu."Ananya walked towards her bedroom and rotated the knob to open it.When the door opened,she was going to scream to Akash,but the scene,the breathtaking scene which unfolded before her,took away her voice.She stared and stared in that direction as if time itself had stopped there.Her voice died in her throat.The whole earch appeared to be shaking under her feet and everything around her was moving.She could not control more and was about to fall,but held the handle of the door and controlled herself from falling.It took a long time for Ananya to digest whatever happening in front of her and tears started falling from her eyes.Akash,in front of her was sleeping on his bed,but to Ananya's utmost shock,he was sleeping with none other than Maya,Rohit's fiance covering with the same blanket and all their clothes were lying on the ground.At last,her state of shock turned into extreme anger and she yelled,"Akash!!!"Hearing her scream,Akash and Maya,both of them woke up.Akash woke up grabbing his head.Just the moment,he opened his eyes,he found Ananya standing at the door with extreme rage.After that he looked at his condition and then found someone sobbing behind him.He turned his head with a jerk and to his extreme surprise found Maya covering herself with the blanket and crying.He yelled,"What the hell are you doing here Maya?"Ananya was so angry on both of them that she pulled Maya down from the bed and asked,"What are you doing in my bedroom and with my husband?"Maya replied,"Ask him what he did last night with me."Ananya asked,"Kya ho raha hai ye sab?Ho kya raha hai ye mere ghar mein?"Akash replied,"Mujhe nehi pata Ananya,ye sab kya hai aur ye kab aayi yahapar."Maya said,"He won't remember also,what he did with me last night because he was totally drunk.Me,Rohit and he went to the club for a cocktail party.He drank a little bit more.Rohit had some work,so he told me to drop him in his apartment.I came to drop him and then as we entered inside in his bedroom,he suddenly locked the door and said since Ananya was not there,no one will be stopping him and then he hugged me tightly.I tried to stop him but he was too strong for me and then he pushed me on the bed.I tried to restrict him,but I failed and he...and he...he made love with me."Ananya could not hear that and slapped her tightly on her face.Akash said,"Nehi ye jhut bol rahi hai.Main manta hu ke maine kal drink kiya tha par maine aisa kuch nehi kiya Ananya trust me."Maya said,"I know he is your husband and you'll believe him only.But trust me,I didn't do anything."Akash said,"Mera yakeen karo Ananya maine kuch nehi kiya."Ananya went near him and put his hand on her head and said,"Meri kasam kha kar kaho ke tumne kuch nehi kiya."Akash said,"Tumhaari kasam."Maya said,"Akash has a mark on his waist right?"Ananya turned towards her and looked at her surprisingly and asked,"How you know?"Maya gave her a look.Ananya turned towards him and said,"Tumne meri jhuti kasam khaayi Akash?How dare you?How could you?"Ananya was so mad at him that she started breaking everything in the house.Akash somehow managed to go inside the washroom and put on his dress.After that he came out and tried to stop her.Ananya cried out,"Maine tumse itna pyar kiya,tumpar sabse zyaada bharosa kiya aur tumhine mere saath aisa kiya?Kyu kiya aisa Akash?Kaha kaunsi kami reh gayi thi mere pyar mein?Kyu kiya aisa?Kyu?"Akash kept on pleading,"Maine kuch nehi kiya Ananya I swear."Ananya barked,"To phir isey kaise pata ke tumhaare kamar par mark hai?Bolo?"He replied,"Mujhe nehi pata kuch bhi."She said,"Tumhaare liye maine apni ma se jhagra kiya,ghar chor diya ye din dekhne ke liye.Chee!Ghinn aa rahi hai aaj mujhe apne aap se nafrat ho rahi hai."She called Vidit over phone and asked him to come there immediately.Ananya wiped her tears and then started packing her bags.Akash kept on pleading to believe him.Maya too put on her dresses.Ajit arrived shortly and then enquired about everything.Ananya told him,but he refused to believe.He said,"Impossible!Akash aisa kar hi nehi sakta."Ananya asked,"Aapko apni beti par bharosa nehi hai?"He replied,"Aisi baat nehi hai par kahi kuch galti ho rahi hai.I trust Akash."Ananya said,"Kaano suni baat par main yakeen nehi karti bhaiya par aakho dekhi baat ko kaise jhutla du.I want to go home.Is dhokebaaz insaan ke saath main ab ek pal bhi nehi reh sakti."Akash said,"Pap samjhaiye na Ananya ko."Ananya asked,"Aap chal rahe hai ya nehi pap?"Vidit said to Akash,"Abhi jaane de main usko samjhaaunga.Pata hai na kitni gussewaali hai."Akash unwantedly nodded his head.Ananya stepped outside her house and looked inside it.Her eyes fall on Akash and both had tears in their eyes.Ananya slammed the door on his face and left.

As ordered by Ajit,Ananya didn't speak anything to her family and Akash too didn't attend the marriage and Ajit lied to his family saying Akash's boss send him to some work outside Delhi.All were sad thinking their only son-in-law didn't attend the marriage.When all the family rituals were over,one day Madhu enquired about what happened with Ananya since she always avoids talking about Akash.Ananya at that time too avoided.But Madhu didn't leave her.Ananya couldn't say anything but just cried and Ajit slowly told them everything.On hearing the truth,Madhu dashed on the chair and said,"Hey bhagwaan!Ye kya ho gaya meri beti ke saath?Maine kaha tha ke is larke se meri beti ki shaadi mat karwaao,par nehi na to is larki ne aur naahi is ghar mein kisine meri ek bhi baat maani.Karaadi meri marzi ke khilaaf iski shaadi.Maine kabhi dil se usko nehi apnaaya tha par sirf apni beti ki khushi ke khaatir chup thi.Par dekha na kya hua?"Ananya was quietly shedding her tears.Madhu went to her and said,"Ma ke dil ko chot pohchaakar aajtak koi bhi aulaad sukhi nehi ho saki hai."Ajit said,"Ab chup karo na Madhu.Dekho zara iski haalat.Pata nehi kitne dino se is dard ko chupa rahi hai humse.Iski haalat to samajhne ki koshish karo.Bajaaye iske ke tum isey dilaasa do iska sahara bano,isey sunaaye ja rahi ho tabse."Ajit said to Ananya,"Dekh beta tu apne pati ko mujhse zyaada achche se jaanti hai aur samajhti hai,par jahatak maine usko jaana hai,vo aisa kabhi nehi kar sakta."Ananya said,"Main aisa samajhti thi papa,par aakhe bandh kar lene se sach jhut mein nehi badal jaayega.Main khud apni aakho se dekha hai,meri jagah kisi usey kisi aur ko dete huye."Shefali,at that moment,called everyone.When they turned,they found Akash was standing there.Everyone were shocked to see him.Before anyone could say anything,Madhu yelled,"Kyu aay hai tu yaha?Meri beti ki zindagi barbaad karke tujhe sukoon nehi mila kya?"Akash replied,"Main Ananya ki kasam kha kar kehta hu ma maine kuch nehi kiya.Aisi harkat karna to dur main aisa karne ke baare mein soch bhi nehi sakta."Madhu asked,"To kya meri beti jhut bol rahi hai?"Akash replied,"Main manta hu jo usne dekha vo sach tha par vo pura sach nehi tha.Maine Maya ke saath raat nehi guzaari hai."Ananya asked,"Tum to nashe mein the na phir tumhe yaad kaise hai ke tumne kya kiya aur kya nehi?"Akash became speechless.He said,"Sach hai ke mujhe kuch bhi yaad nehi hai par phir bhi itna to main keh hi sakta hu."Ananya turned her face out of disgust.Akash walked towards each and every members of the family and tried to persuade them.At last,he came to Ananya and held her hands and asked,"Ek baar apne dil se pucho Ananya,kya tumhe lagta hai tumhaara Akash aisa kar sakta hai?"Ananya removed her hands and said,"Kabhi kabhi dimaag dil par itna haavi ho jaata hai Akash ke hum chahkar bhi sach ko jhutla nehi sakte hai."Akash had tears in his eyes.He said,"Mere paas apni begunaahi saabit karne ke liye aaj sivaay apne sach ke aur kuch nehi hai Ananya.Please mera vishwaas karo."Ananya said,"Tumme sharam lihaaz naam ki koi cheez abhi tak baaki nehi hai na Akash.Itna sab kuch ho jaane ke baad bhi tum mujhse maafi chahte ho.Chee!Mujhe to sochte huye bhi sharam aa rahi hai ke maine tum jaise aadmi se shaadi ki.Arey maine tum jaise aadmi se pyar kaise kar liya?Ma bilkul sahi kehti thi tumhaare baare mein,par maine kabhi kisiki baat nehi suni.Maine tumhaare liye apne family tak ko chor diya aur badle mein tumne mujhe ye diya Akash?Sahi hai,aaj mujhe tumse pyar aur apni ma ke dil ko dukhaane ki sazaa mili hai."Akash was about to say something,but Madhu stopped him and said,"Itna sab kuch ho jaane ke baad bhi tu yaha khara hai?Chal nikal yaha se.Meri beti ki zindagi bohot barbaad kar chuka hai tu ab maaf kar hume.Nikal!"Saying Madhu started pulling Akash's hand but Ananya stopped her and said,"Ma Akash jo bhi hai,jaisa bhi hai,abhi bhi mera pati hai aur maine abhi tak apne pati ki beizzati karne ka haq kisiko nehi diya hai.Samajhme aayi baat?"She then said to Akash,"Please chale jao yaha se Akash.Mujhe na to tumse koi baat karni hai aur naahi main is tarah se tumhe beizzat hote huye dekh paaungi.Please go!"Akash helplessly looked towards Ajit and he too nodded his head.Akash slowly started walking out of the house.Before stepping out,he turned back for once to see Ananya.Ananya ran to her bedroom and peeped at the road through the window.Both saw each other.Akash made a shape of heart with his fingers,but Ananya,in order to be strong closed the window and leaned on the wall.After that,she covered her mouth with her dupatta and cried her heart out.
Few days passed by and Akash and Ananya didn't have any single conversation.Everyday,questions of neighbours about why Ananya was staying in her home,was torturing and irritating Ananya,so she decided to run away from all these things.She applied for a job in Mumbai,whose interview was taken in Delhi and she was selected.One day,Akash went to Shefali's college and met her.Shefali said,"Jiju bhale hi didi na maane par main maanti hu ke aap ne kuch nehi kiya hai."Akash said,"Thanks Shefali.Vaise main tumhaari didi ka kuch samaan laaya tha jo vo vaha bhul gayi thi."He gave a box to Shefali and said,"Isme tumhaari didi ka chuda aur kuch make up ka samaan hai.Yaad se usey de dena.Main to usey ye de nehi sakta kyuki vo to meri shakal bhi nehi dekhna chahti hai."Shefali took the box and said,"Jiju didi ko Mumbai mein ek job mil gayi hai aur ab vo vahi chali jaayegi."Akash gave a sad smile and said,"Vo mujhse aur hamaare yaado se bhaagne ki koshish kar rahi hai.Usko jo achcha lagta hai usko karne do."Shefali was surprised.She asked,"Jiju vo aapko chor kar ja rahi hai aap unhe rokenge nehi?"Akash replied,"Nehi yaha rahegi to usey kabhi chain nehi milega.Vo to mujhe bohot pehle hi chor kar ja chuki hai.Ab jaise rehne se usko achcha lagta hai,usey vaise hi rehne do.Main bas usey khush dekhna chahta hu.Main chalta hu Shefali,bye."Akash left from there.Shefali said,"Agar kahi par bhagwaan sach mein hai,to please meri didi aur jiju ko please alag mat karna."Shefali gave a sigh.
Shefali,on returning gave the box to Ananya and said,"Vaise to ye sab tumhaare liye bilkul hi bekaar cheeze hai,kyuki jab pati hi pati nehi raha to suhaag ki nishaaniyo ka koi matlab nehi rehta.Main to kehti hu phek do inhe ya phir jala do kyuki apni shaadi ki aahuti to tum dekar hi aayi ho."Ananya said,"Bakwaas bandh kar Shefali aur ja yaha se." Shefali said,"Sach mein didi,aaj jab ji-sorry vo insaan jab tumhaara pati hi nehi raha to mere jiju kaha se honge.aaj jab vo college aaye the na ye saara samaan dene to jee mein aa raha tha ke unke muh par maar du aur jab maine unse kaha ke aap ja rahi ho to unhone kaha ke jaane do Ananya ko,unko bas aapki khushi se hi matlab hai.Ye saari baate sunkar na mera dil kar raha tha ke purey college ke saamne unko itna-"Ananya slapped on Shefali's face and said,"Bandh kar muh apna!Tabse bole hi ja rahi hai.Bhul mat vo abhi bhi mera pati hai."Shefali,with tears in her eyes asked,"Agar itna pyar karti ho to ja kyu rahi ho unko chorkar?"Ananya too had tears in her eyes.She dashed on her bed and said,"Kyuki mujhe yaha nehi rehna hai.Main yaha ki har cheez se dur jaana chahti hu."Shefali said,"Jaana chahti ho to rokungi nehi didi par ek baat yaad rakhna insaan har cheez se to bhaag sakta hai par apne aap se kabhi nehi aur didi jiju aapke dil mein hai.Aap apne dil se kaise bhaagengi?"Saying she left Ananya crying on her fate.
Akash's mental condition detoriated day by day.He left Delhi and went to Gurgaon to his mother.Damini was very worried for her son.He talked as much less as possible and always used to sit inside his bedroom.Whenever Damini talked with Akash about Ananya and urged to meet with Ananya,he used to stop her and requested her not to disturb Ananya.Damini talked with Gautam and told him everything. Gautam also supported that the relation has destroyed to such an extent that it would be useless to talk with Ananya and also said that to allow them to live separately,as they need time and time will heal everything.He talked with Akash also and then told his mother to send him to US,so that his mind remains diverted as it would not be very good for him to stay in Delhi.Damini thought that to be better option and decided to send Akash to his father in US.After a lot of persuading,Akash finally agreed.Within a few days,Gautam send Akash the tickets for US and Akash started packing.While packing,he didn't forget to take Ananya's photos.He sat on the bed and was continuously stared at her photo.

Akash kept the photos of Ananya and some of their joint photos on the bed.After that,he started keeping them one by one inside his bag.He then took the photo of their marriage and his tear drop fall on the photo.

Damini came to his room to help him and found him looking at their photo.She put her hand on his shoulder.Akash came out of his dreams wiped his tears.Damini cupped his face and Akash hugged her.

It was raining heavily,but a day ago before Akash's flight,he went to Ananya's home to see her for once.Ananya was also leaving Delhi on the same day.Her flight was on day and Akash's was at night.While,Ananya was packing her bag,she felt something very strange in her heart.She went towards the window and opened it and found Akash standing outside and continuously staring at her drenching in the rain.She too stared at him.Suddenly she remembered if Akash gets wet for a long time,he captures cold.She immediately searched for an umbrella and was about to go out,but then she remembered about Akash's misdeed and calls Shefali and asked her to go to him with the umbrella.Shefali obeys her and went to Akash.Akash sees Shefali coming out of the umbrella and after she came to him,he asked,"Kya main itna bura pati hu Shefali ke tumhaari didi khud na aake tumhe bhej diya?"Shefali replied,"Vo aapse bohot pyar karti hai jiju.Please kuch karo na."He sadly smiled and started at the window.

Akash said,"Main bhi kal US ja raha hu Shefali aur isiliye jaane se pehle tumhaari didi ko ek baar dekhna chahta tha.Maine dekh liya,ab main chalta hu.Apni did ko bolna main use bohot pyar karta hu."Saying,he again looked upwards to Ananya's window and found she was staring at him.He gave a fade smile to her and started walking back.

Next day,in the morning,Ananya left for Mumbai and Akash too left home for airport,at night.On his way,he was looking blankly outside the window of the taxi.

He came out of the taxi and started dragging his bag inside the airport.

After completing all the formalities,Akash boarded towards the flight.

Akash wiped his tears while looking at Ananya's photo in his wallet.

Akash's flight landed next day morning.After completing all the formalities,when he came out of the airport,he found Gautam standing there.Akash somehow controlled hois tears on seeing him.Gautam said,"Pehle ghar chal fir baat karenge."Akash all the way reamined silent and when he reached home,he at first hugged his father tightly and cried his heart out and said,"Sab kuch khatam ho gaya dad.Maine apna pyar kho diya."Gautam replied,"Nehi beta bilkul nehi.Kuch nehi hoga tu hausla rakh sab kuch thik ho jaayega.Thora waqt de usey aur apne aap ko,Waqt har zakhm ka marham hota hai."Gautam said,in his mind,"Main tujhe meri tarah apna pyar kho kar jeene nehi dunga.Tum dono ko ek saath aana hi hoga.You both have to."Gautam made a determined face and took Akash to his room.
