CHAPTER - 5

Ananya rushed to the airport as fast as she could and then after parking her car,she came out of it and ran inside the airport.The airport was filled up with police and army and all the other passengers and the flights had also been cancelled and so there was a huge chaos everywhere.In the midst of all this,Ananya somehow reached the ATC room and then asked,"Vo pehli abroad ki flight hijack ho gayi hai?"Everyone turned and were shocked to see Ananya there.Rohit was also there and he was confused on seeing her and asked,"Ananya tum yaha kya kar rahi ho?"She replied,"Rohit Inde airlines ka ek flight hijack ho gaya hai.Usme bohot saare log aur yaha tak ke hamaare do pilots bhi trapped hai,to aise mein main ghar mein kaise beth sakti hu?"Rohit replied,"Do din baad hamaari shaadi hai aur aaj tum yaha..."Ananya,ignoring him,asked the ATC chief,"Dono pilots kaise hai?Captain Akash...vo thik to hai na?"She tried to confirm about the status of Akash and the chief replied,"Dono thik hai aur hijackers aapne ek aadmi ko un sab ke badle churaana chahte hai isiliye ye flight hijack kiya gaya hai.Humne already intelligence aur army ko yaha bula liya hai."Rohit said to Ananya,"Ananya tum abhi ghar jaao,in sab mein tumhe aane ki koi zarurat nehi hai and try to understand tum meri hone waali biwi ho aur aise shaadi se pehle yu..."In a firm tone,ANanya told Rohit,"No Rohit!!Not today!!Main yaha se kahi nehi jaaungi aur khaas kar ye jaanne ke baad ke Captain Akash bhi us flight mein hai,main to ja hi nehi sakti hu.Ye vohi Captain Akash hai jinhone mujhe Jaipur hostage situation se bachaya tha,apni jaan ki parvaah kiye bina.Aaj Captain Akash ki jaan khatre mein hai to aise mein main kaise peeche hat sakti hu?"Rohit asked,"To tum kya karogi?"Ananya replied,"Main unki madat karungi."At that moment,DIB chief,Akash's boss alongwith with an army chief came to the ATC and gathered all necessary information.On seeing Akash's boss,Ananya asked,"Aap???Aap to vohi Goa waale doctor hai na jinhone Captain Akash ka waha treatment kiya tha?"He replied,"Yes Miss Rawat aur main DIB ka chief hu and Akash mera sabse efficient officer hai."He looked at everyone and then replied,"Hamaari government se baat ho gayi hai aur itne saare VIP's ke badle vo us aadmi ko chorne ke liye tayyar hai.Aap please ye information flight mein pohcha dijiye."The ATC chief conveyed the message into the flight and then the hijackers replied that they had to bring that man in a private jet and then with this private jet,all the hijackers alongwith that man will fly away.The DIB chief agreed and alongwith some of his officers and army,they all decided to fly to Mumbai.On hearing that,Ananya replied,"Main bhi chalungi aap logo ke saath."Rohit screamed,"Ananya are you nats???Tum waha kyu jaaogi??"Ananya said,"Maine kisise permission nehi maangi hai,main jaaungi aur ye mera aakhri faisla hai."The DIB chief said,"Hum koi picnic mein nehi ja rahe hai Miss Rawat,hum field par ja rahe hai."Ananya replied,"Main sab jaanti hu sir aur isiliye main jaana chahti hu."The army chief said,"She's out of her mind.Let's go!!"They were about to leave when suddenly Ananya found an opportunity and grabbed the DIB chief's gun and then pointed at him.Rohit grinned,"Ye kya kar rahi ho Ananya?"Ananya replied,"Vo jo mujhe karna chahiye.Aaj agar aisi situation na hoti to main shaayad itna bara step kabhi nehi uthaati.Mujhe Akash ko bachaana hai."Rohit gradually understood why Ananya was doing all these things.Ananya looked at the DIB and the army chief and said,"Agar aap log mujhe apne saath nehi lekar gaye to...to..."She pointed the gun at herself and then said,"To main apne aap ko shoot kar dungi aur iske zimmeddar aap log honge and I really mean it."She glared at everyone and the DIB chief said,"Listen Ananya ye mazaak nehi hai,ye loaded gun hai,Give that to me varna goli chal jaayegi."Ananya screamed,"To pehle mujhe lekar chaliye apne saath!!"They agreed and then asked Ananya to follow her.Before leaving,Ananya returned the engagement ring to Rohit and then apologized,"Iam sorry!!"Rohit just smiled sadly and asked,"Kya tumhe lagta hai ke Akash bhi tumse pyar karta hai?"Ananya replied,"Pehle nehi jaanti thi,par ab jaanti hu ke karta hai.Mujhe nehi pata ke main uske saath waapas lautungi ya nehi.Par agar uske saath jee nehi saki to kamsekam uske saath mar to sakti hu."She just smiled and then left from there.

While Ananya was on the flight with them,the DIB chief asked,"Miss Rawat aap jaanti hai na ke aap kya kar rahi hai?"Ananya replied,"Ji ha main jaanti hu ke main kya kar rahi hu."He said,"Iam just so shocked ke Akash tumhaari jaisi ziddi larki ke liye mujhse jhut bolta tha aur tumhe itna priority deta tha."Ananya replied,"Pehli baat,Akash aapka officer ho sakta hai,main bilkul nehi hu isliye apni ye boss giri aap usipar jhaariyega,mujhpar nehi."The man said,"Maine kaha tha usko ke tumse dur rahe taaki tum safe raho par uski shakal dekh kar mujhe bhi bohot bura lagta tha par now I realize ke maine usey tumse dur rehne ko kehkar bohot achcha kiya tha,varna tum mere sabse best officer ka dimaag kharaab kar deti."Ananya looked at him and was shocked on hearing what he said.She grinned,"Oh to aap hai,meri aur Akash ke love story ke main villain.Kis kitaab mein ye likha hai ke ek Defence Officer,pyar nehi kar sakta,uski khud ki family nehi ho sakti hai aur family ya pyar kisiki kamzori nehi hoti hai aur insaan apni khud ki kismat likhwa kar laata hai.Jab meri maut likhi hogi tabhi hogi,Akash ka mujhse dur rehne se iska koi talluk nehi hai.Tabhi main sochu Akash mujhse is tarah se kyu bartaav kar raha tha.Aap meri love story ke Amrish Puri ho,bichaara agar uski majburi na hoti to aaj mere aur Akash ki shaadi hoti."The army chief asked,"Kya mujhe koi bataayega ke ye sab kya baate ho rahi hai?"The DIB chief replied,"Kuch nehi ye larki paagal hai."Ananya replied,"Ji nehi main paagal nehi hu,main puri tarah apne hosh mein hu.Agar Akash ko kuch hua to aapka koi zyaada nuksaan nehi hoga par meri puri zindagi khatam ho jaayegi.Main waha Akash ko nehi apni zindagi bachaane ja rahi hu.Samjhe aap?"The DIB chief opted not to talk with Ananya anymore.

Inside the cockpit of the hijacked plane,Akash was looking at Ananya's photo in his wallet and then said in his mind,"Abhi tak to tumhaari shaadi se pehle ki saari rasme puri ho chuki hogi.Do hi dino mein shaayad mujhe tumhaare baare mein sochne tak ka haq nehi rahega...""Jab itna pyar karte ho Akash to tumhe usey jaakar bata dena chahiye tha."Akash came out of Ananya's thoughts and looked with a jerk towards Captain Vikas Rathore who was sitting next to him.He immediately put the wallet back in its place and then asked,"Main...main kuch sam-samjha nehi aap kya bol rahe hai?"Rathore smiled and replied,"Main baat karne ka andaaz pakarta hu Captain Akash,itna bewakuf na to main hu aur naahi aap.Aap achchi tarah se samajh rahe hai ke main kya baat kar raha hu.Par shaayad tasveer mein aap itne kho gaye the ke aap bhul gaye ke cockpit mein aap akele nehi hai."Akash was very embarrassed and Rathore put his hand on his shoulder and replied,"Akash tum mere colleague ke saath saath,mere bohot achche dost bhi ho.Maine dekha hai tum dono ko ek dusre se baat karte huye,tumhe hamesha uski taarif karte huye.I know that you love her aur I think she too,to tumhe usey bata dena chahiye tha,to shaayad aaj uski aur tumhaari shaadi ho rahi hoti."Akash replied,"Jo ho nehi sakta hai mujhe uske baare mein baat nehi karni hai Captain Rathore.Uski shaadi hone waali hai aur kisi aur ki hone waali biwi ke baare mein aisa sochna achcha nehi hota hai."Rathore laughed and replied,"Oh c'mon Akash tum to aise bol rahe ho jaise ke shaadi ho chuki hai aur vaise bhi kisine kaha hai jab hum koi cheez puri shiddat se maange to puri kaaynaat hume usse milaane ke liye jut jaati hai.You never know,kismat kab kya karvat lele."At that time,they heard a voice in the radio.It was the pilot of the aircraft in which Ananya was travelling.The convo :-

Pilot :- "Hullo Inde Airlines fligh ID 2877.Can you hear me?"

Akash :- "Yes I can hear you."

P :- "Hum jald hi Mumbai pohochne waale hai as the hijackers demanded us addmi ke saath.Hamaare saath hamaari team bhi hai."

Ak :- "Ok I'll inform them."

When Akash was just about to disconnect the call,he heard a voice which completely shocked him.

An :- "Akash!!Is that you??"

He could not believe his ears that it was Akash only.

Ak :- "Ananya???Is that you???

An :- "Ha main hu."

Ak :- (screamed)"What the hell are you doing there?"

An :- "Maine news mein dekha hai ke tum logo ka flight hijack ho gaya hai and so I could not stop myself from coming there."

Ak :- "Ae you mad??Tum jaanti bhi ho ke tum kya kar rahi ho??The plane is hijacked God damn it!!"

An :- (angrily) "Akash tum mujhpar aise chillao mat."

Ak :- "Chillau nehi to aur kya karu?Tumhaara dimaag kharaab ho gaya hai kya?Do din baad tumhaari shaadi hai aur Rohit kaha hai?"

An :- "Rohit Delhi mein hai aur main tumhaare paas aa rahi hu aur mujhe is baat se koi fark nehi parta hai ke waha situation kya hai."

Ak :- "Kyu kar rahi ho aisa?"

An :- "Maine tumse pucha tha kya ke Jaipur mein tum mujhe bachaane kyu aaye the?We'll be reaching there just don'tworry."

The call disconnected and Rathore replied,"Muddayi laakh bura chahe to kya hota hai,vahi hota hai jo manzur-e-khuda hota hai.Ye uparwaale ka faisla hai Akash,you can't change it."But Akash was in no mood to hear anything and he made a disturbed and worried face.
