She recollected the days of before they confessed their feelings to each other. Akash and Ananya had grown quite close to each other over the last few months they had been flying together especially after their trip to Mumbai where they had realized they not only like enjoyed each other's company but they had an attraction for each other which was beyond just friendship .Although they could not put a finger on it , they knew they were attracted to each other and they could not stay away from each other for long so they made up by going out on dates and getting close to each other with each passing day though there were occasional bouts of Akash disappearance but he was never gone for too long. The last time he disappeared was longest was for two days. After he came back he never called Ananya and rather rebuffed her for pursuing him constantly. He had gradually become cold and stiff towards Ananya.Ananya was not a fool not to realize that something was amiss so she tried the best strategy that she knew from the far and few soaps and movies she had seen "jealousy". During those days Rohit Mafatlal has taken over as the CEO of Inde Airlines just over a couple of weeks ago and he used to pay a lot of attention to Ananya since she was the first lady pilot and her passion for flying was really commendable. Ananya decided to use the opportunity to her benefit and started to get really friendly with Rohit especially if Akash was around.

Although sometimes she saw Akash's face muscles twitching but nothing moved beyond that , neither he tried to woo her back nor became angry with her. Ananya gradually started losing her patience and was really hurt by the way Akash was behaving. The distraction was affecting her professionally also as she was at times lost and her sharpness was falling. She had flown with Capt. Verma to Goa and he had expressed her surprise at Ananya's sloppiness during the flight as he had known a very focused and sharp Ananya. Capt. Verma had then spoken to her and told her to get rid of whatever was bothering her and bring herself back to what she was. She knew Capt Verma was right and since Akash was also in Goa and was put up in the same place, Ananya decided once for all to sort out things. If Akash has decided to call it quits then she had no other option but to move on. The realization had hit her badly and she had cried her heart out in the hotel room badly. Since it was New Year's Eve and Rohit Mafatlal was also in Goa put up in the same hotel, he had thrown a party for the Inde Air staff in the lawns of the hotel. Ananya despite of all her inhibitions had decided to try one more time to pursue Akash and get some clear answers from him.She had worn a shoulderless blood red gown which accentuated her curves fitting tightly till her waist from where it flowed down. She had worn danglers, put some makeup and tied her hair up in a bun letting few strands loose. As she entered the venue she could feel all eyes on her as she looked ravishingly beautiful and then the eyes she had decked up fell on her and she felt that Akash had gone still for a moment. She sat on a table alone in one corner although at times she caught Akash looking at her as if he is going to burn her down. As the party continued it was dancing time for couples and she saw to her utter dismay that Akash had moved in with another air hostess to the dance floor simply ignoring her. As she was about to move towards him Rohit had come to her to offer her to be his dance partner. Ananya had decided not to loose the opportunity to make Akash feel jealous went ahead with Rohit. Contrary to what she expected Akash had purposely pulled Sunaina , the air hostess closer. Ananya and Akash continued dancing with each other's partners b.ut continued to steal looks at each other.Ananya had been watching Akash and Sunaina for quite some time now and it was becoming unbearable for her. As soon as the dance ended Ananya ran out of the venue leaving Rohit surprised.

Akash noticed a hurt Ananya running through the crowds and out of the venue and he could see that she was crying and seeing this he too rushed behind her. For hours she had wandered in the streets aimlessly not knowing what to do completely lost in an unknown city and its roads. Akash had been late and when he reached outside Ananya was nowhere to be seen and he had rushed to his rented car and drove madly around the city to find her. After a 3hr search when he did not find Ananya, he was hell worried thinking of what might have happened to her in these roads which she is not familiar with. He was on his way to the police station when in a secluded corner of one of the rocky beaches he spotted a dash of red and he was sure it was his Ananya. Akash had rushed to her and it had pierced his heart to see Ananya in a broken state crying her heart out. She was sitting on the edge of a loch (where the water had entered cutting the rocks and formed a kind of a canopy) and her hair had fallen out of the bun, the makeup had spread all over her face with her crying. Ananya was surprised to find him there and as Akash tried pacifying her she had pushed him back with all her might and said "Just go and leave me alone to myself".Akash tried a few times and everytime she pushed him back and fed up he said "Ok I am going " and Ananya came back fiercely and held his collar saying " yes go why do you even bother , continue your dance with Sunaina".Akash shrugged off Ananya's hand irritated with her and with the impact she slipped on a loose rock and started falling into the rocky gushing loch .As Ananya realized she shouted "Akash" and in a split second he had caught Ananya's hand as she precariously hung from the rock. With a lot of effort he had pulled her up with her dress torn, hands and legs bruised and he realized what was going to happen if he would not have caught Ananya's hand on time, she would have been dead by now. He was horrified with the imagination and he could not stop himself any more as his life , his Ananya was all set to leave him forever because of his mistake. At the moment when Ananya had hung precariously close to falling and dying, the only thing Akash prayed to God was to give just one more chance to live for her so he could tell her what she wanted to hear and what he felt for her without holding himself anymore because life does not give you another chance. As he looked at Ananya shaken and distraught, Akash had just pulled her to him and hugged her like his life resided in her and then told her what she had been waiting to hear "Ananya, what would have happened if you had fallen there, I would have lost you, I can't live without you..I love you I love you with all my soul, every tissue and every fiber in my body". Ananya had hugged him back and rained kisses on his face confessing that she loved him too and would die without him but with him around she will always be safe. She had cried to her heart's content on Akash shoulders and Akash had lovingly brushed away all her tears.

Akash had then lifted Ananya in his strong arms and carried her all the way to the car , taken her to her room, had done the first aid and put her to sleep after giving some medicines. She had fever as expected because of the pain but Akash had lovingly taken care of her through the night and sat next to her.The entire next morning he had been around her, feeding her, giving her medicines, doing her first aid and finally the next day when she was feeling better they had flown back to Delhi. Akash had wanted her to stay back one more day and rest but since it was Ananya's mother's birthday she had decided to come back. During this time Akash told her about his DIB agent role and the need to keep her away from him to which Ananya had retorted saying "you mean all DIB guys are forbidden to fall in love, have family and get married is it? Do you take some kind of oath of celibacy". Akash had laughed at her childish yet thoughtful question and had realized that they could not live without each other so whatever be at stake they need to with each other, come what may. They had spent most of the Goa trip together and at least a thousand times said "I love you" to each other .As the lovebirds flew back to Delhi next day from Goa , Akash had royally cribbed to Ananya that he did not like Rohit getting close to Ananya , he just did not like him. Ananya had laughed and asked "You don't like Rohit getting close to me or anybody getting close to me to which he had got up from his seat and held her from the back and said, "No you are mine and I don't want to let you split our time, I want to love you every minute, every moment every time till we live. You call me possessive or whatever, that's the way I feel". Ananya smiled noting it in her diary and bathed in those evergreen romantic days and even she did not realize when she had fallen asleep and the diary had fallen off the bed.
