Part-7

It has been 3 months and Ananya had been running pillar to post, every official in the MEA in Delhi,she had bribed people , sat for hours in front of some ministries , approached every clue that she could find sometimes she was successful and sometimes it led to a blind end. She never gave up and continued her tryst with destiny till she dropped tired for the day. She had learned the ways of the world and now worked smarter and careful towards her destination. Finally they received a message that Akash would be released. Exactly after a month after, it was confirmed that Akash would be handed over to the business counterparts of Rohit and he with Mr.Kashyap would finally bring Akash home. The release came at a cost and Rohit had to pay out 4crores to get back Akash. Ananya had been quite determined not to take that grant from Rohit, not at least for the release of her husband and Rohit had bargained with her to give that as a loan which she could payback for as long as she wanted to. Rohit had argued that he owes Akash at least this meagre amount given the fact that Inde Air is running today because Akash had put his life at risk and averted a terrorist plot and managed to save the airline. Rohit would always remain indebted to the Saluja duo for this but knowing Ananya, he respected her decision to payback the amount.

Ananya could not sleep that night as she could not contain her excitement to meet her love .She had so many things to ask, she had so many stories to tell. She was not sure how would Akash react on seeing her, would she break down or he would, would he envelop her in a tight hug or would he kiss her. As the first rays of the sun filtered through her room, Ananya was all ready to welcome a part of her back. She had dressed up Aryan and Araina in blue, their dad's favorite color and she herself was in a mauf colored anarkali suit which Akash had gifted her on their first date. Every minute seemed like an hour for her and Savita tai although initially was angry for not sharing these information with her, now melted seeing Ananya in this state. She knew Ananya loved Akash more than her life and if she has done something it must be for his good. Finally exactly at 10 am Ananya's phone rang and she heard Rohit say that they were on their way and would reach her place in another 15mins and although she wanted to hear Akash , she did withhold her anxiety and excitement for now. After sometime, there was sound of a vehicle screeching to halt and Ananya ran out. She waited impatiently as Rohit,Mr.Kashyap and Subhankar stepped out. Then she saw a wheel chair being unfolded by Subhankar as they lifted a man out and gradually put him on the chair and he was none other than her AKASH!!!Ananya looked at the figure of the man what once was her charming, handsome, playful and effervescent now crouched, crumpled and looked lost. Ananya swayed on her feet looking at the figure and it took Rohit to rush to her and help her to become steady. Once everybody walked in to the house, Subhankar and Savita tai wheeled Akash to his room as the others sat down. Mr.Kashyap and Rohit started briefing Ananya on the events that had happened. Akash had been tortured severely to get information and his state today is because of that. His limbs have become numb and he has not lost his memory but his emotions are in a suspended state. He will have to undergo physiotherapy for his body to come back to normal and also visit the psychiatrist to undergo treatment. Both of them patted Ananya and said that she has shown exceptional courage and patience to get her love back and by God's grace it should not be long before Akash is back to the old self again. At this point he might not recognize her or the kids but with everybody'd love and care and ongoing treatment it should not be long before things were back to normal again. Rohit had already booked the doctors so they could start the treatment as soon as possible.

That night as Ananya looked at the man sprawled on the bed, she was tempted to run her fingers through his hair but it took a lot of restrain on her part to stop herself from doing so. She needed to wait till things get better. She has managed to get him back safe and sound and she was sure she will be able to win the remaining battle as well. She sighed and took out her diary to write again the day's events as she was yet to travel some distance before she meets her Capt Saluja. She took her diary and walked next to the crib where the twins were in deep sleep and lay down on the couch next to them waiting for a new dawn to wage a new war.

Part-8

It has been over a month that Akash was undergoing treatment and it was clearly showing improvements. Akash was able to walk a few steps on his own and was trying his level best to improve on it. He had shaved and had started wearing his old dresses looking much better with the overgrown beard and hair gone. To add to Ananya's happiness the doctor had informed her that during the hypnosis sessions, he had responded well and he was able to recollect Ananya's name. One evening when Ananya had come back after work, she was overjoyed to find Akash busy playing with the kids and he was also smiling and laughing. She had been in tears looking at the scene infront of her. She had looked up towards the sky and thanked the Gods for finally giving her glimpses of her old Akash.

Next day morning she had woken up early, taken her bath, and draped herself in a light baby pink colored chiffon saree and gone to the temple to offer special prayers for Akash recovery. Off late Ananya had made frequent round of temples which used to be an extremely occasional affair for her. After coming back and feeding the twins , she had done the puja at home as well and gone off to prepare the breakfast. Today she wanted desperately to go a little overboard and prepare parathas for breakfast for Akash herself. She had decided to prepare the dough and the filling and then wake up Akash and serve him his morning tea. Ananya kept the puja thali in the kitchen,tied up the pallu of the saree and started working herself in the kitchen. Once she was done with the preparations, she had made the tea since Savita tai had gone out and would come a little late. She woke up Akash and pushed him to the washroom to clean himself up and she rushed to the kitchen to prepare the parathas. Once Akash was back , he proceeded to the dining table to have his tea and smelled something burning. As he walked to the kitchen he found that Ananya's loosened pallu had caught fire from the diya in the puja thali. Ananya on the other hand was lost in thoughts of how Akash had taught her to make parathas especially for him. She had stood the same way wearing a sari post her wedding, trying to fix up a liquidly dough when Akash had come up behind her and slid his hands along her waist and ducked into the dough. Ananya had closed her eyes to feel the touch when Akash had given a soft laugh looking at the dough and then Ananya had cried on his chest and told Akash that she was a bad wife who could not even make his favourite breakfast for him. Akash had hugged her lovingly and both had then fixed up the dough and made parathas and fed each other. Ananya could never imagine that making parathas could be so romantic and only her Akash could make it so. He had relished not only the parathas but also her in every way he could and she enjoyed it to the core.

Lost in her thoughts she could hear somebody calling out her name helplessly and she feeling the heat of the fire had come back to reality screamed her heart out seeing her saree on fire.Akash had moved in swiftly and grabbed her pallu and held in the tub of water nearby to douse the fire .Once the fire got doused Akash did something Ananya never expected, he enveloped her in a bear hug and held her tight as if he would have lost something precious and then Ananya realized that Akash had called her by her name. It was music to her ears and she felt warm within his embrace in a very long long time. As they broke the hug Akash looked at her saree which lay on the floor and Ananya stood before him in a petticoat and her blouse with her cleavage doing a peek-a-boo. He was lost in the beauty that stood before him with the blouse now wet, the lines clearly visible of her globes and the pert nipples. He observed the water droplets making their way from her long neck down to then disappear in the valley of her breasts. Ananya noticed him looking at her and she felt the heat pooling below her stomach anticipating what he would do next. She could see the eyes slowly darkening but to her utter disappointment, Akash turned his face looking away and walked out of the kitchen. Was it her imagination that she had seen desire in his eyes because it had seemed to go away as soon as it had come and then embarrassment and awkwardness had replaced them as if he had no rights to look at Ananya. She had longed for him to touch him in every way he wanted and she also wanted to do the same. Tears stung Ananya's eyes as she longed to hide himself in Akash chest and sleep being covered in his warmth. As of now it looked like still there was time left but then she found solace in the fact that at least he had called her by her name and embraced her and it was enough for the day.

it was speechless but very emotional too.really thought that aakash would take ananya in his arms but it didn't happen.But I hope it will happen ssoon.u did an outstanding job👏

Chap-9

Akash had his share of nightmares each night. Although initially Ananya needed Savita tai and Ramesh dada to restrain his violent nightmares when he would re-live the tortures he went through in the terrorist camp and Ananya would have to inject him to calm him down. Initially she used to very disturbed by this but after sometime got used to it. In the last couple of weeks the spate of the nightmares had come down drastically and the injections have also stopped. Still Akash sometimes used to shout out in the night and he would only calm down when Ananya would come and hold him close to herself and then put his head on his lap and slowly pat him to sleep. As a result Ananya had to be around Akash at night so she shifted the kids as well to the same room. The cribs of Aryan and Araina used to be in one end of the room and Ananya would lie down on the couch next to the crib to be close to the crib and Akash would sleep on the bed. Although Ananya like Akash detested the couch but this arrangement worked best for them given the fact that Akash was still not comfortable with Ananya after coming back at physical level. Akash and Ananya behaved like friends now, they had their meals together, shared their daily routines over coffee or tea and Ananya was taking it slow on the doctor's advice. The doctor had asked to hold her patience and definitely she will see Akash taking the first step in their relation.

One night when Ananya had come back tired and exhausted and was thinking that she had still so many things to do at home, feed the children, make Akash have dinner, make their beds so that she can finally have a peaceful sleep at night. As she reached home she saw that the kids have been changed and have been fed already and Akash was patting them to sleep. Savita tai informed her that Akash had done everything as she was busy cleaning up the house. Ananya was overjoyed and happy too. She also came to know that Akash refused to have dinner without her coming back but Savita tai had convinced him somehow to have dinner on time so that he could have the medicines. Akash had finally relented but he did not enjoy the dinner alone and had consumed much lesser. On hearing that Ananya thought she could just then make her bed and go to sleep because she did not feel like eating alone. As soon as she had showered and changed and started getting ready to sleep, Akash had walked in with a tray having some soup and bread and some apple pie. Ananya was pleasantly surprised looking at the contents and Akash had made her sit and fed her the soup and she could not contain her tears. Akash had lovingly brushed all her tears and made her eat everything and finally Ananya could not hold it anymore and had crashed into Akash chest and cried her heart out as she patted her back. She had been doing everything on her own since Akash had gone and returned back and she desperately craved for his love and care. After sometime Ananya realized what she was doing and she moved back on her own accord to give both of them some space.

She looked at the couch and rued going to sleep on it. Of late she was having a back pain because of her regular sleeping in the couch and now that she has decided to go back to flying to foot the increasing bill of Akash treatment expenses, she needed to be careful. She looked at Akash lying down comfortably on the bed reading some book and decided to make the bed on the floor today. As she spread the bed on the floor and tried spreading the blanket, Akash caught her hand and took away the blanket. Ananya did not know when he had come to her side and he was dragging her to the other side of the bed next to him. Once there he arranged the pillow and the blanket and asked her with his eyes to sleep. As Ananya started getting up saying "Akash its ok, I will manage, you will not be comfortable, she was pulled back and she fell on the bed. Akash pushed her down on the bed and covered her with the blanket as he lay down next to her and started reading the book. Ananya looked for some time curiously at him and then thanked God for making her day so special as she peacefully drifted off to sleep thinking that the first step in them becoming man and wife again has been taken today.
