Ch11.
As Ananya reached the terrace,she saw Aakash standing,leaning against the rails of the wall.All the while she thought that for what reason Aakash called her to talk?
Aakash sensed her presence and immediately turned to watch her coming towards him.He smiled lightly.
''Aakash,aapne mujhe iss waqt terrace pe kyun bulaya? Kya baatein karni thi aapki mujhse?'' Ananya asked.
Aakash took a breath and atlast decided to keep his feelings infront of her..
''Ananya,main jaanti hu ki maine jo kiya hai tumhare saath woh bohut galat thha...Uska mujhe bohut pachtava hai,par,main indino ke dauran,mujhe samajh agaya hai ki tumpe uss waqt shaq karke maine bohut bari bhul kardi thhi.. Indino,mujhe iss baat ka ehsaas hua ke tum mere zindagi ke sabse khubsurat aur amulya hissa banchuki ho... Main tumse pyaar kar baithha hu,Ananya.. Janta hu ke itna kuch hojane ke baad,tumhara mere upar vishwas karna mushkil hoga aur sahi bhi hai,par,iss dil ko kaise manau ya phir yu kahu,ke,iss dil ko main rok na paya tumse pyaar karne keliye...'' Aakash confessed his feelings.
Ananya was rooted to her spot.Her ears couldnt what Aakash said just few seconds ago. Her heart was jumping in joy that he confessed his love for her,but,her mind wasn't yet ready to understand. She remembered what Anika had said to her.
Flashback: (Anika having a randon convo with Ananya)
''Ananya,main samajh sakti hu ki tumpe kya beeti hogi jab Aakash ne shaq kiya tumpe.. Zahir si baat hai ki tumhe bohut thhes pohuchi hogi,par,zara socho aur dekho ke Aakash is feeling really guilty for that fact and he is doing everything to get your forgiveness.'' Anika said.
''Par,Anika.. Uss dard ka kya jo usne mujhe diya hai?'' Ananya said,sadly.
''Ek baat humesha yaad rakhna,ki,apne aaj aur kal mein apne beete huye kal ko kabhi bhi havi mat parhne dena. Maanti hu ki jo kuch bhi hua tumhare saath,woh bhulana aasaan nahi hai par mushkil bhi nahi... Maine Aakash ke aakho pachtava aur tumhare liye pyaar,dono hi dekha hai. Woh andar hi bohut ghut ghut ke jeerahe hai,Ananya. Insaano se hi galtiyaa hoti aur hum ko hi yeh galtiyaa maaf karna parta hai kyunki hum bilkul bhi nahi chahenge ki ek galti ki wajah se jo rishta hum dono ke beech hai,woh kharab hojaye... Waqt bohut bara marham hota hai har dard ka,Ananya... Thora waqt lo aur socho tumhe iss rishtey ko ek mauka dena chahiye ya phir iss rishtey ko divorce ka naam deke barbad aur be-izzat karna chahiye..'' Anika said,trying to make Ananya understand.
''Ek aur baat batana chahungi,Ananya... Tum jo kar rahi ho na,kahi aisa na ho ke tum apni beete huye kal mein uljhi raho aur apne aane wale kal aur aaj ko acchi aur pyaar bhari yaado se sawaar na pao... Aisa kuch bhi mat karna jisse tumdono ko thhes pohuche..''
Flashback ends.
Aakash notices Ananya's silence and thinks that she doesnt want to reciprocate the feelings for him,though he knows that,deep in her heart,she had buried those feelings...
Aakash smiles sadly and understands that she doesnt love him,after giving so much pain to her.
''Shayad,yahi deserve karta hu main...''
He distances himself and was about to go,when Ananya's voice stopped him.
''Ruk jao,Aakash.. Mujhe bhi kuch kehna hai aapko..'' Ananya said from the back.
She came towards Aakash while he stopped on his tracks. She went near him and his collar tightly and shook him,with tears brimmed in her eyes.
''Aap bohut burey ho... Aapke seeney mein itna dard chhupa thha aur aapne mujhse baattna bhi nahi chaha.. How dare you,Aakash? Itni himaat kaha se agayi aap mein? Mujhse apna dard chhupaya,kyun??? Aap mere pati ho,aapko pura haq hai ki aap apna safai mere saamne rakkhe.. Zabardastti aake mujhse baat karte aap.. Kyun,Aakash? Kyun?'' Ananya said,with tears in her eyes.
''kyunki,maine tumhe hurt karke bohut bari galti kardi thhi,Ananya,aur,yeh mujhse bardasht nahi horaha thha,isiliye,maine faisla kiya ki mujhe apne aapko saza deni paregi... Aainda aisi galti kabhi nahi karunga,Ananya... Indino,mujhe ehsaas hua ki main tumse bohut pyaar karne laga hu,be intehaan pyaar karta hu tumse.. Agar tum mujhse alag hogayi toh main jee...''
He couldnt speak further as Ananya slammed her lips with his lips.. For a moment,he became numb,but,later on,realized that,she had forgiven him and responded that kiss with equal love and passion. He pulled Ananya closer by her waist and Ananya threw her arms and coiled it around Aakash's neck.
As they broke the kiss due to short of breath,Ananya hugged Aakash really tightly. Aakash was really happy today.He thanked Bhagwanji for making him realise the worth of Ananya in his life and for the love he has and will have for her,for the lifetimes to come.
As they broke,Aakash pulled her face up,slowly,holding her chin and kissed her cheeks,which became red. Then,he took out the mangalsutra she used to wear and tied it around her neck and applied the sindoor on her parting,marking her as his,forever.
