Ananya was trying really hard not to look at the face above her,the face who had been intensely staring at her for the last 5mins. His touch,the very feel of him sent shivers through her body. She stubbornly kept her eyes on the side or straight ahead. She knew he was getting angry,she could feel it in his body and his eyes. He was urging her to look at him, but she didn't spare him a glance, why should I anyway she thought irritated and slightly too hot in his arms. She hated the feel of his arms,they made her feel too safe and content and she could almost feel herself getting addicted to this. The song was a slow,sensual one causing them to dance at a close proximity. 'So first officer,any problem' akash's husky voice asked 'no akash why' she was confused. 'Oh no, its just that your not looking at me or talking to me. So I was wondering if something was wrong' there was a smirk on his face. damn him Ananya thought,he knows exactly what is wrong and he's asking me. 'Oh really captain, i wasn't sure my not talking to u was such a big issue. Anyways why does it matter you'. feeling angry right now was a understatement. Ananya gritted her teeth how can he stand there and tell me that Im not talking to him when since the last 2 weeks he's been doing a splendid job of ignoring me. Before Akash could say anything. Ananya said 'you should be asking yourself that, you haven't been talking to me so asking me is out of the question. You've lost all rights so lets not get personal'. 'We are just two pilots that are dancing nothing more' she said in an angry whisper. 'Really first officer,if we are just two pilots that are 'just' dancing,then why are you snug in my arms, so snug that i never want to let you go' akash's sexy yet dangerous voice said from above. Ananya gulped. 'I have no idea what you're talking about' she said, praying her voice didn't tremble. 'Really,well I'll tell you' his voice had gone hard now. 'No cap' before Ananya could say anything else he pulled her hard to his body and ananya gasped. Being so close to him, sent a torrid of emotions through her. She breathed deeply . 'Captain let me go' 'no first officer, his voice was back to teasing again,why should i, i mean you being so close to me doesn't effect you at all huh' so stay here, anyway we are slow dancing so u have to be close. She kept her mouth shut, if she said anything now, he'll know the effect he has on her, and she will not let that happen. Im going to leave with my pride and self respect intact she thought determinedly. So she silently danced with him, trying to ignore his breath on her neck and his arms so close to hers and as soon as the dance finished, she was off to the restroom, thankfully nobody else was there but unknown to her Akash had followed her and was waiting for her outside. Nobody else had seen them move towards the restroom, and Akash was glad for that. Ananya now stepped out of the restroom, with her emotions tightly reined in but was about to lose control over them again, since akash was standing there leaning against the wall. Oh god what shall i do she groaned in her head . ' Ananya'. 'yes sir'. 'Why are you ignoring me'. And Ananya's control snapped with those 5 words. ' Why I am IGNORING you! Seriously, captain you're asking me this. hen you have been ignoring me since the last two weeks,how dare u even ask me this?!!' she came close to him and started poking his chest 'I waited in that hospital for 2 and a half hours, waiting for any news of you, that you were okay now, that your still here with us. With me. But what did you do, you ignored me like I was no body to you. Do you know how much that hurt? And you're asking me why I didn't talk to you you,You've got to be joking me. And now all of a sudden, you want to be friends, no thank you captain. I don't want a friendship, with someone who blows hot and cold. Im better off. Ananya started to walk away, afraid she'll start crying or something in a second but before she could walk away, akash grabbed her arm and pulled and her towards him. He was stunned at her words, still shocked that she cared so much about him. His eyes shifted downwards towards the woman who was looking at him with fire in her eyes and struggling against his hold, and he knew there we're many apologises to do. 'God Ananya, I'm so sorry for hurting you so much, you have no idea how sorry I am'. But... but i HAD to ignore you, had to purposely hurt you and make you go away from me. I had no other choice, if I hadn't done it... then you're life would have been in danger and how could I let that happen'. 'Sorry Ananya, so sorry'. 'Please say you'll at least try to forgive me and to make it more easier for you,come to dinner tonight, with only you and me. I will tell you everything there, and then u can decide for yourself if u you want to forgive me or not' He looked down into flabbergasted eyes. 'Akash, what are you talking about' 'what danger'. 'Why.. How'?! 'I don't understand' she explained experated and shocked. Thats why, I'm saying come to dinner with me,there i can explain properly, without anyone hearing. He looked over her shoulder and nobody was there, if someone had come his DIB instincts would have sensed it. Ananya looked at akash, she knew akash would never tell a lie, well not this big, so it must be true, but should i go. Her mind and heart fought over the need to listen to akash or find out the truth. Finally her curiosity won. 'Okay then, captain its a done deal ill meet u for dinner. 'Great, the biggest smile stretched akash's face'. 'Its a date then'!! 'What' ananya said surprised. Akash winked at her and whilst leaving, 'so be ready by 8 tommorow ' 'see u then'. Giving a lil mock bow he left. Ananya smiled at his back, god, he's too charming and handsome for his own good she thought to herself. ' ananya what are you doing, i thought you we're angry on him, then why u smiling for. But as much as she wanted to she couldn't wipe the goofy lil smile off her face, no matter how ridiculous it looked. Behave yourself Ananya she said to herself but she was still smiling as she walked away and said her goodbyes to the host goodbye. Akash was smiling also, like a little child who had gotten his favourite toy after a long time. 'Deep breaths akash , do not mess this up'. He told himself.
