Hey guys. Thanks once again to everyone who has commented. it really means a lot to me. Also, just reiterating, could someone please help me with the PM stuff (how to do it and what am I meant to write?) because I'm new so I'm not really sure about all this stuff. Now, one bad news. I will not be able to update again on Monday as I have an extremely important prior commitment. Sorry about that. BUT this update is slightly longer than normal to make up for it! Now onto the update. PLEASE REVIEW AND COMMENT!!!!!

Chapter 6

(N.B. Nothing in this FF is real. However, in the following updates, there is a mention of a terrorist organisation which IS real. However, this is not meant to be derogatory in any way to any person, religion or race. This is a FANFICTION and it is not based on any real event. However, as the author I did not want to provide wrong information, hence the real terrorist organisation. Once again, this is only for the story purpose, NOT to be offensive. If anyone is offended by this, please do not refrain from commenting and I will gladly edit it out.)

Aakash went back to his hotel room and collapsed onto his bed. It had been a long day for him. His head was hurting, and he couldn't stop thinking about Ananya and how she would be coping. What if the kidnappers did something to her? Would they kill her? He suddenly sat up at the thought. This this was entirely his fault. If only he had stayed away from her. But he couldn't stop himself, as much as he tried. His head ached and he rubbed it in the hopes of easing the pain.

They were probably torturing her right now for information she didn't have. And since that wouldn't work, they would either kill her or use her as bait. For him. He knew this meant that he should stay away from the case and let the police deal with it. But if he didn't turn up, then Ananya would definitely be dead before they found her. And he could NOT let that happen. He got up and paced his room as the events of the day played through his head.

In the morning, he had reached the airport, but none of the officers had helped him. He had managed to get into the crime scene, but as expected he couldn't find any substantial clue. All the ignorant people who walked through the site had destroyed any traces of the kidnapper, if he left any at all. However, Aakash did find Ananya's phone, but that had lead nowhere. The last call had been to Shefali, as she had already told him. He had then decided to go to the police station, to see if he could find out anything about the kidnapper. (flashback)

He unlocked the car and slipped into the driver's seat, when he glanced in his rear view mirror.

"I didn't know you would travel all the way here just to meet me," Aakash said, starting the car and driving towards the police station.

"You know I did not come here just to meet you. I cannot believe what you have done." The man looked out of the tinted window.

"What have I done this time?"

"By fraternizing with that girl, you have not only endangered her life, but also the mission. Especially when we are so close to finding the mastermind of the JeM."

"Sir, I..." He couldn't think of what to say. It was actually his fault. He should have showed more restraint.

"See, you have nothing to say. Need I remind you again? The organisation comes first."

"But Ananya is in danger. She will be killed if I leave this case to the police."

"And you will be killed if you do get involved and you know that."

"Not necessarily sir. I have a plan. I can work with the police force to find the people who caught her. We had found evidence before that the mastermind is in Jaipur itself, as they are planning something bigger here. If he is here, then he would be overseeing this kidnapping, because they think that Ananya is a part of our organisation. And if that is the case, then I will be able to track him when I find her."

"I still do not think that this is a good idea."

"Sir, I need to save her. It is because of me that she is in trouble, and I cannot allow them to harm her."

"I hope you know what you are doing Aakash. I give you 2 days to track down that girl and the mastermind. After that, I will give the case to someone else, and you will not be involved in that girl's case anymore. Understand?"

"Yes sir."

"Good. Now please stop the car."

Aakash pulled over to the side of the road and the man let himself out, merging into the crowd.

(End of flashback)

That encounter had left Aakash in a worse mood then before, but also with a fierce determination to find Ananya and the mastermind in 2 days. He reached the police station, but every single officer was a fool. Not one person could tell him how there had been such a lax in security that kidnappers could come into the airport with guns and manage to take someone with them. But he calmed himself down and went to meet the people in charge. Once he had explained who he really was, they let him in. But they had no clue or idea where to start searching either. The kidnappers had been good. They had destroyed the CCTV cameras, so that when they took Ananya, there would be no video footage of the car they escaped in or a clue as to where they went. Most of the place was evacuated so there weren't many witnesses, but the police was trying to track the witnesses. Other than that, everyone was clueless about what to do. The police had sent teams in different directions to see if they could find something, but it would take a lot of work to find anything of substance. So Aakash had left and come back to his hotel, wondering how on Earth he could reach Ananya. Because if he didn't find her in two days, she could be lost forever.

Chapter 7

29 October- 07:00

Ananya gingerly opened her eyes and stared at the ground for a few minutes, until her brain started functioning again. She looked around the room and noticed some water and food in the corner of the room. Wait, water and food?! She scrambled onto her knees and half crawled and half dragged herself to the water. She picked up the glass and emptied it in 10 seconds flat. And immediately regretted it. What if they didn't give her anything for the next day? What would she do? Ananya decided to ration the food. The kidnappers had given her one roti and a small bowl of dal. She decided she could live with a quarter of her roti and a tiny bit of the dal. So she tore off a bit and nibbled on the food, so she wouldn't get tempted to eat the rest. Just as she finished hiding the rest of the food, kidnapper number 2 came back. Ananya hoped he wouldn't miss the plate or the bowl.

"Well, well, well. Seems like you're up nice and early today." Ananya opened her mouth, but decided to stay quiet. She would NOT waste energy arguing with this idiot.

"Hmmm. Seems like you have become quite intelligent over the night. You found out its best to stay quiet didn't you? And since I don't see the plate or the bowl either," Ananya widened her eyes, "it seems like you also found the food." The kidnapper looked at Ananya's worried face. "Oh don't worry sweetheart, I already found the plate and the bowl." The kidnapper held the things up.

"What. How." Then it hit her. Ananya wanted to smack herself. While she thought she had found the perfect hiding place, she forgot that the door was right next to it. He must have found it then.

"Awww, poor girl. Thought you were all smart. Well, you know what? I may just give you the rest of your food it you can answer the questions for us. Surely you have had enough time to think about it by now." Ananya kept staring at the kidnapper. "Well, I take that as a yes. So, let's start this all over again. Who are you?"

"I'm Ananya Rawat."

"Well I know that, but who are you really? What is your profession?"

"I'm Ananya Rawat," she repeated, "and I'm a pilot at Inde Airlines."

"Oh come on sweetheart. I thought we were over this. I want the truth."

"This is the truth." Anaya said, trying to keep the irritation out of her voice.

"Okay let's try another question. What are Aakash's plans? How did he find out about us? Does he know all of our plans?"

"Look, I have told you all of this already. I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT." Ananya couldn't keep calm any longer. And when she looked at the kidnapper again she knew she had a made a big mistake.

"Really? Is that so? Well, let's add some incentive shall we?" The kidnapper took out a dagger. Ananya started backing away, but he caught her and tied her to a chair. "The rules are quite simple. For every wrong answer, I get a score. And for every right answer...Well you will see. So let me ask that again. What are Aakash's plans?"

"I don't know."

"Wrong." The kidnapper took the dagger and made a slit on Ananya's arm. Immediately, blood started trickling out, but Ananya kept quiet.

"How did he find out about us?"

"I have no idea."

"Wrong again." Another slit on the other arm. And so it went. By the end of it, Ananya was close to unconsciousness again, her blood all over herself and the chair. Her arms were covered with slits, some which had already started to heal and some which were still bleeding.

"Please, I don't know, I don't know." Ananya whispered, unable to stand it anymore.

"Oh I know sweetheart. I know you don't know anything," she whispered.

"What?" Anaya looked up in surprise. "Then why all of this."

"Because it's fun. Now look, you got my hands all messy," the kidnapper sighed, looking at his blood covered hands, "I better go and clean up. See you later." The kidnapper left, humming a song.

Ananya wasn't sure she could survive anymore. Not after this. "Where are you Aakash? Please help me," she whispered as she felt her eyes closing once again.
