It was the third time in a row. Just another valentine's day that he was going was going to spend alone. It has become a joke now, his friends always teased him about how much miserable Abeer Raichand's love life is. While the man was very successful in his profession, his personal life, on the other hand, was non-existent.

"I shouldn't have taken a day off today." Abeer sighed rummaging through his mail, "Bills, bills, and cupids." now that had Abeer frowning in confusion.

"Cupids?" he looked at the suspicious looking pinkish colored envelope that had Cupids written over it in an elegant script.

Curious, Abeer opened the envelope and found an invitation card addressed to him.

"Shall I go or not? What if this turns out to be a scam?" he thought to himself and was about to throw the card away but then his cell phone started ringing, halting his actions.

It was his sister's call who told him that she had signed him up for this Cupids blind date thing. Long story short, Abeer decided not to throw the card away, "People do say that third time is a charm."

Attached to the invitation card were some details about the girl they had selected to be his blind date.

"Aakashi, hhmm."

Abeer reached the place just on time. Turning towards the corner his GPS was pointing towards, he came across a beautifully decorated cave. His lips curved upward in a wonder-filled smiled, "Cupids Cave indeed."

It was breathtakingly beautiful and as Abeer entered the cave, he could see candles and lanterns light on the way. Small lamps decorated the gaps of the cave.

On the middle lay a table, with two chairs. A single bottle of champagne and roses was the center of attraction.

The cave was located near the city, right on the beach. From one end, the picturesque city could be seen.

While the other end would connect the cave to the sea.

Once at the main venue, Abeer met a staff member who took him to a dressing room. Abeer was told that he will be getting styled by their stylist. Something that they had been doing to make people look perfect for their date.

An hour and a half later Abeer was ready.

Then he was lead to the cave area where his date was set up. And then he saw her, looking extremely beautiful in pink.

"Hi! I am Abeer Raichand." he introduced himself.

She shook hands with him, "Aakashi Goenka." she smiled.

They started talking about general things but then a time came when their eyes started conversing in their own sweet language.

Abeer & Aakashi's staring match was interrupted when a
Cupids staff brought them food.

And then they were served a
variety of desserts. Sweet and symbolic.

Both of them were then surprised when soft and romantic music started playing.
"Would you like to dance?" asked Abeer.

"Sure." Aakashi smiled and placed her hand in his.

The
swayed along the music softly. Abeer was holding her gently and close to him while she laid her head on his shoulder as they danced.

They got so
lost in each other and the
intimacy that they didn't even realize what time it was.

They were brought
back to reality when they were visited by the same Cupids staff member as before. The woman picked up the food plates from the table, cleaned it and placed a card and a small box over it before leaving.

They found beautiful
platinum couple bands in the box. Though Abeer did feel a connection with Aakashi, but he was hesitating.

Aakashi smiled realizing his thoughts, so she took the
initiative.

They made each other wear the ring.
'Third time's a charm indeed.' Abeer thought to himself as he hugged Aakashi tightly.
