For whose good???? Really????

First of all until it was convenient for her Shristi used Vishu and now when she doesn't need him any more and she is now capable of standing on her own two feet, she is discarding him like used tissue paper. She had no right to mess with his life by marrying him in the first place. It's not like she didn't know Vishu's mental status from the outset. Nothing has changed from the time she married him till now. People may argue that she was helpless at the time of the marriage because her father emotionally blackmailed her to save his honour. Well, helpless my foot!!!!! She is meant to be brainy and a lawyer couldn't she think of ways to stop herself being coerced into an unwanted marriage? She could have called the police and had her father arrested not only for trying to force her into the marriage but also for trying to commit suicide which from what I gather is a criminal offence. If she is such a stickler to the law why did she let her father get away with committing not one but two crimes ? By running away from her saas right now she has brought as much dishonour to her family as she would have by getting her dad arrested so that excuse of bringing shame to her family doesn't apply. Even if she didn't want to get him arrested she could have used his own tactics against him and strung up a rope too, used the threat of her own suicide against his. Even supposing she went through with the marriage she could have walked away from it right there and there, straight from the mandap to Poonam's house. There was no need to give Vishu false hope or the time to get emotionally attached to her. Now she is claiming she is sending divorce papers so she can hurt Vishu for his own good and she is hoping he will understand her reasoning. LMAO what brain cells is she using? Has she met Vishu? His IQ is what?... and she expects him to understand. Seriously???? When she left him in the first place she explained to him the reasons why face to face and he understood. What was wrong with the use of those tactics again? One other thing she left that house because her dignity had been insulted by Revati but this was always inevitable. Right from the outset Revati made no bones about the fact that she hated her and insulted her upon first meeting itself so she knew what Revati was like yet she was still willing to get married in that family. Whether married to Toerag or Vishu there is no doubt Revati would have cast as many aspersions on her character as she is now so why was she willing to accept marriage into that family then ? Wasn't her dignity important then too or was Toerag worth all the insults?

As to the yo yo Toerag, hard to understand a person who doesn't seem to understand anything himself but his sudden empathising of Shristi's reason for sending divorce papers seems to be because he feels there is a benefit for him in it too. I don't see how he intends to spend the rest of his life in the toxicity of his marriage to Ragini or how he expects Ragini to accept it for the rest of her life, so at some point he must be believing he will free himself of her and a single Shristi would be good for him too.

To be continued. This feels as long as a thesis. I was gonna write even more about the agendas of Ragini, Revati etc but right now time constraints forbid. When free I will come back and give some more of my thoughts.
