Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo Weekly Summary!!

Second Week!
March 23 to March 26

Ep-5 - 23 March 2009, Monday

Nanku and Majri are working hard to try and earn money for Lali's gauna' and Lali is trying to find ways to get a sakh-itodai gift for her childhood friend Shanichari. Lali comes upon an opportunity when she helps the cyclewala to sell his ware in exchange for a packet of bindiya. But the cyclewala ditches Lali and runs away into Nanku's plot of puncturing tyres in order to earn some money. Nanku gets bashed up by the cyclewala and Lali witnesses this. Nanku manages to cover up in front of Lali and also ends up lying to her that he has money and will give her money for the sakhi-todai gift. But this lie is short lived and Lali finds out about it. To save her father from further embarrassment, Lali brings forward Nanku's favourite drum and despite hunger and poverty the family spends a beautiful evening of singing and dancing.

Ep-6 - 24 March 2009, Tuesday

Enter Phubatiya. Lali and Shanichari's childhood friend. She is married to a truck driver and is fully filmi. She has got gifts for everyone and Lali again feels the pinch of not having a sakhi-todai gift for Shanichari. Munna is hungry and is upset with Lali because she is engrossed with her friends and not bothered about him. Lali goes and dances in a kali procession and gets gathers a lot of puffed rice for Munna and almost like Ma Kali's blessings the Pandit gives her a box of sindoor. Lali rushes to give Shanichari the sindoor as the sakhi-todaii gift but is unable to as Nanku comes and drags Lali away. As Nanku is dragging Lali away he comes face to face with Balli who has just exited Shanichari's house. Nanku is now very scared for Lali.

Ep-7 - 25 March 2009, Wednesday

Balli menacingly walks towards Nanku and Lali and blesses Lali for her gauna. This completely spooks Nanku and he forbids Lali from meeting Shanichari ever. Lali is upset and speaks to the scarecrow as though she is talking to her husband Ganeshiya. Nanku is so scared for Lali's future that he goes and gets old shoes and plans to repair and sell those to earn some money. Phulbatiya comes to Lali's house with her mobile phone and everyone is fascinated by it. Shanichari is all excited about her gauna and then she sees her parents with a wad of money and instantly realizes that she has been sold. Shanichari wants to tell Lali about it and sends a message through Munna that she needs to meet with Lali urgently.

Ep-8 - 26 March 2009, Thursday

Lali and Phulbatiya rush to Shanichari's house. Shanichari is crying inconsolably. Before she can tell Lali anything, Shanichari's mother comes there and covers up and asks the girls to organize for some singing and dancing. Nanku is trying to sell the repaired shoes in the market but Balli and his men disrupt the activity and Nanku is heartbroken. Lali and Phulbatiya are dancing songs of friendship and in the middle of the festivities, Shanichari sneaks out' and Shanichari walks into the river and drowns. Lali gets to know that Shanichari has drowned and she is shocked.

So this week's main plot was Shanichari. And we also get to know Laali further, by introducing her other friend, Phulwati. While we also find out that Bali is after Laali and want's to buy her, he is trying his best to get her by pressuring and putting obstacles in Nanku's path whenever he tries to earn some money for Laali's Gauna.

So the questions from this week are will Shanichari be saved? If she is saved will her parents still sell her?

And about Laali:

Will Nanku be able to gather money to do Laali's Gauna or will he fall into Bali's trap and sell Laali to him.
