Written Update Mar 16. First Episode!

Ok guys, this is the Written Update for the first Episode of:

Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo.

Since this is the first episode, the update is little longer, but once we get to know the characters properly it will be much easier to understand. If you guys have any questions or need any clarifications then please feel free to ask them here.

The show begins in a temple where women are doing some pooja near the water. And we see a girl standing and watching them. Then one woman accidentally drops some bananas into the water and the girl jumps into the water to get them. She pull pulls them out and is very happy seeing them. She runs with the bananas and other three kids start following her (two small girls and a boy). They call her laali didi. They all want to eat the bananas and are eagerly waiting to get them from Laali. She gives one to each and keeps one for her dad and mom but but none remains for Laali (the girl who brought them). She tells them it's okay, if you have eaten some then my hunger has also gone away.

Laali goes back to the temple where the pooja is going on. There she asks one of the woman (whom she calls thakurani) for some food as ashirvad. But the woman gets up and screams at her. She asks her why she is sitting here, and questions her on her caste. The women tells her to run away from here. Laali then goes up to another woman whom she knows and asks her for some food. The women then sees that there is sindoor on Laali and asks her that you are waiting for your gauna(future husband) right? She tells her don't worry, god will soon get your gauna to you.

The House

Now we are shown the house and the parents of the kids. All the kids are sleeping on the floor. It's a very small hut house. Now the parents are shown, the wife gives her husband the banana that laali kept for them. She asks him to eat it, but he looks upset. He says, until when will we go through this? What will be feed the kids tomorrow? He then asks her, you too havn't eaten anything since morning, and then they share the one banana that they have. He cries and says that he wasn't able to give happiness to you or the kids. But she teels her that even Shiv ji wouldn't have loved Parvati as much a you love me. (It's quite emotional)

They both go outside, and the man goes to sleep on a string bed (I know it as a manjha or you can also call it char pai.) His wife sits next to him and he tells her that tomorrow he will go to the city because there's a person there who is offering work. He also says that Laali is married and is still sitting in the house and has to run around all day looking for food for us.

The Next day:

Laali's small brother is peeking through someone's door, and the other two kids come there as well and they see many sweets being cooked in the house. Laali comes there and asks what they are doing there and she too sees the sweets but she asks all the kids to go home now. But the kids insist that they want to ask them if they will give some sweets to them, but Laali tells them that they will get them in the evening.

Laali's father is waiting for the employer(thekaydaar), the thekedaar comes and tells that he need's a lot of people today and asks everyone to come sit in the truck but when he spots Laali's father he tells him to stop because he has some problem in his leg. But Laali's father insists that there is nothing wrong and that he can even run but the guy refuses to take him. He then picks up a heavy stone to prove he's alright but then he falls. Then another guy comes there and offers to give Laali's father some work.

While Laali takes all three kids to the river side to get their attention away from food. But there the kids ask how will they get their food? Then Laali tells them that if they throw a rock to the other side of the river, our dad will get work, so then he will brings loads of food for us. They all start throwing rocks one by one and while on the aside their dad is shown chasing a mouse. He tries very hard to catch the mouse, falls on the way, get's thorns but isn't able to catch the mouse and finally when Laali throws the rock it reaches the other side of the river and their dad also catches the mouse.

Laali's father then brings the dead mouse to his boss and they give him some grains of wheat. The kids arrive there as well and are onlooking on to their father. The boss tells him this is enough for you, since he spent so much time catching one mouse! Laali's father then run's after his boss and pleads in front of them that his kids are hungry and that please don't do this to them. He cries, while the kids look on.

The kids then question Laali, that father didn't get money today either. So are we going to stay hungry today as well?

I think it was a terrific start to the show! It's a very appealing show, with a lovely star cast and a concept. The sets are astounding! Never seen such a beautiful village setting in any other serial before. This show is definitely worth the watch!
