glad to know someone else cried over that scene too and was emotionally touched by it...it is hard to acknowledge that over 80% of the world lives on a line of poverty that it beyond imaginable to us,i truly believe that a person on the brink of starvation can be driven to any extent...

also although i was expecting it i was still astounded by the reactions of all the others, the truck driver, the thakur who didnt pay her father for catching the rat, the woman who took the food back...i shouldnt be surprised but i never fail to understand what promotes such hard heartedness in ppl...

kudos to the show for bringing to light SO many imp issues...hope it continues as realistically as it has started!
