"Okay, we're back here. What now Raghav?" Trisha asked after stopping the car. They were back to the place where Bikram was shot.
Raghav raised both his eyebrows and faced her. "Aren't 'you' supposed to tell that boss?"
"No, I'm not. You brought us here."
"You drove." Raghav said innocently, making a puppy dog face.
Trisha hid her smile and stepped out of the car. The sun was shining directly above their head.
"After he shot Bikram, I ran after him. I know he won't do something that stupid but let's just hope that he left something worthwhile for us in his hurry to run from me."
So the team spread out and started searching the whole area. After a long time, Trisha suddenly called for them. They went there and gathered around her. The thing she pointed at was lying at the side of the road hidden from plain view by the roadside bushes. The whole team was rendered speechless on seeing it. They couldn't believe there eyes. Raghav kneeled down and picked it up. It was a mask of Dilip Chauhan's face. He put it on and changed into his former chief in front of his teammates.
"Oh my God! Trisha!!" Swati squeaked.
"We need to find him, now. I hope he's still alive." Trisha nearly whispered out the words.
"His wife was right then. She wasn't lying." Bikram's voice came from the phone. "Where are you going right now?" He asked.
"To the office. To report what we found. We've no idea what we'll do after that though." Trisha said and changed the gear. She jumped when her hand brushed against Raghav. Raghav noticed how cold her hand was. He made a mental note to rub her hands and warm them once they get out of the car. They reached their office at record speed and ran to the elevator. The doors of the elevator closed and Raghav moved towards Trisha. He took her cold hands in his and the other two turned their backs to them to give them some privacy. When the door of the elevator opened on their floor, Trisha's hands were warmer and Rajbir and Swati had smiles on their faces despite the serious situation.
When they reached their office, they found Mr Chawla talking to two other men. He introduced the men to the team.
"Meet Mr Bharat Joshi and Mr Shivam Shukla. They are both senior officers and will help and guide you in this case since we're dealing with an international criminal here. You will report the progress of this case to all of us from now."
Trisha and the team greeted them and then Trisha without wasting any more time informed them of their findings in the crime scene.
"Oh God! So this means, we still don't know who Vidushak is and your chief is in fatal danger?" Mr Vinod Chawla exclaimed. "Where do you plan to start the search?"
"We don't have any ideas at the moment." Trisha said while rubbing her forehead in frustration.
"I'm going to notify all the police stations about the development and tell them to stay alert. Meanwhile, I think you all should sit and think what to do next." Mr Joshi concluded.
P.s. In the last scene of the last episode, Vidushak had dropped the mask on the road after removing it. It's a small detail which I don't know if the CV's would remember but they had shown it. And I leave it to you to imagine the elevator romance in the last part of the third paragraph..
