Trisha woke up from her sleep rubbing her eyes as the rays of sun hit her eyes...she still had her phone in her hand...when she realized it...she recalled that Raghav had gone to Mumbai for some official work the previous evening which chief had handed over to him. She also wanted to go with him but her pending work didn't allow her to go. She let him go with a heavy heart as it was after a long time that he had gone out for work without her. She was having a strange kind of fear inside her which she wasn't able to express in front of anyone. She tried to convey her fear to Raghav while talking to him last night but then she didn't say as she couldn't afford to make him worry for her.
Both of them got engaged last week and were about to get married 3 weeks later. She remembered the day when Raghav had proposed her for marriage on her birthday. He took her out for lunch in a hotel resort which he had reserved specially for the occasion. After lunch and a dance with her, he confessed his love for her which was there in his heart since a very long time and proposed him for marriage. She had been waiting for this day since so many years and finally today she could hear from him what she yearned for. She readily accepted his proposal and both of them informed her parents about their decision to get married in the party which was organised at her residence in the evening. Her parents were also very happy to know about her decision as they too liked Raghav a lot and always found him a suitable life partner for their daughter. She was lost in all these thoughts when her mother came to her room.
Trisha's mom: kya baat hai Trisha? Aaj office nahi jaana kya?
Trisha: haan mumma jaana hai...I'll just get ready.
Mom: ok I'm waiting for you downstairs.
Trisha got up from the bed and soon was ready for office. After breakfast, she reached office as usual on time but today her mind was somewhere else...she wasn't able to concentrate on her work and the rest of the team members could make out that she is lost in Raghav's thoughts today. Somehow she managed to complete her work which was scheduled for today and went back home on time so that she could spend time with her family. She was constantly trying to call Raghav today but his phone was not reachable today. She was getting anxious as the time passed by and there was no contact with him since many hours now. She asked Swati also to trace his location but she also told her that his last traceable location was many hours back. The entire team became worried as to what might have happened to him and it was already very late in the night.
She was lying in her bed lost in her thoughts when she was brought out of her thoughts by the ringing of her phone. It was Rajbir on the other side.
Trisha: hello Rajbir, Raghav ka kuch pata chala?
Rajbir: Trisha...TV on karo..there has been a major blast in a mall in Mumbai...so many people have died and many more are injured...kahin Raghav bhi to...
Trisha: kya bol rahe ho...aisa nahi ho sakta...Raghav ko kuch nahi hoga...samjhe tum...
Trisha was shocked to hear this and immediately she switched on her TV to see the latest updates on the blast. She informed her parents also and they too became really worried to see all that. Trisha called up chief and asked for his permission to leave for Mumbai and search for Raghav. Chief although denied initially but realising her mental state, granted her the permission to go with Rajbir and Bikram. He didn't allow her to go alone as he understood that she needed someone to be with her in this stressful time.
The three of them took the earliest flight to Mumbai which the chief had arranged for them and reached there. Being CBI officers they didn't have any kind of problems in getting permission to search at the blast sites and the areas around that. It was already many hours to the blast and most of the dead bodies had been removed from there and the injured people were shifted to the nearby hospitals. They were searching through that entire site when Trisha came across a ring lying there in between the remains of the blast. She immediately recognised it to be his engagement ring and became sure that Raghav was here only when this blast happened and he has been through a mishap during this blast. She became all the more worried and when she showed that ring to Rajbir and Bikram, they too became very worried. They decided to search the nearby hospitals for Raghav. Trisha had constant tears flowing through her eyes and both of them were not able to console her today. Although everyone had a fear in their mind about the well being of Raghav, but none of them voiced it out seeing her condition.
They kept on searching one after the other hospital, but they didn't find any clue about him. Lastly they came to a small hospital which was quite far away from the blast site.
Trisha: yahan par bhi check kar lete hain...
Bikram: Trisha yeh hospital site se bahut door hai aur jo bhi hospitals ke naam hume wahan police walon ne bataye the...hum already check kar chuke hain. Yeh hospital utna equipped bhi nahi hai to handle blast patienets.
Trisha: I know Bikram...but poochne me koi harm hai kya?
Rajbir: Trisha is right...main pooch kar aata hu..
Rajbir went inside and after sometime came running...
Rajbir: Trisha...Trisha ...Raghav...wo andar hai...
All of them rushed inside to where Raghav was admitted. He was badly injured and was unconscious at present and he was put on a ventilator. The doctors told her that he was brought here by some local residents who found him at the blast site. He was in a very critical situation, they had done whatever best was possible for them but they were not sure of his chances of survival.
Trisha felt floor slip under her feet at that moment and she just could not speak anything...just kept on crying and praying for his well being. Rajbir called up her father and told him about Raghav's condition. Her father tried to console her but she was constantly crying. He then talked to Rajbir and arranged for his transfer to a hospital in Delhi by air ambulance. After few hours Raghav was shifted to a reputed hospital in Delhi and her parents were constantly present with her in this difficult time.
It was 2 days since he was shifted to Delhi but his condition was not showing any kind of improvement...rather it was deteriorating. All of them were very worried for him and Trisha who was about to get married to him in some days. They all knew that if something happens to Raghav, she won't be able to handle that. Trisha's mother came up to her and asked her to observe a fast...Karva chauth fast for his well being the next day. She told her about the significance of this fast and how this can do wonders which all medical facilities can't do. Trisha agreed to this and her mother took her home so that she could observe fast for Raghav the next day.
Trisha got up early the next day and did whatever her mother told her to do. The whole day she didn't have even a drop of water and religiously followed her mother's instructions. At night after the Pooja, she went to the hospital to see Raghav. She was surprised to see the expressions of relief and happiness on her father's face. He told her that the doctors had informed that his condition was showing improvement. This was really unexpected considering the critical situation he was in... all of them were very happy to hear this and Trisha thanked her mother for encouraging her to keep fast for his well being and now a miracle had happened and his condition was improving.
The next day Raghav's condition further improved and by evening his ventilator was removed. As he was showing a steady improvement , he was shifted to the ward the next day evening and all of them were allowed to meet him there. They asked him as to what had happened that day and he told them how he was there in the evening to buy something for Trisha in his free time...he bumped into someone there and his phone fell down and got damaged...so he could not contact anyone. While he was leaving from there, suddenly that blast happened and he didn't remember anything after that.
Everyone was very relieved to see him alright now and they left the room so that Raghav and Trisha could spend some time together. After they left, Trisha came close to him and sat on the bed.
Raghav: bahut bura hu na main...tumhe kitna pareshan kiya maine...
Trisha: bure to tum ho...kitna kaha tha maine...but mujhe lekar nahi aaye na...
Raghav: tumhe kaise lekar aata...kitna kaam pending tha na...to isliye...
Trisha: agar tumhe kuch ho jaata to...mera kya hota? Tumhe pata hai mumma ne mujhe kaha ki main tumhare liye Karva chauth ka fast karu...aur dekho...us fast ka chamatkar...tum theek ho gaye aur mere paas laut aaye...ab main har saal yeh fast karungi tumhare liye...
Raghav: aur main tumhare liye...kyunki main apni life ke har pal me tumhe apne saath dekhna chahta hu...
Both of them smiled and engaged themselves in a hug and thanked the Almighty to bring them together once again...they just prayed that nothing seperates them ever in future now and they can spend their entire life in each other's company.
