After some time her parents came back and felt very relieved to see their daughter with Raghav...they had waited for this day since such a long time. They always wanted Trisha to get married to him but because of her illness, they felt as if this dream of theirs would never materialize ever for her. Raghav was taking care of Trisha every minute from now onwards. He used to be with her like her own shadow and kept her busy with himself...never did he let her think about her illness...he was her strength and she felt complete in his company. He never left her alone except when she used to sleep, her parents used to send him to have some rest. After few days that day arrived when she was supposed to be operated. After her routine investigations and preanaesthetic check up, she was supposed to be given mild sedation and anti anxiety medications which the anaesthetist explained to her. But she denied any kind of sedation for herself as she wanted to be with Raghav till the very end moment before going to the OT. The doctors agreed to this when Dr Samrat explained it to him about both of them.
The hospital staff came to take her for surgery. Trisha looked at Raghav helplessly as if he was the only ray of hope for her in this deep ocean of sorrows. He understood her state and gave her a tight hug. Trisha had few tears drop down from her eyes which he wiped off.
Trisha : mujhe mat bhejo Raghav, agar main wapas nahi aayi to?
Raghav: tum aisa kyun soch rahi ho? Maine kaha na tumhe kuch nahi hoga...Bhagwaan ko bhi humare pyar ke aage jhukna hoga...tum bas himmat rakho...samjhi...tum jaao main tumhara bahar intezaar kar raha hu...fir hum dono ghar wapas chalenge...ok...tum jaldi se theek hokar mere paas aa jaaogi...mujhe pata hai...and he gave her a smile.
Trisha was being taken to the OT on the stretcher and she was holding Raghav's hand and he was consoling her that everything would be ok and that she need not worry...he is with her whatever may be the situation. As she was about to enter the OT, her hand slipped from his hand and she was taken inside...Raghav kept on standing there still with his hand still stretched out as if waiting for her to come back and hold his hand once again. Trisha's father came upto him and kept his hand on his shoulder to bring him out of his stupor. Raghav had tears in his eyes too and all of them waited outside for the surgery to be completed.
The surgery lasted for around 5 hours and after that Dr Samrat came out and told them that the surgery had been successful...but she won't be able to conceive in future...everyone was shocked to hear this but somehow composed themselves. Samrat also told them Trisha was fine but because this was a major surgery, she was being kept in ICU for observation for 2 days...all of them were relieved to know that atleast she was out of danger now.
They were allowed to see her one by one in the ICU but as she was still under the effect of sedation, they were not allowed to talk to her. After 2 days she was shifted to the room and then they were allowed to be with her. Raghav knew that its going to be a hard time for her when she would know that she won't be able to conceive in future. But all of them decided that Raghav was the one who would tell her and that too later...not now. When she saw her family with her, she was very relieved and had a slight smile on her face.
Trisha's father: ab kaisa lag raha hai my princess?
Trisha by her signalling told him that she was alright. They all knew that she was very weak right now and she needs rest. Her parents left her with Raghav after being with her for sometime.
Raghav: maine kaha tha na tumhe kuch nahi hoga...dekha main theek tha na...
Trisha(softly) : tum galat hote hi kab ho? And had a slight smile with a few tears in her eyes...tumhe pata hai main kitna dar gayi thi?
Raghav : aur main bhi...ab tum zyada baat mat karo, tumhe aaram karna chahiye...tum so jaao main tumhare paas hi hu.
He made sure that she had good rest so that she recovers fast. Dr Samrat along with her usual medications also completed her due chemotherapy cycles and in a few weeks time, she was about to be discharged. Dr Samrat told him that she was supposed to be on follow up regularly and they can't be lenient with her health now. But she can resume her work in some days and that is not going to be a problem for her.
It was her last night in the hospital and the next day, she was supposed to be discharged. Trisha again asked him about her future conception...the answer to this question all of them had been avoiding since these many days. Raghav understood that now it's the time that he should tell her the truth and he revealed whatever Samrat had told him.
Trisha although had some idea about this seeing the way everyone was avoiding this question...but still she being a girl...couldn't control her tears and she burst out crying. Raghav took her in his arms and tried to pacify her.
Trisha: tum India jaakar kisi aur ladki se shaadi kar lena...tum kyun mere saath apni zindagi...
Raghav (interrupting her): kya kaha tumne? Kisi aur ladki se...tumne yeh soch bhi kaise liya Trisha? Tumhe pata hai na tum mere liye kya ho...fir bhi tumne...sirf isliye ki tum kabhi...tum chahti ho ki main tumhare liye apne pyaar ko bhula du...no Trisha...is janam mein to yeh possible nahi hai...agar tum chahti ho ki main tumhari ichha poori karoon to mujhe doosra janam lena padega...aur uske liye mujhe apni life abhi...
Trisha placed her palm on his mouth and prevented him from completing what he intended to say. Both of them knew what they meant to each other and that they were made for each other. Raghav managed to convince her that they would get married once she recovers fully after reaching India. The next day she was discharged and they all flew to India. The entire team was waiting at the airport for their welcome, they took them to her home. After such a long time Trisha was back to her home with her family and Raghav. The entire team was with them today and they had all forgotten their grievances which had been cleared earlier itself.
Rajbir and Bikram made them laugh with their usual pranks and Swati helped Trisha's mother in preparing dinner for all of them. They all had dinner together and after that left from there. Trisha's health was showing steady improvement and in around 2 weeks, she was fit to resume her duties. Raghav had been in constant touch with the higher authorities and had been regularly updating them about her health status. She was supposed to join back her duty from today. After breakfast, Raghav came to pick her up and took her to office. When they both entered the office, the rest of the team members were waiting in the office for their welcome.
They had arranged a small party for them in view of all of them coming back to the office together after such a long time. Raghav made her sit on the chief's chair with the orders from the higher authorities regarding Trisha being appointed as the new director in his absence. Trisha was very happy today and felt as if she had got everything in her life...her life, her job and RAGHAV...who was more than anything else for her...
As they didn't have much work today, all of them left early from the office today. When Trisha and Raghav reached home, they saw her parents in conversation with a purohit who had been their family purohit since a long time. He after going through their kundalis, told them that one month later a date was very auspicious for their marriage. Her parents happily agreed and congratulated Raghav and Trisha for their future wedding. Finally after facing so many hurdles, the two who were made for each other had come together and were about to be united in the bond of marriage after few days. They were very happy today.
