DC: Zee back on track

Zee TV was hitting new lows on the TRP scale. But suddenly it seems the channel is on a reverse tangent.

The channel is recovering from its recent lows of 10 per cent. Zee has managed to improve its audience share to 14 per cent in the last four weeks.

While most of the old shows like Choti Bahu, Pavitra Rishta are still stuck in 2 and 3 TRP range, Zee's new launches are helping it put a decent performance. Hitler Didi at 8 pm is delivering an average of 2.5 rating and two-week old Afsar Bitiya has opened decently at 1.9 TVR against Saathiya at 7 pm band.

But what's really helping Zee is Dance India Dance which has livened up the channel's weekend band with 3.5 TVRs. While these are early days yet and the recovery path is back loaded with lot of pain, but it appears for now that Zee is stabilizing at current levels.
