Mahima Makwana, (born on 5th August 1999 - age 16) is an Indian television actress. Mahima first started her career as a child artist by appearing in Colors' popular show Balika Vadhu as Gauri in 2008. In 2011, she played the character of Sonu Dhillon in Imagine TV's Saware Sabke Sapne...Preeto. Mahima gained popularity for her role in Zee TV's popular show Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke as Rachna which started in 2012 and ended in 2015. On Sony TV, Mahima played the character of Disha in Dil Ki Baatein, Dil Hi Jaane. Currently she is portraying the characters of Manasvini and her reincarnation, Radhika in And TV's Adhuri Kahani Hamari opposite Laksh Lalwani.

~ABOUT MAHIMA MAKWANA'S CHARACTER~

Mahima Makwana plays the characters of Manasvini and her reincarnation Radhika.

Manasvini is beautiful in an old world way. She's a very intelligent, dedicated and fearless 16 year old. Manu has always dreamt and been trained to become a Devrakshika of the original Garud Temple in the world. Belonging to an ancient family, Manu was brought up with many restrictions knowing she would never live a normal life but still possessed a happy and vibrant personality. In fact, it is Prince Madhav that she is the most happiest with. Unaware of her beauty and unconscious of Madhav being a boy, Manu shares a very strong bond of friendship with him. Just before becoming Devrakshika, Manu and Madhav fall in love with eachother and get married but Manu is forced to hide the secret and fulfil the duties of a Devrakshika. Manu is tricked by Maya who becomes a Rajumari in disguise and sends her to jail where Maya finally reveals herself as an Icchadaari Naagin (shape changing snake). Manu escapes from jail and succeeds in exposing Maya. After much convincing, Madhav's family accept Manu as their daughter in law and the two are about to get re-married until Maya returns and murders the royal family members stealing the naagmani and Madhav in the process. Manu heads to Naimishya Ven to rescue Madhav. Both Madhav and Manu are killed by Maya where Maya also dies after being stabbed by Manu.

20 years after Madhav and Manasvini's death, her soul returns as Radhika and the new story starts off set in the modern world in Mumbai. Radhika is a valiant and outgoing girl. Often haunted by nightmares which are actually flashbacks of her previous life, Radhika visits Sitapur with her friends to complete a film documentary and ends up meeting Devsena who was in fact Manasvini's aunt. Devsena thinking that Radhika is Manu refuses to let her go and narrates the entire story of Madhav and Manu to her. Radhika returns to her home city, Mumbai and is given the task of getting Krish Malhotra's interview. Radhika visits Krish's home completely unaware of the twists that will appear in her life from then on ...
