Apparently, Ronit Roy who is currently seen as K D Pathak in Sony Entertainment's Adaalat was just recently commended for his work in the show. And just hold your breath when we say the name of the admirer. It is none other than the Queen of Melody, Lata Mangeshkar.

And the award winning actor is on cloud nine. You might be wondering how it all happened; incidentally, this happened over a phone call. The singing legend called up Ronit and told him how much she liked his character in the courtroom drama. Let's hear it from Ronit now. "Imagine someone like Lataji calling you up to appreciate your work. Though I myself am a very big fan of her singing, I was just too tongue tied to tell anything of that to her," beams the actor. In fact, he also tells us that the award winning singer follows his TV series regularly.

That is not it, now Ronit wants to have rendezvous with Lataji. "I want to meet her personally sometime and tell her how much I like her singing," ends Ronit.
