Jab dekha tha maine tumhe pehli baar

When I saw you for the first time

Ek moorat mein paaya tha tumhara deedar

I first saw a glimpse of you in a statue

Jab aayi mere saamne tum socha na tha kabhi

But you came in front of me I had never thought earlier...

Tumhe dekh khud ko bhool jaaunga bilkul hi

That I would rather forget myself

Yeh kaisa hai ehsaas andekha sa anjaana sa

This is a feeling so new unseen and unknown to me

Kya hua mujhe jaisa pehle kabhi na tha

I dont know what happened to me as never before

Kyun lagta hai mujhe jaise humara purana hai naata

Why do I feel we have some long time relation

Dikhta hai kuch aisa jo main samajh nahi paata

I do have flashes which I'm unable to understand

Seekha hai maine ki tumse hai dushmani apaar

I have been taught that you are my enemy

Par dil hai jo karta gustakhi baar baar

But my heart refuses to believe this time and again

Jab hoti ho tum mere aas paas

Whenever you are with me

Tum hi hoti ho us pal mein sabse khaas

You are the most important for me in that moment

Chahta hu karo tum apna sapna poora

I wish you fulfill all your dreams

Rahe na kabhi koi bhi kaam adhoora

No work of yours remains pending

Bhool jaata hu us pal main aur sab kuch

I forget everything else in that moment

Bas tum hi tum rehti yaad mujhe kuch kuch

I do remember you and only you

Kisi aur ke saath tumhe dekh ho jaata hu bechain

I am disturbed to see you with someone else

Jaane kyun dhoondte tumhe mere nain

My eyes happen to search for you here and there

Kuch to hain hum dono ke beech jo abhi hai anjaan

There is something between both of us which is still unknown

Kabhi na kabhi to hogi hume is anjaane rishte ki pehchaan

Sometime down the line we'll realise the truth of our relation
