Star Plus's weekend slots rarely do well honestly. I'm just glad that there was a slight rise- shows that something is working. So long as it continues to improve that's the important thing.

To be honest ITV viewers have no choice. They prefer to watch pathetic crap over any good stuffs.
Well ..we can't deny the fact most of the trp mass are little educated or uneducated. .so that reflects on their choice of tv shows .
Good movies like Bahubali and Dangal do great in box office because people contributing to movie going mass are more plush and richer and more educated.
That's why different stuffs can be made , experiments can be done , unique concepts can be explored in movies and that can be profitable too but that's not the case with tv shows.
You can't try any thing out of the box here.
Sad state of affairs.

Agreed with Lady Macbeth.
TRPs are a scary zone solely from the channel's pov. As long as SP doesn't scrap Aarambh, mid-way, I am not bothered about the nos.

Exactly..you have rightly pointed out the difference in success of Bahubali and Aarambh. Both the shows are made in a large scale and on royal/warrior story. But sadly due to the different set of audiences and their choices Aarambh is not getting the deserve viewership.
