Geet and maan settled in his cabin. They sat across the table and discussed what has to be done and they started working on their own laptops. It was a contrasting scene on the two sides of the table.

Geet spread all the papers and files in her proximity at a hands reach so that she looked at the files whenever she needed. But ultimately she had to turn and remove few files every time she needed a document.

Whereas maan only opened one or two required file worked from it removed it and then brought the next document on his table. His side seemed cleaner but everytime he had to move and organise his side for next part.

She caressed her growling stomach which craved for food. She scrunched her nose every now and then muttering her discontent over her hunger pangs and Maan's nonchalance.

Mein kha gayi mujhe bhook lagi thi, breakfast nahi kiya na isiliye aapke files kha gayi. She spat in irritation. Actually she was irritated becoz she was hungry but at the moment maan was becoming the cause of her irritation. Ye raha she slammed it on the table and once again turned to check the time in the watch.

Geet' his jaw tightened on her sudden scrunching and irritation. He cudnt gather the reason behind it.

She made a pout, twisted her lips and went back to her work.

I need this file can u bring it? It will be in my secretary's room.

She pushed back her chair with force and muttered while leaving the room.dusht danav.

Maan saw her struggling with the hap hazard files in her secretary's room. The secretary was not very organised or efficient, so the files were not in order. He walked to the room to help her. as she already seemed in foul mood.

Geet had her back to the door and was talking to herself when he entered.

Ek to lunch time mein kaam karvate hain or meeting mein bhi juice pila diya, pucha bhi nahi tumko kuch khana hai'khud kuch nahi khate mujhe bhi taang karte hain. She found the file and quickly walked past him to avoid further confrontation. He followed in the room and picked up the phone.

I will order pizza for u.

Mujhe snacks nahi lunch karna hai.

Thik hai close ur work we will go out for lunch. He looked at his watch its 3 we will return in 2 hrs or so and then complete our work.

Nahi fir mujhe party mein jaldi jaana hai. My friends will wait for me.

To tum kya chahti ho? He was loosing his patience now.

I will have pizza but a large one.

Hhhmmm. He pushed the phone towards her assuming she wud make the order but she didn't register his action and waited for him to make the move. He nodded his head and started making the order.

He ordered a Thin crust non spicy chicken pizza.

Geet again scrunched her nose. He kept a hand on the phone.

Now what??? What else do u want?

Uummm jalapenos''.extra cheese'..uummm.

He handed over the reciever to her order for urself.

Make it large plzzz'and yes'.Spicy, extra cheese. Jalapenoes'..and uuummm cheese garlic bread and yes one choclate cupcake'..anddd'uummm.. bas ok. She smiled and gave the phone back to him.

Make sure no mushrooms. Fine.

Geet smiled. He kept the phone.

Poore baarat ko khilana hai?

Nahi mujhe' she again sat back pacified that atleast now her hunger pangs wud be satiated.

Maan saw how sweetly she shoved bites after bites in her mouth and worked with the other hand. How much he had asked her to finish her food on the couch with him but she refused. Ultimately he had to also sit on his chair and eat. Everytime she needed to type she wud wipe her hands with a napkin throw it on the table itself and work. she was really hungry that was visible by the way she had quickly finished more than half of her pizza while maan had just taken few bites. He tried hard to concentrate on reading the file in his hand but her animated moves distracted him'.the way she wud bite into the slice and pause after glancing at something before pulling away the pizza'..her licking and biting her lips to remove the traces of food''.once she even fed her cheeks'..then she took three bites at a time before wiping her hands and her mouth was so full that she cudnt even chew properly''ufff her idiocyncrasies were so cute.

He had seen her eat earlier too once when he had gone up to IE when she was sharing lunch with yash, pari, adi and pinky. They had been eating from each other's food. Maan had never done that. It had been peculiar for him then but soon he realised that it was common in geet's gang. But today she didn't put her hand on his pizza. Even when he didn't approve of this he wanted her to do it once. Maybe just out of habit but she didn't.

She had finished most of her lunch. But her hands were still trying to look for the garlic bread in the box. When she didn't find any in the box she looked at the box finally to find it empty. She licked her fingers and closed the box when she realised maan was looking at her. she immediately pulled out her finger closed the boxes and started cleaning the place.

U want more then u can have mine. He offered her his pizza.

Nahi. Im done. Actually I forgot to ask u if u wanted the garlic bread. I just munched it off.

Yeah. She looked at the cup cake thinking of ways to cut it into two. Maan looked at her as she picked up the cake and brought it up close to her face and was contemplating something with scrunched nose.

What??

Nothing. She tried to break the small cake into two and did so with ease but made a mess of it in her hand. She offered him one piece. He looked at both the pieces both were in such shape that if he attempted he wud crush them in her hands or they wud land on the floor. She shrugged her shoulder and made a pout.

I cudnt do it better. Ummm. Ok. she came across the table and with much effort pushed one piece into his mouth.

Her fingers touched his lips. He tried to hold it with the help of his hand. He was still trying to get the cake when geet felt the first touch of his lips. Something sudden jumped in her heart. She drew back her hand. Maan still busy managing the big piece in his mouth was oblivious to the sudden change in her expression. When she sat on her chair and took in bites, everytime her fingers touched her lips the memory of his lips came to her. she cud feel herself getting warm and pink. She stole a glance at him but he hadnt marked it.

They both caught up with pending work, discussing in between. They had lost the sense of time. Geet's phone started buzzing.
