Chapter 17

"A WALK FOR REVENGE"

Khushi got up from the bed wrapping a quilt around and got into the bathroom to freshen up herself . she was a bit confused with his behaviour. Though she was now used to of his anger but she just woke up and he screamed at her on the top of his voice was a bit confusing for her. She got out from the bathroom wearing an another dress and stood in front of the mirror applying her little makeup. She was feeling shy within herself seeing herself in a dress like that. A one shorter that she wore last night. She had never wore a western outfit in her entire life and now she is wearing it which hardly cover her thighs then forget the legs.

She murmured to herself-"seems like I have to spend my entire vacations in these dress ..."

She had no work to do as she was instructed neither to step out of the room nor to open the door for anyone she took out her novel and climbed up the bed to read it. Though she was feeling a bit hungry but she don't want to disobey him . she kept on reading the novel and didn't remember when she fall asleep. She was indeed tired too. She hardly slept for few hours and hunger makes her sleepy too.

After finishing his meeting Arnav returned back to his hotel room but he could not forget what happened in the morning. He was hell angry on himself, the service boy and somewhere on his Di too for replacing Khushi's luggage. He knocked the room but their was no response from that end then he remembered his own instructions to her. He took his master key and opened the lock to enter the room where he sees her sleeping on her stomach on the entire bed like a bow with a novel kept aside. And as usual her blanket was on the floor he picked up the blanket and covered her again when again the door bell rang for the room service. He opened the door to see a service girls standing with some packets . he had given strict instructions that no male attendant is allowed to even roam near their room. They were not even allowed in the lobby. He instructed the girls to keep the packets inside when khushi woke up with the sudden noise.

She stood up and yawned hard. She instantly wrapped herself and stood straight as if a army chief had entered her room. Gathering some strength she said.

Khushi-"I am sorry ...I don't know when I felt asleep.."

Arnav-(though he was not In a mood to reply but she was being sorry for no reason so he had to reply)-"that's fine..."

Khushi-"by the way when did you came??"

Arnav-(with not taking much interest in the conversation)-"a moment ago..."

Khushi-"ohhh...that means I woke up on time...( and smiled)

Arnav was walking towards the bathroom when he remembered to tell her-"I have bought some things for you...just check them..."

As she saw the packets she was filled with joy...she instantly got up from the bed forgetting about her dress and rushed to him.-" GIFTS!!!!! (with full of excitement) For me...(and she hugged him tight and swinged him) aawww...you are so nice...thank you...thank you...thank you...thank you...(and she rushed to open the packets...

As she opened she saw some beautiful anarkalis for her. All very pretty and they seemed to be expensive too. She asked him-" all these are for me..." but he was busy just looking at her antics.

"aww..they are so pretty " and she took the one and stood in front of the mirror keeping and adjusting the dress on her. She asked looking in the mirror-"How is this looking???". Geting no reply from him she asked him again now constantly looking at him..."TELL NA..." and then she notices that he was just blankly looking at her. Suddenly she realise what is she wearing. It was a backless black above the thighs dress. She felt so so embarrassed that she started stammering..." wo...actually..." and tried covering herself with the anakali she was holding in her hand.

Suddenly seeing her nervousness Arnav got back to his senses. He started brushing his hair and looked down. "Yeah...all this is for you... wo actually I thought...(and he intension turned the other side showing his back to her) that you don't have anything so just bought it for you...go and change first.

She hurriedly got into the bathroom as he was showing his back to her. After sometime changing into a light yellow anarkali she stepped out. Comfort was visible on her face. But looking at him comfort was replaced by embaresement . she sat in front of him on the couch.

Khushi-"wo...Arnavji..."

Arnav-(while working on the laptop)-"speak..."

Khushi-"thanks a lot for all this..i really.."

Arnav-(cutting her in the middle)-"no need for that...I don't want anyone to look at the Raizada family's ladies with evil thoughts..."

Khushi-"matlab??"

Arnav suddenly remembered that he was not suppose to tell her what happened in the morning. He wanted to change the topic urgently-"nothing...did you have anything..."

Khushi just nodded a NO with a pout.

He found it a bit cute and asked-"then order something...even I am hungry..."

She hurriedly picked up the phone and ordered a huge list and then asked him-"what would you like to have..."

He looked at her with widened eyes that every thing she ordered in her list was just for her. Khushi asked him again..-"tell na..."

Arnav-"huh..anything..."she ordered two three more dishes and sat in front of him again with a broad smile.

Khushi-(trying to initiate a conversation which he wanted to avoid)-"eerrmmm...Arnavji...how was your meeting..?"

Arnav-(still checking his mails and avoiding looking at her)-"hmm...nice..."

Khushi-"can I ask you one thing..?"

Arnav-(not really wanted to answer her but still asked her)-"speak"

Khushi-"eerrmmm...are you always like this??"

Arnav-(looked at her in one go)-"like this...means...?"

Khushi-"I means ...always like this engrossed either in your phone or laptops...??? Don't you like going out ???"

Arnav-"going out...??"

Khushi-"arrey...I mean we are on vacations na..can we just go out..??"

Arnav had already understood what she meant but he was trying to avoid this-"hmm... Wo...you want to go out with me..? are you not scared..? like yesterday...(and he smirked)

Khushi knew what he is talking about and she stammered a bit feeling uncomfortable-"wo..wo I know you wont be able to do anything in the crowd...so I am safe..(and she smiled on her intelligence)

Arnav-"ohh...really...what if I take you to a lonely place...then???" (and he winked looking at her)

Khushi's word could not escape from her . " how can he say like this...??" she was thinking something and wanted to run away from their when suddenly the door bell rang indicating that it their lunch...she instantly got up from their and stammered-"I ... I ...just come.."

And he understood her nervousness and muttered under his breath-"crazy girl..."

Khushi opened the door and 2 waitress bought their lunch. It was so much that one person was not enough for that food. As khushi saw the food she got too excited...she was very hungry...the waitresses kept the food in their room and took the exist. Arnav was surprised to see so much of food. Khushi bought the plates and started serving the food. She served him first.

Khushi-"see...I ordered these two dishes for you...(and she started serving him..) and then she continued- " but that doesn't mean I will not eat from this...you have to share..."

Then she opened the other 5 dishes which she ordered for herself and give Arnav the very little quantity from them. And took large quantity of his dishes. Arnav was noticing all this and could help himself from smiling. She was too happy and was about to start eating when she saw him not eating...

Khushi-"eat na...you don't llike all these...should I order more...?"

Arnav (reacting immediately)-"NO...No...its more than enough and he started eating..."

Khushi too started eating and finally after some time they both finished.

Khushi (after finishing took a deep breath and throw her back on the couch she was sitting..)-" aahh... my stomach is full...aahhh...I cant even move a inch"

Arnav saw her and she looked to pretty holding her tummy. "then why you ate so much..."

Khushi-"aahhh..."

Arnav-"now get and wash your hands first"

Khushi knew he gets angry very fast so holding her tummy she stood up and went inside the washroom to wash her hand. When she came back she saw the table and couch were neatly arranged again.

Khushi-"why you did all this..i was coming back na..then..." and then she sat on the bed -"I don't have a minute space left in my tummy to even drink little water...and she pouted cutely.

Arnav-(with a smile on his face)-"then get down from the bed and walk ..that will help you to..."

Khushi-(with dangerously serious tone and started getting up)-"Arnavji..."

Arnav didn't understood what happened all of a sudden-"what..."

Khushi getting close to him -"you smiled..."

Arnav was taken aback with her statement. How can he do this...he was suppose to be rude with her then...her turned other side to show her his back

Khushi-"when was the last time you smiled...I had only saw you in your AKADU avatar..."

As he heard her calling him AKADU, he instantly turned back to see her -"what did you just said...??"

Khushi hate herself for blustering out all this...she chewed her lower lips in nervousness and then after sometime to escape from the situation she hurriedly said-"I think you were right...let me go out for a walk..i will feel better...and without listening any further form his end she ran out of the room like a bullet from a gun.

Arnav had never seen a girl like her. This was the 2^nd time she was calling Arnav Singh Raizada AKADU. People are scared of him and this girl is different...she is very brave indeed..though he always denied but yet the truth was he was falling for her. He too followed her out for a walk as he didn't wanted her to go alone afterall what had happened today in the morning.

He came out of the room and saw her waiting for the elevator , As she saw him coming near her she just wanted to disappear from their. She shut her eyes tights as she knew a storm was approaching her. Suddenly to her good luck the door of the elevator opened and she was about to enter when she heard him calling her.

Arnav-"Khushi...just wait..." and the door was about the close when he pulled her out.

Arnav-"what are you doing?? You have to go on a walk and have to digest your food na...so why are you using elevator...use these stairs.."

Khushi-"WHAT??? I mean Arnavji we are on 14^th floor and how can I walk so much..."

Arnav-"common now...you have already ate so much..now just do what I am saying..(he found a good opportunity to revenge her for his spoiled night and calling him AKADU)

Khushi-"huh..." and he almost dragged her to the stairs and they started walking down. Slowly-slowly they reached the ground floor from where their walk began.

Khushi-"where are we going Arnavji...I have already walked enough??"

Arnav-"SSHHH...just start walking.."

They started walking , they hardly walked few steps then she started.

Khuhsi-(holding her knees and taking deep breaths)-"NOo...Arnavji I cant walk more...please lets go..."

Arnav-"its just the start...and you cant stop like this...common hurry up and he hold her hand and again started walking. After walking few miles she just gave up and sat on the road and he was damn enjoying this. Controlling his laughter-"now what..."

Khushi-"I cant take an another step from here now...please...not even a single morsel of food is left in my stomach...please.."

He took some mercy on her , she was panting high and he knew she is an asthma patient so he decided to go back and with this they started walking backwards. She was too tired even get up from the road. He helped her to get up and with the speed of snail she started walking backwards. Every step for her seemed to be of million miles to her. Finally after taking several breaks between they reached their hotel. Before he could deny on the use of elevator she rushed and to the elevator and before he could even reach she pressed the button of their floor. After some time he too reached their floor. He enjoyed the walk a lot. It was simply splendid seeing her cuteness throughout their walk.

He opened the door and she without doing anything just threw herself on the bed .

Arnav-"so how is your stomach ache now...you want to eat anything more"

Khushi-"NOOO...i just want to sleep..."

Arnav-"okay..and he too changed his clothes and started doing some work whereas Khushi too was engrossed reading the novel.
