Getting the blank response from the class, to her enthusiastic views, she frowned, and crossly told both of Arnav and Khushi to take their seats, without any room for more arguments. Okay fine. Another one of Raizada's face my torture lessons. When was this misery ever going to end Devi Maiyan? Khushi thought to herself busily. She shot him another disgusting look, and looked down as the other two candidates were silently laughing at their endless bickering.

Having made all the groups, Khushi looked at Vivek who was in a miserable state himself, stuck with some odd looking people who she hardly even knew. One was a girl, she didn't know about, who eh was sitting next to chatting with her, particularly the only person he was keeping a conversation with.

Arnav looked at Karan, who was seated in the group right next to theirs, which seemed pretty much more stabilized then the other three groups in the class. There eyes met, and Arnav only slightly pointing at Khushi, kept his palm on his forehead, making a sick face, as Karan laughed at his expressions, and gave him a thumbs up sign. Arnav looked away from him annoyed, and back to the people he was sitting around, his irritation only growing.

As the teacher briefed, them on their task and how they could start planning Khushi upon the commandment immediately got into action.

"You (looking at Samrat, who shied away from her), can bring the supplies", she said but was taken aback by his shy nature.

"He thinks girls are sinful creatures, I was hoping that Vivek told you about that", Mayank joyfully whispered into her ear, too which she nodded giving him a vary look, and asked him to convey her message, who assuredly assumed control.

"Look, me and him, we'll both handle all the supplied needing for the project, you and Arnav can make the project together", Mayank suggested, which obviously made sense, but was victim to serious resentment from both Arnav and Khushi.

"No, I can't work with him at all, that too together? Never." She openly rejected the idea, with Arnav piping in 'absolutely', entirely horrified at the offending suggestion.

"Khushi, group work remember?" Mayank said tactfully trying, to get to her soft spot, which would convince her easily.

"Okay fine." She said in an exasperated tone, receiving a shocked look from Arnav.

"Arnav, you fine withit?"Mayank asked him, with common curtsy, but being already high on anger right now, Arnav henceforth burst out on him.

"Did you leave me with a option, nut head?", he snapped at him, as Mayank shook his head, trying to get rid of the effect of Arnav harsh words. Khushi was highly offended by his off handed behavior, and was only compromising due to it being a matter of academics, or otherwise she hardly cared for a nit-wit like him.

"Alright, so you two get can get the supplies by tomorrow? It's a weekend after that so the two of us can have the thing finished at my home." She informed her group fellows casually, bringing in another set of objections to herself.

"Why you home? It will be done at my home" Arnav objected, already panicky with working with her, and now more irritated with her assumption of control over the three boys.

"We can take turns alright. Tomorrow you can come, Saturday I will" she said, trying her best to control her anger, and reach a compromise. Thinking of the prospect he gave in, not in the mood for enough arguments, there had been enough ups and downs, for a day.

"We'll get the supplied by tomorrow", Mayank piped in, as Samrat nodded in agreement still looking away from Khushi, who was deeply amused with his odd reaction.

Tomorrow would be a hell of a day at home. He was enough to bear at school, that now he was to come home to sicken her further. Gosh! She wondered, what was going to happen, tomorrow?

Regarding The Title

Heartless Models- This is easy to decipher I guess, it's a Bio project, they have to make a working model of a heart, what other reason do you need for this title to be just there? Besides, making a heart, virtually and physically both will be done, as you will see, and also in specific reference to this chapter, all you saw how their heart and mind is giving fluctuating reactions, they are in a mode of refusal, something triggers a chord in one, and the other drags it back to square one. Correction, its really not square one they keep escaping into, it's the ups and the downs, that will help develop the bonding between them.

Events In The Chapter

I know now developments at all, a bit boring too, but I do need chapters like these to build up the stories, it situations like these that bring all the characters to light, and since this is school life, its eventful all the time, one thing after the other keeps coming and that's what is happening to the character.

Please note, that Khushi hid the diary from Vivek, because she doesn't blindly trust him yet, she is still a skeptical and tries to keep the safe side for herself, so she just wound't want to share her most personal thing with his yet. Check out the color of the diary? Rings something? *winks*

Also, Karan is calm and composed in situations, but with a by like Arnav he needs to be tough too, and so do notice the diversity with which he treats different people.

Another important thing, Shyam-Anjali love story has also started, so its like three love stories together, you saw a glimpse of Payal and Aakash together, you have been seeing Arnav-Khushi bickering for quite a while (obviously), and yes in this chapter a bit more characters have been brought to light. Do refer to the Character Sketch to characters you find new, and our unaware off.
