Rekindling Love

As Sanyogita entered with a laden tray, the aroma of freshly brewed coffee, sizzling bacon, and toasted bread filled the air, intertwining with the sweet fragrance of her perfume. Her gaze locked onto Prithvi, scanning him from head to toe with a hint of suspicion.

Her eyes narrowed, taking in his formal attire - crisp shirt, tailored trousers, and polished shoes.

"Are you going somewhere?" she asked, her voice laced with a mix of curiosity and concern.

The soft clinking of utensils on the tray accompanied her words.

Prithvi feigned indifference, his focus on gathering his essentials: wallet, mobile, and car keys. He double-checked his pockets.

The rustle of fabric, the soft jingle of keys, and the creak of leather echoed through the silence.

Sanyogita's hands moved deftly, tying her long hair into a neat bun. Her eyes never left Prithvi.

"Where are you going?" she pressed, her tone tinged with suspicion. Her voice was steady.

Prithvi's silence was palpable. He ignored her presence.

The air thickened. Unspoken words hung like mist.

Sanyogita's raised eyebrow ,her grip on Prithvi's forearm tightened, her fingers digging deep into his skin. Her voice took on a desperate urgency, laced with a hint of fear. "What's wrong with you? I asked you something."

Her eyes bored into his, demanding answers, sparkling with unshed tears.

Prithvi shrugged off her grasp, his movement abrupt. His tone was detached, icy. "Anywhere."

The word hung in the air, heavy with unresolved tension.

Sanyogita's gaze followed him, drifting towards the door. Her eyes narrowed, concerned etched on her features.

Her voice remained steady, but her words trembled with emotion. "What do you mean by 'anywhere'? You can't just leave now!"

Prithvi's silence was deafening, a palpable force that filled the room.

His gaze fixed on the doorway, willing himself to escape.

Sanyogita's hands clenched into fists, her nails digging into her palms.

Her eyes flashed with concern, a mixture of fear and frustration.

"I didn't ask for your permission!" Prithvi's retort was sharp. In a blend of rudeness .

A spark of anger ignited in Sanyogita's eyes.

The air crackled with tension.

The scent of breakfast, once inviting, now lingers stale. Morning light streaming through the window highlighted the rift between them.

Sanyogita stood firm, her slender frame blocking Prithvi's path, her feet rooted to the spot. Her eyes blazed with determination.

"Okay, fine," she said, her voice steady, but her words laced with a hint of desperation. "But at least tell me when you'll return?"

Her gaze pierced his, searching for reassurance.

Prithvi's curt response sparked irritation, his voice clipping the words. "I'm not sure."

Sanyogita's frustration simmered, her jaw clenched, and her lips pressed into a thin line.

"Fine," she spat, her tone biting. "Tell me exactly where you're headed."

Prithvi's retort was laced with hurt and defiance, his eyes flashing with anger and unresolved frustration.

"Does it even matter?"

The air thickened, heavy with unspoken emotions, as Sanyogita's eyes locked onto Prithvi's, searching for answers he seemed unwilling to give.

The silence between them pulsed like a living thing.

Prithvi's jaw tightened, his eyes avoiding hers, evading the truth.

Sanyogita's eyes blazed with a mix of confusion and anger, her voice cracking with desperation. She grasped Prithvi's hand, pulling him closer, her touch igniting a spark.

"What do you mean ?" she pressed, her words laced with accusations. "Who doesn't think highly of you? Do you want to abandon our child?"

Her glare intensified, piercing his defences.

Prithvi's gaze remained fixed on the door, avoiding her piercing eyes, his escape route beckoning.

"I didn't say that," he muttered, his voice barely audible, lost in the chasm between them.

Sanyogita's grip on his hand tightened, her nails digging into his skin.

"I have a prenatal exam scheduled," she urged, her tone laced with desperation. "Who will take me to the doctor?"

Prithvi's response was callous, his words slicing through her vulnerability. "You're capable of doing that!"

His tone cut deep, slicing through Sanyogita's resolve. Her face crumpled, emotions unravelling like a torn thread.

The words hung in the air like a challenge, heavy with unspoken accusations.

Sanyogita's face twisted in a mix of pain and anger, her eyes flashing with emotions. She shoved him gently, her palms pressing against his chest.

"Okay, so what now?" she demanded, her voice laced with desperation. "You're going to become a father and just... ready to leave?"

Prithvi's silence was deafening, his eyes still fixed on the door as if willing himself to escape the confrontation. His jaw is clenched, shoulders tense.

Sanyogita's words hung in the air, a stark reminder of the responsibilities he was trying to flee. She took a deep breath, composing herself.

"Okay, whenever you want to go, you can buy after finishing breakfast," she said, her tone measured. "After that, you have to take your medicine too."

Her eyes narrowed, ensuring he understood.

"I'll tell Kumar that I informed the driver, and your bodyguard will also accompany you."

Her words dripped with a mix of concern and frustration.

Prithvi seethed, agitation boiling within. Turbulent emotions ravaged him – rage, self-loathing, and frustration “ I didn't ask you to be concerned for me" . His legs were heavy with grief, so he stepped toward the door.

Sanyogita moved swiftly, her slender frame blocking his path. She closed the door shut, the sound echoing through the room, and locked it from the inside.

Her eyes blazed with anger, fiery sparks dancing in their depths.

"What makes you think you're entitled to do whatever you want, knowing no one will question you?" she spat, venom dripping from her words.

Her voice trembled, a leaf rustled by an angry breeze.

Prithvi raised his hands, defensive, palms facing her a gesture to stop.

"Sanyo, I don't want to debate this with you!"

Sanyogita's laughter was dramatic, a crescendo of hurt and anger.

"acha, ab mujhse baat karenge k waqt tumhe debate lagta hai!" ("Oh, now you want to talk to me when it's convenient for you!")

Her words cut deep. Prithvi flinched.

Sanyogita's gaze pierced his. "Did you ever mean those promises?"

She spat, her voice venomous. "Why did you promise to take care of your princess forever, to protect your child, if you never intended to keep those promises?"Her voice cracked.

Prithvi's face contorted, guilt and defiance locked in a fierce battle. His eyes flashed with desperation as Sanyogita breached the fragile walls he'd built to shield himself.

But Sanyogita was unstoppable, driven by emotions beyond reason. Her hands slammed into his chest, palms spreading wide, sending him tumbling onto the bed. The mattress creaked beneath his weight.

Prithvi's back hit the soft surface, his shoulders sinking into the pillows. His legs splayed, helpless.

Sanyogita loomed over him, her slender frame radiating intensity. Her fingers grasped his collar, knuckles white, her grip unyielding.

Her teeth are clenched, jaw set. A tendon pulsed in her neck.

"Sanyo, what are you doing?" he repeated, his voice low, menacing. A whispered warning. A growl of frustration.

Her breath danced across his face, warm, and urgent. Prithvi's eyes locked onto hers, pleading. His hands rose, palms up.

Prithvi grasped her wrists, trying to loosen her unyielding grip. "San... stop..." he pleaded.

But she wouldn't relent.

Sanyogita's grip on Prithvi's shoulders tightened as she straddled his lap, her legs apart, her face inches from his.

"Answer me, what's going through your mind?" she demanded.

Her eyes blazed with a mix of anger and desperation.

Prithvi's gaze met hers, his eyes wide with surprise, pupils dilating in distress. Sanyogita's voice cracked, fragile as glass, as she continued:

"Itne naraz ho ki apne baby ko bhi chod kar jaana chahte ho?" ("You're so angry that you want to leave your own child?")

Her words trembled, weighted with pain and hurt.

Prithvi's heart galloped, pounding in his chest like a wild animal struggling to break free. His ribcage seemed to constrict.

Sanyogita's voice softened, a gentle breeze on a summer's day, yet urgent, pressing.

"Acha, tumne mere liye nahi, at least apne baby ke liye toh ruk sakte ho na?" ("Okay, not for me, but at least for your child, can't you stay?")

Tears welled up in her eyes, brimming over like an overflowing river. Her voice trembled.

"Tabhi nahi ruko ge?" ("Won't you stay even now?")

The question hung in the air. A poignant plea. A heartbroken mother-to-be's desperate cry.

Prithvi's face contorted. Emotions raw and exposed. His eyes searched hers. Seeking answers and solace.

The tension between them was Heavy with unspoken words.

He seemed lost, unsure of how to respond to Sanyogita's anguish. The tension between them was palpable, heavy with unspoken words and unresolved emotions.

Sanyogita's face drew closer, her warm breath dancing across Prithvi's mouth, sending shivers down his spine. Her lips hovered inches from his, tantalisingly close.

Her curves pressed against his chest, the vibration of his heartbeat echoing through her body.

Her hands encircled his neck, fingers intertwining.

She planted tender kisses all over his face:

On his forehead, soft as a feather. On his cheeks, On his jawline. Her touch ignited a fire within him.

Prithvi's eyes fluttered closed. His resolve crumbled.

"What... are... you... doing?" he stammered.

His words are lost between her kisses. His lips parted. Inviting more. Sanyogita's kisses deepened. Savouring the taste.

The scent of her natural fragrance captivated him in an intoxication of her madness.

Prithvi's words dissolved between Sanyogita's kisses, lost in the fervor of their union. His lips parted, inviting more, as her tender touch ignited a fire within.

Sanyogita's kisses deepened, savoring the taste, her lips tracing the contours of his mouth.

Her natural fragrance enveloped him – a sweet, heady scent of rose petals and warm skin.

Prithvi's resolve crumbled. He extended his arms, hands encircling her waist, fingers pressing into her soft skin.

A wild desire surged to rip apart her clothes, revealing the beauty beneath. to reclaim her for eternity, to reclaim her as his. To silence those lush plum lips, shutting out the world. To make her forget everything except his name.

But he reined in his emotions, tamping down the flames.

Prithvi's breath hitched.

As Sanyogita's soft lips travelled down his neck. An icy sensation coursed across his spine, sending shivers dancing.

His pulse quickened. Heart racing. Skin tingling.

"San...yo...stop..." he whispered.

His voice is a mixture of air. A plea. A warning. A whispered confession.

Sanyogita's lips paused, hovering above his skin as her warm breath caressed his neck, sending shivers down his spine. Their eyes met, and sparks flew between them. A sensational smile radiated across her adorable face, illuminating her features.

As her fingers danced around Prithvi's shirt buttons, each touch sent electric shivers coursing through his veins. He clutched her hands, his grip tightening as he realised she was about to unfasten them.

"What are you doing, Ja...?" he choked, his voice laced with a mix of surprise and desire.

Sanyogita withdrew her face from the crook of his neck and met his complaining gloomy eyes again.

Her eyes loathed with innocence, and her voice cracked as she whispered, "Itne naraz ho, aapne Sanyo ko 'Jaan' keh kar bhi nahi bola sakte." ("You're so angry, yet you can't even call Sanyo your life")

Her breath caressed his lips, sending shivers down his spine. Prithvi's eyes searched hers, but he remained silent. He tried to push her away, to climb down from the bed, but Sanyogita's grip was unyielding. She jerked him back, and he fell onto her, their bodies aligning in a tender embrace.

Sanyogita's arms wrapped around his neck, holding him close. "Bahut naraz ho?" ("Are you still very angry?") she asked, her voice soft and gentle, her hold on him tightening.

Prithvi's heart began to melt at her touch, his gaze lost in her puppy eyes. Her warm breath on his face and neck sent shivers down his spine.

As he struggled to contain his emotions, his voice caught in his throat. Sanyogita's proximity was suffocating, yet he couldn't push her away. He was trapped in the depths of her eyes, unable to escape the desire that simmered between them.

Prithvi's eyes searched hers, but he remained silent. He tried to push her away, to climb down from the bed, but Sanyogita's grip was unyielding. She jerked him back, and he fell onto her, their bodies aligning in a tender embrace.

Sanyogita's lips brushed against Prithvi's, sending shivers down his spine. He felt himself being pulled closer, her warm breath enveloping him.

As she took his lower lip into her mouth, Prithvi's eyes snapped shut, his fists clenched. But before she could deepen the kiss, he pulled back, his voice laced with a mix of desire and frustration. "Why are you doing these things?"

Sanyogita's eyes sparkled with mischief as she stood before him, her arms looping around his neck as she rose onto her toes, her lips inches from his.

"Why do I do these things to you, don't you know?" she whispered, her voice husky.

Her gentle bite on his bottom lip sent Prithvi's heart racing. He gazed at her, his emotions in turmoil.

"I don't," he whispered back, his voice barely audible.

Sanyogita's eyes locked onto his, her gaze burning with intensity.

"Why do I crave only for you? Didn't you know?" she asked, her voice laced with longing.

Prithvi's heart wrestled with a maelstrom of emotions, his gaze entrapped in Sanyogita's piercing eyes. The air was heavy with unspoken words, their love and longing hanging precariously in the balance.

Sanyogita's touch had ignited a wildfire within him, threatening to consume his every rational thought.

"Why are you doing this?" Prithvi burst forth, his frustration and emotions boiling over like a tempest.

"You told me to stay away, yet you're pulling me closer. What do you want from me?" The words tumbled out, laced with desperation.

Sanyogita's grip on his neck tightened, her eyes blazing with a mix of pain and anger, the flames of hurt flickering in their depths. "If only you had told me the truth," she whispered, her voice cracking beneath the weight of her emotions.

"Why did you hide this from me?" she pressed on, her words dripping with anguish.

"Have you any idea what I went through when I saw those clips? I wished for death at that moment. I couldn't bear the thought that it was you..." Her voice trailed off, Sanyogita's hands dropping from his neck as she struggled to contain her emotions.

She closed her eyes, taking a deep breath to calm the storm raging within her. The silence between them was oppressive, punctuated only by the sound of their ragged breathing – a stark reminder of the chasm between them.

Prithvi's voice was tinged with sarcasm, his lips curling into a bitter smile. "I tried to explain, but you'd already convicted me in your mind. You assumed the worst, simply because I'm a man. If I were a woman, perhaps you'd have given me the benefit of doubt. But no, I was just a pawn in your game of accusations."

The words seemed to strip him bare, leaving his soul vulnerable. Sanyogita's eyes snapped open, her gaze meeting Prithvi's. For a moment, they just stared at each other, the tension between them palpable.

Prithvi's expression turned icy, his eyes glinting like frost. "Tumhari problem kya hai, Sanyo pata hai ?" he spat, his voice laced with hurt and anger, the words tumbling out like venom.

"You never try to understand the whole truth. You just jump to conclusions and pronounce judgments."

Sanyogita's eyes welled up with tears, her gaze faltering beneath the weight of his accusation. Prithvi's words sliced through her, each one a precision-cut wound.

"Tumne aath saal pehle bhi mujhe galat samjhti thi, aur aaj bhi wohi samajhti hoon ," he continued, his tone dripping with bitterness.

"You were right then, and you're right now. I'm not worthy of love. I'm only capable of lust and desire. I don't care about emotions or feelings."

The words hung in the air like a challenge, a gauntlet thrown. Sanyogita's gaze locked onto his, her eyes brimming with tears, her heart racing.

She opened her mouth to speak, but Prithvi cut her off, his frustration boiling over like a tempest. "If you want to leave, then fine," he snarled.

"We'll get a divorce soon enough. But I'll get custody of my child first. Then, you can go wherever you want. I won't ask you to meet again for what's left."

The threat lingered, a palpable menace. Sanyogita's heart pounded, her breath catching in her throat. She felt the ground shifting beneath her feet, her world tilting.

Prithvi's tone suddenly softened, but the lingering frustration still simmered beneath the surface. His words, laced with pain and vulnerability, hung in the air like an unanswered prayer.

"How could you think I'd harm my own child?" The question pleaded for understanding, his voice cracking under the weight of his emotions.

"I love my baby more than life itself... and you accused me of killing my unborn child?" The anguish in his eyes was a palpable thing, a living entity that writhed like an open wound.

His gaze, once bright and full of life, now seemed dull and lifeless, his trust shattered into a million pieces. The weight of his sorrow was crushing, his heart heavy with grief.

Sanyogita saw the torment etched on his face and her voice trembled as she spoke. "I don't know what I should do then if you'd told me the truth on the very first day." Her words dripped with regret.

"Thousands of times, I've thanked God... Radhika helped me trace the mobile with her friend's help. And I decided to hear everything from you." Her voice faltered.

"I called you several times, but you weren't answering my phone calls . Nor did Arjun tell me anything." Sanyogita's eyes locked onto Prithvi's.

"Now, tell me, what should I have done?" Her voice was laced with a mix of emotions – hurt, anger, and desperation.

"Even after seeing the clips, I couldn't bring myself to believe it was you," she continued.

"I still have faith in you, Prithvi. I was waiting for you to explain everything to me, but you pushed me away, saying you were busy with a meeting." The pain in her voice was a mirror reflection of his own.

Their gazes met, two wounded souls locked in a dance of hurt and betrayal.

Her lips quivered, her eyes welling up with tears. "You left me clueless, Prithvi. And then, you went out and drank so much...

“Did you ever stop to think about what could happen to you? What if... what if something terrible had happened to you?" Her voice cracked, the fear and anxiety she'd felt still raw and palpable.

Their gazes met, two wounded souls entwined in a delicate dance of hurt and betrayal. Sanyogita's lips quivered, her eyes welling up with tears like morning dew.

Her words hung in the air, a poignant reminder of the vulnerability they shared.

Prithvi's gaze locked onto hers, his eyes startling in their intensity.

His lips parted, his voice barely above a whisper. "I wanted to tell you everything, but I didn't want to ruin the moment." His breath caressed her skin.

"I planned a surprise trip to Kanyakumari farmhouse, just the two of us, for five days." His voice trembled with longing. "I yearned to spend those days with you, to cherish every moment. You'll return home after eight days, and I couldn't bear the thought of tainting our time together with the darkness of my mistakes ."

Sanyogita's heart skipped a beat as Prithvi's words painted a picture of their future.

"I knew your heart was still heavy with grief over your sister's case," he continued, "and I wanted to be your solace, your happiness. That's all I desired."

His eyes, red and moist, locked onto hers, pleading for understanding.

"I didn't cheat on you, I swear." His voice cracked. "I was unaware of what was happening... When I woke up in the hospital, Arjun told me everything. I was relieved they found me before anything worse happened."

Prithvi's voice dropped to a whisper.

"I couldn't even imagine myself capable of such a heinous act... I was lost, consumed by darkness. But you, Jaan, you taught me what love truly means." His gaze burned with intensity.

"And yet, the person I trust most in this world, the one who holds my heart, accuses me of the unthinkable." His words hung in the air, a painful reminder of their fractured trust.

Sanyogita's heart ached as Prithvi's voice cracked.

"It's always been you, Jaan." His words spilled out like a confession. "I don’t want anybody else; I don’t dream about anybody else. It’s only you."

Their gazes met, the air thick with emotion.

Prithvi's chest constricted, his emotions overwhelming him. He spun around, trying to hide the vulnerability that threatened to consume him, but Sanyogita was his Achilles' heel, his greatest weakness. His voice cracked, his words barely audible as he struggled to contain the turmoil within. The pain of her accusation, the weight of her distrust, was suffocating him.

Sanyogita's gaze lingered on Prithvi's chiselled form, her eyes tracing the contours of his broad shoulders, his chest heaving with suppressed emotions. She saw the struggle, the desperation to appear strong, to conceal the vulnerability that threatened to consume him. Her heart heavy with empathy, she reached out, her right hand settling on his shoulder like a gentle breeze.

Prithvi's eyes remained shut, his lashes trembling as he fought to control the moisture welling up within. He felt her soft touch, the warmth of her hand seeping into his skin, but he didn't turn to her, unable to face the depth of his emotions.

Sanyogita's arms enveloped Prithvi from behind, her face nestling into the curve of his shoulder, her warm breath caressing his skin. Her voice whispered against his ear, sending shivers down his spine.

"I understand you're guilty," she murmured, her words laced with a mix of sadness and longing. "You think you're the only one who cares, who loves, who wants to make me happy." Her voice cracked.

"But did you realise that this hide-and-seek game of secrets and lies brought our relationship to the brink of collapse?" The weight of her words settled upon him like a physical burden.

With gentle force, she turned him to face her. Their eyes met, the turmoil within him reflected in their depths like stormy waters. Prithvi's gaze faltered, his eyes avoiding hers as if ashamed.

The air was thick with unspoken words, the weight of their emotions hanging precariously in the balance, like a delicate scale.

Sanyogita's voice trembled. "You have hidden so many things from me before, too." Her words dripped with hurt.

"Why didn't you tell me you beat that Jagga goon and his men so badly they'll never stand up again?" Her eyes blazed with a mix of anger and pain.

Prithvi's eyes snapped back to hers, his gaze piercing.

Sanyogita's eyes locked onto his, her voice barely above a whisper. "Ek baat sach sach bataoge ?." (Tell me one true thing).

"Who was behind Narayan Rao's disaster?" Her gaze was piercing, her eyes burning with intensity.

The silence between them was oppressive, heavy with anticipation.

Prithvi's chest heaved, his heart racing like a wild animal trapped in his ribcage. His silence spoke volumes, a deafening admission of guilt.

Sanyogita's voice rose, her words piercing the air like daggers. "I asked you who was behind Narayan Rao's disaster. You still told me a lie." The accusation hung between them, a challenge that dared Prithvi to respond.

Prithvi's gaze faltered, his eyes avoiding hers as if ashamed. His jaw clenched, his voice low and menacing. "Whatever happens to them, agar tum in sab jhamelon main nahi padho to better hi hoga." (It's better if you stay out of this).

His words dripped with warning, his eyes flashing with a hint of danger. "Those are none of your business," he growled, his tone a warning.

Sanyogita stared at him, unblinking, her gaze unwavering. A smirk spread across the corner of her lips, a subtle challenge.

"Kyun?" she asked, her voice laced with sarcasm. "If I know, what will happen? You've suspended Rishi, ensuring he never finds a job at any news channel in Mumbai, or anywhere else?" Her voice dripped with mockery.

Her eyes sparkled with amusement. "You've suddenly developed such concern for Rishi?" The sarcasm in her tone was palpable.

Prithvi's face darkened, his eyes narrowing. "You don't understand, Sanyo," he hissed, his voice barely above a whisper.

Sanyogita's smirk deepened. "Oh, I understand perfectly. You'll make their life hell if anyone insults your wife." Her voice was laced with irony.

The air was thick with tension, their emotions hanging precariously in the balance like a delicate scale.

Prithvi stared at his wife speechless.

"You don't know what's going through me," she said, her voice laced with desperation. "When I found out everything... you went somewhere without any hints... Na Jaane kaise-kaise khayal aa rahe the mere man mein." (I don't know what thoughts were running through my mind).

Sanyogita's eyes locked onto his, her voice barely above a whisper. "Rishi's challenge keeps playing in my brain... he will damage you at any cost." Her words sent a shiver down Prithvi's spine.

"One minute you meet Rishi before, but when?" Prithvi's voice was low, his eyes narrowing.

Sanyogita's shoulder rose and fell with rapid breaths, her voice trembling. "On the same night you saved me from Jagga and his men... Rishi was outside Radhika's apartment." The words spilled out like a confession.

Prithvi's eyes widened, his gaze intensifying. "What happened?" he demanded.

Sanyogita's voice poured out, a torrent of emotions. "I handled the situation and thought perhaps he can't do anything." Her words hung in the air.

Prithvi's smirk twisted, his eyes glinting. "This time you played hide-and-seek," he accused.

Sanyogita's eyes flashed, her voice rising. "I didn't want to you to involvein this matter . I thought I could handle it." Defiance laced her tone.

Prithvi's face darkened, his jaw clenched. "You should have told me," he growled.

Sanyogita's voice burst forth, a tangled web of frustration and fear. "I didn't tell you because I didn't want you to become a target for those insane people. You'd smash them down, and they'd come after you." Her words spilled out in a rush.

"Police are there to punish them, Prithvi. We can seek help. But one mistake from you fuels Rishi's revenge. He'll stop at nothing to bring you down." Her voice trembled.

Prithvi's gaze dropped, his eyes fixed on the floor. He acknowledged his mistake, the weight of his secrets crushing him. His shoulders sagged, his chest heaving with a mix of guilt and relief.

"I was trying to protect you," he whispered, his voice barely audible.

Sanyogita's voice continued, each word a gentle stab. "You even hid Nishant's bail release from me." Accusation laced her tone.

Prithvi's eyes snapped back to hers, filled with regret. "I didn't want to worry you," he said, his voice laced with apology.

Sanyogita's arms wrapped tightly around him, her body stretching up to meet him. Her lips brushed against his forehead in a gentle kiss, a soothing balm for his frayed emotions.

Prithvi's face descended, his eyes locking onto hers, moistened with unshed tears.

"How many secrets have you kept from me, Prithvi?" Sanyogita's voice softened.

Prithvi remained speechless, his shoulders sagging beneath the burden of his secrets. His gaze faltered, his jaw clenched. He knew she spoke the truth.

"I'm not taunting you," she whispered. "I'm scared for you, for our baby. By confronting these people head-on, we're digging our children's graves. Can't you see that?" Fear laced her words.

Prithvi's arms enveloped her, holding her close. "As long as I'm with you nobody can dare you to keep their evil at you and my baby. I won't let anything happen to you or our child," he vowed, his voice filled with determination.

"I already witnessed that " Sanyogita's voice was laced with sarcasm and bitter truth.

The air thickened, heavy with unspoken words, emotions teetering on the brink.

Prithvi's eyes welled up, his gaze plummeting like a falling star. Adheeraj's accusations replayed in his mind, a haunting refrain. A maniacal laughter threatened to erupt, but he stifled it. His chest is heaved, as if weighted by the anchors of guilt.

"I know it's all because of me, my past," he whispered. His voice cracked, shattered glass barely holding together.

"Thank God my child and my wife are safe..." His words faltered, relief mingled with anguish, a bittersweet fragrance.

"I don't know how I'll ever forgive myself."

His words trailed off, lost in the abyss of self-blame, the silence a palpable weight

Sanyogita's hands cradled his disheartened face. Her touch was warm, reassuring, a gentle breeze on a summer's day.

"Sshhh, I trust you," she whispered. "No explanations needed. "

Her palms absorbed his pain, a soothing balm. Her eyes, pools of compassion, mirrored his turmoil, reflecting the depths of his sorrow.

“I just want you to understand that people like Rishi will never change,” Sanyogita said, her voice a gentle melody, soothing the raw edges of Prithvi’s guilt.

Her words dripped like honey, warm and comforting.

Prithvi’s eyes locked onto hers, brimming with tears, like morning dew on fragile petals.

Sanyogita’s gaze scanned his face, witnessing the guilt and self-blame etched on his features. Her eyes traced the lines of sorrow, the creases of regret.

Her fingers brushed against his cheek, wiping away tears. Her touch was soft as silk, gentle as a summer breeze.

Prithvi’s skin tingled under her caress.

Her hand cradled his face, warmth seeping into his soul. “Sometimes, we must avoid them,” she continued.

Her voice wrapped around him, a reassuring embrace. Prithvi’s breath caught, his heart swelled with gratitude.

"I couldn't afford to lose you, no matter what," she vowed, her voice trembling.

"I can bear insults from freaks like Rishi, Narayan Rao's local goons, even Nishant. Police will handle them. We can't take the law into our own hands."

"I'm scared, Prithvi," she whispered."Not for myself, but for our child, our future. We need to protect it."

Sanyogita's heart constricted, as if an invisible hand squeezed it tight. Her gaze roamed Prithvi's face, witnessing the guilt and self-blame etched on his features like scars. She knew he bore the weight of their recent turmoil alone.

Her fingers grazed his cheek, wiping away tears from the corner of his eye. Her touch was a tender whisper of love and support.

"I don't want you to add more enemies to our life because of me," she whispered. "If you're with me, we can handle them another way."

Prithvi's gaze locked onto hers, unblinking, his eyes brimming with tears.

Prithvi's gaze locked onto hers, unblinking, his eyes brimming with tears like a stormy sea.

"I couldn't bear the pain of losing you, no matter what," he vowed, his voice trembling.

His words dripped with conviction, sealing their bond.

"If anyone casts evil eyes on you, it burns the very molecules of my body," he whispered.

His breath caressed her skin, sending shivers. "My top priority is you, always Jaan," he declared. " Your safety, your happiness, your well-being."

"I'll shield you from the world, protect you with every fibre of my being."

Sanyogita's arms enveloped him, holding him tighter than ever before. Their bodies aligned, a perfect fit. Their hearts synchronised, beating as one. Their love pulsed like a radiant flame. The air vibrated with emotion.

In this timeless bubble, only they existed. Their love shone like a beacon. A guiding light against the darkness.

After a brief silence, Sanyogita pulled back, her gaze meeting Prithvi's. They remained entwined, their arms a sanctuary.

"Promise me," she whispered, "you'll never hide anything from me again."

Prithvi's face descended, his forehead touching hers.

"I promise," he whispered back. "No more secrets." He added" But Jaan you too promise me you will never lie to me onwards "

"I did that because you weren't ready to hear me!" Sanyogita said, her voice adorable.

"Because I anticipated the danger, that's why I stopped you," Prithvi replied, his smile tender.

Their eyes locked, a promise forming between them. "We'll never keep secrets, no matter how much it hurts," Sanyogita vowed. "We'll tell each other everything, before any misunderstandings arise."

Prithvi agreed, sealing their pact with a gentle kiss on her forehead. "Let's start fresh, our relationship renewed."

She nodded with acknowledgement that their lips met in a fierce, desperate kiss, as if the world around them was crumbling. It wasn't a gentle, sweet caress, but a passionate, all-consuming embrace. Prithvi's warm palms crushed her back, pulling her closer. They broke apart, gasping for air, their chests heaving with emotion.

After a brief silence Sanyogita pulled back her head to meet his gaze , they were still holding each other in arms.

"I'm sorry, Prithvi. I was so harsh with you... .." Sanyogita's voice trailed off, choked with emotion.

Her gaze wandered over Prithvi's face, her smile a gentle, soothing balm. "Itna kuch suna diya maine... kheech ke ek chanta ( slap) nahi laga sakte!!" Her voice trembled, on the brink of shattering.

Prithvi's lips curled into a poignant smile, a mix of happiness and pain. "Kya main itna zalim pati hoon, jo meri zindagi ke upar hath uthao wunga?" His eyes, deep pools of emotion, searched hers.

Sanyogita's smile faltered, tears welling up in her eyes. Prithvi's gaze was transfixed on her radiant orbs, where happiness and sorrow entwined like a puzzle. She flung her arms around him, holding him with a ferocity that spoke of her desperation to never let him go.

Prithvi's embrace tightened, his arms enveloping her like a shield, safeguarding her from the world. Their hearts harmonised, a symphony of love and forgiveness.

In that moment, their bond was unbreakable, a testament to the power of true love.
