Chapter 1

Rey woke up in the morning with a smile adorned on his face as the sun rays greeted him . And his smile just grew wider at the sight of the love of his life sleeping peacefully besides him , snuggled into his tight embrace . He gently kissed her forehead as his heart swelled with joy as it seeped in the ecstatic feeling .

He knew now what contentment felt like and words like love , belonging and completeness no more sounded abstract or shallow to him . She was all his and now he knew no living entity in this world could separate them . Their undying love had overcame the toughest time of their lives and they were where they rightfully belonged , in eachother's solace.

She lost the count of the times when she had wished to be loved , the times when she had craved to be his and now when her life had bestowed her with everything she wanted , she vowed that this time , no matter whatever happens she would never let anything come between them . He was her center of universe and she was a part of him and not apart from him .


He opened the door only to witness the beautiful reality of his life. There she was sitting on the bed , in his as she had clutched it possessively like it was her priceless belonging . The gentle breeze caressing her undone hair and the crimson red tinge on cheeks made her look all the more alluring. she stepped out of her trance as she felt those hazel eyes gazing at her making her turn blush some more if it was even possible .


No matter how much ever hard she tried to speak , her words died then and there in her throat . The same was his state . They had never experienced such happiness in their entire lives , they didn't know if words would make sense at this moment.
" Errm Kria ", He finally let out as she looked into those eyes for the first time .
"Yes Rey " , she spoke in a haste , the unknown hesitation making them both smile .

" Get ready and meet me in the hotel lobby for breakfast "

"Hmmm" , was all she could mutter .


He saw her entering the lobby and he couldn't help but admire the angel that she was . The way she walked graciously , her innocent voice , her simplicity , her vulnerability and he could go on and on . He felt like the luckiest man in the world who had her besides him .

They started heading towards restaurant as she joined him . She was stealing glances from him and every time their eyes met , she unknowingly blushed . He knew she would take time to absorb the overwhelming feeling . She was continously fidgeting with her hands and trying to find the right words just like him . He smiled .

" I love you " , he spoke softly as he held her hand .
" I love you Rey " , as she grasped his hands , absorbing his soothing touch .

It had been 2 months since they became one in true meaning .

If someone would ask Rey how he felt at this moment , he would say he felt more close to himself . Her mere presence was purifying . She made him believe even though world comprised of evil , there ought to be some divine creations which made this place worth living .

Before she stepped into his life , his life was meaningless . He presumed he was the sole king of the state and anything and everything worked according to him . She changed his perception . She made him believe that life was full of struggles and challenges and there is no easy escape to it . Her head-strong personality made him fall in love with her ..

Life was uncertain and unpredictable . It always had been . When he had given every cent of himself to their relationship and seeked for her love , fate snatched her away from him . He had tried to erase her from his life and end the culminating sadness by concealing the vulnerable Rey with THE Reyaansh Singhania . And when he had finally learnt the art of being practical and rational , she returned , to remind him that he was flawed .

He knew she loved her as much as he did but somehow he felt , he wasn't able to reciprocate the same amount of love to her . Because he was guilty . He could not get over the fact that he didn't trust her , he believed those infinite lies she spoke that fateful night . He cursed himself each and every moment for not trusting her while she trusted his love all along.

Rey wanted to set every thing right . He wanted to assure her that no matter what it takes , he will be with her forever . Life was to short for regrets and they had already lost a lot of time .He was aware of the fact that life was never a bed of roses but with her , he was sure he would overcome all the hurdles and barricades .

Sundays are usually exhilarating .They are meant for charging you up for the upcoming tedious week .

Kria and Reyaansh rather preferred spending it in eachother's arms , whispering sweet nothings and enjoying eachother's company which they were usually deprived of owing to their hectic life .

It was yet an other usual Sunday . They had decided of watching a flick and Kria somehow convinced Rey to watch it .

Rey was least interested in the movie but he didn't mind as she was clutched into his tight embrace and she didn't protest to his occasional smothering kisses as she was too engrossed in the movie .

The movie finally ended with an oh so obvious together forever ending .
Rey glanced at Kria who was in deep thought . She pulled back from his arms and sat staright next to him

" Rey , do love stories in real have happy endings just like these movies ? Will our love story be a perfect as these fictions ?" . Rey smiled at her innocence .

" Kria you know what , our love story is way better than these idiotic flicks , because they comprise of me and you and not some Miss perfect and Mr. Perfect . Ours is full of bumpy rides , we falter in our path and hopelessly stumble down due to obstacles but we have eachother besides us na ... Our undying love overpowers all the calamities in life . We both are flawed , not perfect and that's what makes our life worth living " .

Kria hugged him tight feeling satisfied as he kissed her forehead .

"I love you Rey , you make my life livable " , she spoke emphasizing on the meaning of each word .

" I love you too sweetheart , you make my every moment worth cherishing . "
