A Seed of fear
A Seed of Fear
"Vrishti, beta, come help me with the tea," Romita called out, her voice breaking the spell, as Vrishti and Rajveer parted ways, each lost in their own thoughts, the connection between them still palpable.
Romita listened intently as Vrishti recounted her encounters with Rajveer, her eyes widening with a mix of surprise and concern.
"A chairman of a real-estate company, you say? And he's been pursuing you with such fervor?" Romita's voice was laced with skepticism.
Vrishti nodded, her expression defensive. "We're just friends, Aunty. He's been kind and helpful, that's all."
Romita's gaze pierced through Vrishti's words, her mind racing with doubts. She knew the ways of rich businessmen, their penchant for pleasure and power. She feared for Vrishti's innocence, her vulnerability.
"Vrishti, beta, be cautious," Romita warned, her voice low and urgent. "Men like Rajveer don't usually bother with girls from humble backgrounds unless they want something. Don't let your heart cloud your judgment."
Vrishti's face is set in determination. "I won't, Aunty. I promise. I'm not looking for love or anything. I just want to focus on my career."
Romita's expression softened as she thought about Rajveer. She had met him briefly, and he seemed like a genuinely nice person. His eyes sparkled with kindness, and his smile was warm and gentle. Yet, a part of her was still scared, still concerned for Vrishti's well-being.
She had seen the scars on Vrishti's heart, the wounds that still lingered from her past. Romita had witnessed her niece's struggles, her fears, and her doubts. She knew how vulnerable Vrishti was, how fragile her heart still was.
But as she thought about Rajveer, Romita couldn't help but feel a glimmer of hope. Maybe, just maybe, he was the one who could heal Vrishti's wounds. Maybe he was the one who could bring light into her niece's life, who could make her smile again.
Romita's heart swelled with a mix of emotions - fear, concern, and hope. She wanted Vrishti to be happy, to find love and healing. And if Rajveer was the one who could do that, then Romita would be eternally grateful.
But she couldn't shake off the feeling of caution, the need to protect Vrishti from getting hurt again. She would keep a close eye on Rajveer, watch him carefully, and make sure he was worthy of Vrishti's love.
As she sat in silence, Romita made a silent prayer, hoping that Rajveer would be the one to bring joy and healing into Vrishti's life. She wanted her niece to find happiness, to find love that would last a lifetime.
Another side of her knew the world of the wealthy, their secrets and their scandals.
…..
As they stepped out of the house, Rajveer couldn't help but feel an overwhelming sense of awe for Vrishti. He gazed at her, his eyes drinking in the beauty of her soul. She was more than just a stunning woman; she was a woman with a heart full of kindness, compassion, and strength.
Rajveer felt his own heart swell with gratitude, humbled by the privilege of being by her side. He realized that he had much to learn from her, about the true meaning of love, about the beauty of vulnerability, and about the strength of resilience.
.......
Especially when the weather changed, Rajveer and Vrishti stepped out of the house, they were greeted by a bright, sunny day. The warmth on their skin was a welcome change from the earlier rain. As they walked out, Priyam, who had been waiting eagerly, ran up to Rajveer, his eyes shining with excitement.
