Chapter-1

Arnav Singh Raizada arrived at Manali with his brother Akash singh Raizada and Friends NK sharma and Lavanya Kashyap. They were all working for the Raizada's latest Business venture "Space". "Space" was a new television channel started by Arnav and Lavanya, It was their brain child. Akash had already worked on many travel shows, now he was doing the same for their own channel now and this was going to be NK's debut as a cinematographer.

They checked into a Hotel room already Pre-booked by Aman. Arnav first wanted to visit his Dadi's Ashram but decided to put his work first, just like his Dadi would have wanted. the next day began with a new enthusiasm for the four of them. They began with shooting the most famous places in Manali, exclusive Theatre shows, tribal life and markets, everything that they could present before Viewers as intrestingly as possible.

Arnav was so far satisfied with whatever they had shot, only editing was left to be done.

" Hey Guys I was thinking about visiting Dadi" said Arnav.

" Arnav you know vthat Subhadra Dadi will not approve, she renounced this life to embrace spirituality" replied Akash.

" Well she won't have to know that it's a personal visit" said Arnav.

"What do you Mean" asked Lavanya.

"We will tell her that we are there to shoot the life at the Ashram for our viewers." replied Arnav.

" You know Arnav it's actually a good idea, we have shot every aspect of Manali and this can be a addition with spiritual aspect of Manali as well" said NK.

" So it's done then, it will be a personal as well as professional visit." said Arnav.

Only he had no Idea how personal it was going to be.

Subhadra Devi looked at the young girl who was industriously scrubbing the ashram floor, beads of sweat ran down the surface of her skin. Definitely well bred born and brought up with a silver spoon,hardworking and determined thought Subhadra Devi. Two days ago she had once again requested Subhadra to let her join as Sanyasi but Subhadra had rejected her request.

this girl was not made for a life at the ashram. She only wanted to be here for the safety it provided. She was not ready to accept her into the ashram even before the girl had started her life.

" I have finished the work guruji" said Khushi standing before Dadi now.

"Good Bitiya, go and have your evening bath now" said Subhadra.

Khushi walked away from there dejected at not being appreciated for her work.

Subhadra Devi liked Khushi- She was beautiful, hardworking and sincere in everything she did. She was the kind of girl she would have preferred for her grandson if she had been living with them.

Khushi walked down to the nearby lake, the water was too cold. She was wearing her inskirt tied around her chest and it ended just above her knees. She closed her eyes tightly whispering

" Hey Devi Maiya Raksha Karna" as she got into the ice cold water".

Arnav asked Akash and Lavanya to pitch the tents and went to take a walk nearby when he reached a beautiful lake. He looked down at the lake and watched the ripples blankly when he saw a head emerge from it followed by creamy slender shoulder and arms. He saw the person push her hair away from her fce. Her face was now clearly visible to Arnav who stood there mesmerised. She was beautiful shit no she was breathtaking. She had still not noticed him, she was shivering because of the water's coldness.

"Devi Maiya Devi Maiya Devi Maiya" whispered Khushi as she took another dip.

Arnav smiled at her antics.
