Hi Guyss! 😃 first of all I wanna thank you for all the lovely comments. even though I don't reply to all of them, I read them very carefully and smile😊. not only one time, actually I read thm 2-3 times. Then, i wanna apologize I know this part is very late. Plzz forgive me. and yea...u guys can call me shani. well...here goes...
PART 6
Sharon was arranging her books when Taani arrived. As soon as she saw Taani, she looked at her watch as a sign of protest.
"I know, I know, I'm late. Sorry" Taani said
"Where were you?" Sharon asked raising an eyebrow.
"Actually I was talking to somebody" said Taani
"Who?" asked Sharon, curiosity bubbling up in her eyes.
"Oops!" said Taani "I forgot to tell you about it"
"What?" asked Sharon.
Taani then explained about whatever happened between her and Rey, from the time she hit him till them deciding to meet up after class.
"What did you say his name was?" asked Sharon
"Reyaansh" said Taani
"Reyaansh? You mean that Reyaansh? The one we have been hearing about since we came?" asked Sharon
"Yep. That's the one" replied Taani
"Hmmm..." said Sharon "Everyone says he's hot"
"What hmmm?" asked Taani "We're just friends okay?"
"Yea Yea" said Sharon in a teasing manner "Friendship is what evolves into something else real soon"
"Oh shut up Sharon" said Taani blushing "It's nothing like that okay?"
"Some people say he's a big flirt" said Sharon
"I didn't feel anything like that while talking to him" said Taani "And by the way, you have to come to the canteen too okay?"
"Why? His brother will be there no?" said Sharon "All the girls say he's hot too. As you have already chosen Rey, I'll have to go for his brother"
"Oh god Sharon! I just wanted to introduce you, as you are my best friend" said Taani "But if you wanna see his brother, I don't mind"
She winked and they high-fived.
SCENE SHIFTED TO REY
Rey, still thinking about Taani, started lazily searching for Swayam. Finally he found Swayam in the Boys' locker room.
"Swayam!" asked Rey "Where were you bro?"
"Rey! There you are" said Swayam "I have been looking everywhere for you man. Where have you been?"
"I was...uh..." said Rey
"Looking for...what's her name?...ya! Taani. You were looking for her no?" asked Swayam
As soon as Rey heard her name, he felt a kind of ticklish, happy feeling. He shook the feeling off and said:
"Yea...you know me too well bro. By the way, I'm meeting her in the canteen after class. You have to come too, okay?"
"Okay" said Swayam "I really have to see this girl. I mean...she's incredible. She stole my brother's heart so quickly"
He started laughing.
"Oh shut up Swayam" said Rey blushing and started laughing too.
AFTER CLASS
Rey had been waiting for the bell to ring for what seemed like years to him. He couldn't concentrate in class. He had been sitting, tapping his foot and bugging Swayam, asking him what the time was every 5 minutes, as he had forgotten his watch at home. At last when the bell rang, he jumped up, took his books, and dragged Swayam out of the class.
"Chill bro" said Swayam "We will reach there in time"
"Okay okay" said Rey and started walking slower
Rey wanted to run and get to the canteen as fast as he could, but Swayam wouldn't let him. So, he thought of an idea.
"Hey Swayam" said Rey "The sports meet is coming soon isn't it?"
"Yea" said Swayam "I am so going to win the running race this time. Every year we both come in tie"
"Oh really?" asked Rey "You'll beat me? In your dreams"
"Ya right" said Swayam "You'll loose this time bro"
"Let me see then" said Rey "Last one to the canteen is a smelly sock"
He started running.
"Then consider yourself nicknamed" said Swayam and started running too.
SCENE SHIFTED TO THE GIRLS
The girls had already reached the canteen. They stood with their backs to the entrance, talking. Sharon had a cup of juice in her hand.
Rey and Swayam reached the canteen. Rey, in front was looking back at Swayam while running with a victory smile on his face, and hadn't seen the girls in front.
When he did turn to the front, he saw them and tried to stop, but of course, couldn't. Swayam dashed into Rey who in turn, dashed into Sharon and Taani.
All four of them fell on the floor and looked at each other.
Taani and Rey saw each other.
Swayam and Sharon saw each other.
"Rey?!" said Taani
"you?" asked Sharon
Both Rey and Swayam looked at each other
"sorry" they said together and stood up to give help the girls.
After the girls got up, the boys held their ears to signal sorry
The girls couldn't help but smile.
"Shall we go to the table?" asked Rey with a sheepish smile.
"Okay" said Taani.
"After you" the boys said together and stood behind the girls.
Taani, while going to the table, slipped on the juice sharon had spilt a while ago and fell back into Rey's arms.
*Look Look Hawa Hawa*
Rey could have stood there like that forever, but he was interrupted and brought back to his senses by Swayam's fake cough.
"Ahem Ahem" said Swayam again.
Rey helped Taani stand up properly.
"Thanks" Taani said looking everywhere, other than at Rey.
Sharon saw that Taani and Rey were feeling awkward and wanted to change the subject to help her friend.
"Guys! Let's go to the table" said Sharon "I'm so hungry"
"Yea" said Swayam who also wanted to change the subject to help Rey.
"Okay let's go" said Rey
All four of them went to the table and sat, the boys opposite to the girls.
At first they didn't have anything to say, so they ordered the food and sat looking at each other. Finally, Taani broke the silence.
"You guys know each other?" she asked, pointing to Swayam and Sharon.
"Yea...we kind of already met before." said Swayam
Sharon giggled and told them how they had met.
Taani laughed. "So you guys also met just like us" she said "Only difference is that in our case, Rey fell alone"
"I seriously should put safety gear from tomorrow if I have to meet her" said Rey "From the first time till now, something bad has happened to me"
"Why don't you not meet her?" asked Sharon in a teasing manner
"Yea" said Swayam jiggling his eyebrows "Why? you guys can't live without meeting each other?"
They hi-fived and loked at Taani and Rey.
"Oh shut up guys. Come on. We're just friends" said Taani blushing
"Yea" said Rey "and by the way, we are all friends no? then why this doubting?"
"Hmmm" said Swayam and Sharon together and laughed..
