Chapter XI - Making Things Right

Arnav stood in front of Khushi's Apartment with Aarushi in his arms resting her head on his shoulders.

'How could someone live in such a small place'...Arnav thought.

"Daddy..Knock." Aarushi commanded encouragingly while Arnav stared at her proudly.

"I am afraid." Arnav admitted.

"Don't be...Mummy also loves you.." Aarushi said it in a way that Arnav wanted to laugh.

Arnav rang the bell waiting for Khushi to open the door.

The door opened revealing a very angry Khushi with swollen red eyes.

"What do you want now?" Khushi grunted.

"Please move..Khushi.The neighbours are there..They might be listening." Arnav said as He entered the house with Aarushi.

"You got what you want...What are you here for?" Khushi asked while looking at Aarushi who had flung her arms around Arnav's neck proudly.

"But We both want you..." Arnav whispered.

"Yes...Mommy...Daddy & I want you." Aarushi confirmed with a smile.

"Leave..I don't want anyone." Khushi said feeling betrayed by her daughter who was oblivious to the storm in her mother's mind.

Khushi was angry that Aarushi had accepted Arnav as her father.

Aarushi was just a child,She knew,but this pain of betrayal was unbearable.

Khushi stormed towards her room,locked the door and relieved herself of unshed tears.
Yet another heart break.

Now she would die.

"Mommy does not want me.??" Aarushi asked with a pained voice.

"No..darling...She is just angry." Arnav assured Aarushi who looked deflated.

"Will she be angry with me in the morning?" Aarushi asked as Arnav put her to sleep on her bed.

"Dont worry Baby...We will make sure your Mom falls for us.." Arnav promised.

"I love you Daddy." Aarushi pecked her Fathers' cheek.

"I love you too..Baby Doll." Arnav said and patted her head to sleep.

What the hell are these sounds..???

Khushi got up with a jerk.There was someone in the house.The house activities were getting too noisy and loud.

Khushi remembered the activities of the previous day.She remembered that in her rage,She had forgotten Aarushi.

Did Arnav leave ?

Was Aarushi all alone at the night?

Khushi got up and walked towards the door passing the mirror.She looked horrible.

Khushi carefully opened the door and gasped.

"Arnav Singh Raizada...What the hell is this happening here??? Answer me now...!!!" Khushi screamed.

The Father-Daughter duo turned with identical smirks towards her.

'Two Devils'...Khushi cursed.
