Part 12

Anjali (covering her mouth): what the??

Aakash: oh F*ck!

Amaan: damn we are F**ked!

Shyam: hell yea! You guys are f**ked!

(coming and standing beside the trio)

All four them including everyone else in AR was quiet with the view ahead of them except for Anjali.how she wished her brother will carry his dulhan and come to the house one day just like this!

FLASHBACK

Ansh: Khushi maasi, can u please take for me the balloon! Please!(puppy dog eyes)

Khushi felt warmed with Ansh cute request that she could not deny him! She knew it would be a difficult task because she was wearing a lengha and the balloon was tied high up! But she still took a stool and place it near the entrance trying to untie the balloon!

While she was in action Lavanya saw her struggling on top of the stool and an evil idea formed in the wicked brain of hers.

Lavanya (thinking): owh miss gupta! What a pity in the city! Trying to be goodie two shoes naa, be ready, I will show you how painful is it for me. FEEL IT!

Lavanya went to the side of the entrance without anybody noticing her and kicked one of the stools leg making Khushi loose balance. Khushi somehow manage to steady herself by holding the edge of the door but before she could fully compose herself the door opened wide with a roaring Arnav.

ASR: WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON HERE??

ARNAV Was shocked to see his office decorated with diya's and balloons and his staffs walking around in traditional clothes. He don't remember anyone mentioning about the event that is going on here. When suddenly an object came flying from the top and He impulsively hold it on to his arms. There the nymph was, hugging him tight and holding on to his colar. she closed her eyes tightly because she thought she was going to land on the floor hard but she felt something soft but masculine touching her instead! He stood there mesmerized by her. Owh how he missed her for the past week! She slowly opened her eyes she was shocked to see the face that was holding her but even more happier to see him. Only she know how much she missed this man of few words!

PRESENT

They stood there staring at each other completely forgetting the position there are or the place they are. Too ignorant of the surroundings where they dint realize there were other people staring at them too with full attention! Until ansh broke their trance!

Ansh: Arnie Chachu! You are back! Mumma see, chachu is back!

Arnva just put Khushi down gently and they both straightened themselves seeing the rest walk to them.

ASR: WHAT GOING ON? (He raised his eyebrow to Amaan and Akash caring Ansh to his arms)

La: I am so sorry ASR! I TOLD THEM NOT TO HAVE IT! I know you would not be happy about it! But Khushi, Amaan and Aakash were keen in having it!

Arnav looked at all three of them who were looking at their feet!

Anjali: chotey! Tum? I thought u are coming back tommorow? (trying to calm down the situation)

ASR: di? Jeejaji? Aap bi yahaan! Gosh I cant believe this! why no body told me this?

Aakash: woh bhai,, it was a sudden plan! Just for the sake of diwali!

Amaan: ya ASR.. we just thought of having some get to gather..

Shyam: saale sahaab let it be naa! Its fun to have a get together likes this once in a while!

ASR: ok go on! Just for you Jijaji! (pointing at his jiju)

Every one was relieved that Arnav was in a good mood! Arnav looked around and saw the decoration. He felt happy looking at the initiative taken.

ASR: who did the decoration?

La quickly jumped in and said : khushi!

Everyone looked at Khushi and then Arnav don't know what to expect! They felt pity for Khushi.

LA:I am sure you are not happy about it. I told her not too..

Before she could complete Arnav carried his palm to her asking her to stop! Then he looked at Khushi and said " its very nice!"

Everyone was least expecting him to say that but was delighted! Anjali had a new glint in her eyes which dint go unnoticed by her husband!

Amaan who was annoyed at La silently turn to her and smirking he said " on your face La! you ASR ki chamchi!

La stomped of the venue fuming to her cabin!

khushi could only manage to say a silent "THANK YOU!"

Everyone started to feast themselves with the food joined by ASR himself! Khushi served Ansh then looked ASR who was gazing at her! She ask him what by noding her head! He came and stood right behind her and whispered in her ears " wont you serve me khushi?"

Khushi looked at him feeling embarrassed and scared with their approximate! She just mumbled a "sure sir" and started filling up his plate and passed it to him!!

Anjali was happily watching what was going on with her brother and his PA. shyam also notice Anjali's excitement.

Shyam: Rani saheeba? Apki dimag mei kya jaalri haen?

Anjali (excited): did you see them? did you see them?

Shyam: ah? Who?

Anjali: arrey! Chotey and Khushi ji! Did you see how they communicate? It looks like there some fire between them!

Shyam: omygod! Rani saheeba you are like a mother hen! Leave your brother alone. If there is something he would definitely tell us! Don't come up with your own conclusion!

Anjali was disappointed with her husbands point of view! Though Shyam denied it to Anjali about Arnav and Khushi,he also felt there was something brewing between them!

ASR: arrey di aap ko kya hua? Why this pig face?

Arnav, shyam, Aakash, Amaan and Ansh who was on the table burst out laughing

Anjali was sulking because she was annoyed, then she saw Khushi walking with Priya and called them to join the table! Although Khushi and Priya were reluctant initially but they could not deny anjali's sweetness! They went and sat with them! Khushi sat in between Ansh and Priya. Due to Priya's bad luck, beside her was Amaan. Everyone started eating quietly. Only Ansh voice with Anjali could be heard most of the time while the four man discussed about business. Priya and Khushi were extremely quiet. Khushi was uncomfortable because she could feel Arnav's gaze on her every now and then because he was sitting straight opposite to her.

On the other side, Priya senses was playing havoc on her! Amaan had purposely put his hand on her lap slowly pressing his fingers on her inner thighs in circular motions! She could not do anything because she dint want to humiliate Amaan and although she denied, she partially liked what he was doing. She could barely chew her food. She gave him a cold stare but he smirked at her then pretended like nothing and continued his business talk.

Anjali: chotey, I thought you are coming back tomorrow then how come you are here today?

ASR: owh its nothing di, its just that day after tomorrow is diwali, office will be closed tomorrow so I thought I would come today before I miss anything.(saying that he looked straight at khushi and twinkled his eyes)

Khushi blushed and looked at her lap. After the meal everyone got up and started going in their directions but Amaan dint let Priya to get up. He hold her thighs tighter as everyone was leaving both them alone at the table!

Priya: sir what are you doing? Leave me!

Amaan let go of her thighs and grabbed her hand. He pulled her close to him and wished her in the ears "Happy Diwali". Then he got up and left her there like nothing happened! She could feel her ears burning with what just happen.

Arnav went to his cabin. He was hoping that Khushi would come after him and like he wanted she did. She came and stood in front of him.

Khushi: sir? Can I ask you something?

ASR: yes Khushi.. go on.

Khushi: sir if you don't mind can I get 1 week leave?

ASR: ONE WEEK?? Uh.. I mean 1 week? Why khushi?

Khushi: sir I was planning to go to my home town! Lucknow! So yea! I hope u allow sir! Its been a long time since I visited my family!

Arnav was reluctant to let her go for one week but seeing her desperateness he agreed! He could see the glee in her face when he granted her leave. She was literally jumping!

ASR: ok! But make sure you are back in a week! I have a diwali party at my house so you need to be there to help! Is it clear!

Khushi: sure sir! I will be back! And thank you sir, thank you so much ! Happy diwali to you sir!

Arnav stood up and went to her! She was about to turn and walk away since she dint notice him taking big strodes towards her. He stepped a feet away and held her duppata. When she felt a tug in a duppata she turn to look at him standing mere a feet away. She was nervous. She did know what was he up too. He let go of her duppata.

ASR(huskily): Khushi is this how you wish "Happy Diwali"

Khushi(holding her the sides of her skirt tight): uh? Then how sir?

ASR: u don't know? (She shake her head negatively) come I show you!

He took a step near her and she moved back anxiously. The routine continued until she hit the glass door behind her. He pressed his left hand on the wall and leaned close to her face mere inches away from her mouth. He was towering her as she closed her eyes tight waiting in anticipation for his next move...
