part 9

Late in night TR room,

rey lying down on the bed haphazardly half alseep, taani sitting up on the bed wide awake

looking harassed sipped water from the bottle, spilled it over her dress, wiped it and then irritated,

threw the bottle on the table

Rey, get up...aap kaise ho? Mujhe neend nahin aarahin...itna kuch hua hain aur aap...pushing

and shaking him, so rahe ho

He pulled her closer to himself tum bhi so jao, kuch nahin hua hain sleepily

She on him and struggling to get away,sat up...bhai sahin kehthe hain, mujhe mom se aisi baat

nahin karni chahiye thi...wo kya sochenge? Aur dad ...looking guilty, tired, upset and worried all

at once...unko jab pata chalega ki maine aise aise baat ki...tho...embarrassed...now shaking her

head and looking at rey sleeping...getting irritated that he s aaram se sleeping, shook him again

more ...hey krishnaji inki neend kharab kardena , inko zindagi bar neend nahin aaane dena...reyy

Rey finally sat up looking all sleepy and harassed," taani kuch nahin hua hain' she opened her

mouth, he closed it with his hands and continued," mom s not angry, shes not upset, shes not going to

complain about you to your tauji, shes not going to walk out of the house, shes not going to fire you

, wo tumhaare baby..matlab hamare baby ko pyaar karegi and ...wo jo bhi kuch tum soch rahin ho

aisa kuch nahin hoga...aur swayam sahin nahin kehtha...tumne sach hi kahaan tha na ki tumhe

bhi ..kya tha...utna hi pleasure miltha...

She shook free," rey...stop it...aap bhai ko kuch mat kkaho, wo sahin kehthe hain aapne hi mujhe

bigaada hain. Aap hi mujhse hamesha yahin kehthe ho ki apni baat bolo wagaira wagaira...warna

meri himmat nahin hothi itni rude hone ki mom se...

Pehli baar haina isiliye upset jab rude hone ki aadat hojaayegi tab teek lagega...aur waise tum

mujhse tho rudely baat karthi ho, taunt maarthi ho tab tho raat raat jaagthi nahin..

Aapki baat alag hain he raised his eyebrows now all awake aap alag hain...matlab aapke saath

chaltha hain rey...aap...he smiled , she fidgeted with the bed spread edges and then rey aap mere

ho ...and he smiled more widely and pulled her into his arms, kissed her on the head and said

Its okay taani dont worry so much...mom se sorry hi tho kehna hain

She smiled slightly in his arms and then after a second ,"rey main abhi jaake apologise karoon?

Abhi? Its two in the night, paagal mat bano. Kal subah karlena

Nahin rey mujhe neend nahin aayegi and pulling herself away from him, before he could react ,

got down from the bed and muttering sorry hi tho kehna hain, abhi himmat hain tho unke saamne

abhi jaake boldoongi went out of the room.

Rey sat for a second , shhok his head, bent on the bed and then forced himself to get up and

follow her

Reys mom s room s door

Taani at the door her hands fidgeting, rey came in from one side while the door opened and reys

mom looked out sleepily and then catching taani looking upset

Taani? Kya hua beta? Tum teek ho? Kuch problem hain? Suddenly awake thinking something

had gone terribly wrong

Taani nodded her head in a yes and haan ...wo...wo mom mujhe sorry bolna tha...maine pata nahin

...sorry

Reys mom stared at her for a second trying to understand what she was saying and then went back

to looking sleepy kisliye? Mujhe aadhi raat ko jagaane keliye?

Nahin...matlab haan...uskeliye bhi...par jo maine aapse...kahaan ...nahin uskeliye nahin...jis tarah

se maine aapse baat ki...mom sorry...main usually aise badtameezi se baat nahin karthi par ...sorry

Jab tameez kisiki samaj na aaye tab tum bhi kya karogi? Badtameezi hi karni padegi na Taani

looked at her , she yawned and continued okay ab main so jao

Taani looked at her hoping for more reaction, rey smiled at his moms sentence...tho aap mujhse

gussa...

Gussa zaroor aayega if you dont let me go to sleep now...reys mom yawned again and then walking

out patted taani s cheek saying dont be so upset, achha nahin hain tumhaareliye. Relax beta. I was

a little angry par saara gussa dad pe nikaal diya she grinned, what are husbands for haina? Now

im fine, mujhe koi gussa nahin kuch naarazgi nahin hain ...okay?

Taani s eyes filled up and she muttered another sorry softly...reys mom gave her a quick hug and

patting her back said sleep taani. jao

Taani moved out of her arms feeling better , turned to go when mom called ," iska kya yeh matlab

hain ki ki tum office nahin..

"no no mom maine us idea se nahin kahaan tha...main project khatam karne waali hoon..main bas

yeh kehrahin thi ki...

" ki tum ek useless piece of furniture nahin ho..."Mom smiled , taani nodded and smiled and she

added ,"good warna phir se tumhaare dad ko kisi aur ko dhoondna padtha...go so jao. Tum bhi

rey, parsau jaana hain tumhe." And smiling yawned and went back to her room

rey looked at taani with a i told you look and she walked into his arms feeling all relaxed and

happy

TR room same night

Rey on the bed trying to sleep, taani on the bed excitedly talking continuously

Matlab moms so ...cooolll...she laughed ...kitni sweet hain rey...she shook her head and then shook

rey...aapko pata bhi nahin ki aap kitne lucky ho, nahin nahin aap nahin main lucky hoon..mujhe

itni achhi saans mili...saans kya shes a super woman...she stopped admiringly...and then turning

to rey saw him sleeping and shook him again...rey kaise ho aap, itni achhi feeling hain aur mujhe

neend hi nahin aarahin...aur aap dekho so rahe ho...shake again roughly and as he ignored her

and turned to the other side desperately trying to sleep, she frowned and pinched his arm

Ouch he got up and really angrily turned to her , rubbing his arm taani tumhe jo karna hain karo,

mujhe sone do

She didnt look worried he got angry, instead she laughed at him, ruffled his hair saying

mujhe tho dance karne ka mann karrahaan hain and got down from the bed , aise, held her night

gown in both her hands up and twirled around once looking beautiful in her long big blue pretty

gown and she said...sharon bhabhi ki choice dekho kitni superb hain...has to be, mere bhai se

shaadi ki unhone...making rey smile at her sudden happiness involuntarily...and twirled once more

... rey moved towards her and twirled thrid time , felt her head spin and stopped...making rey dash

forwards and hold her in his arms before she fell on the floor...taani!

For a second till the spinning stopped , she was quiet , her head on his chest and arm. He held her

closer...okay? She nodded still on his chest, he lifted her face up with his fingers and was about to

open his mouth to give her a lecture but the brightness in her eyes stopped him...there was so much

joy in them...and the joy had an innocence in them that suddenly constricted his heart...his thumb

traced the chin and then her cheek...and kissed her on the lips...a slow soft kiss telling her how

happy he was in her joy

Her eyes closed, her hands went around his neck and she felt him pull her closer with an arm

around her waist, felt her head spin again ...he stopped as he felt her try to take a deeper breath

and then realised the small baby bump between them...her eyes opened as her breathing became

normal and their eyes met, both smiled together, reys arms still around her waist and hers around

his neck

I love you taani his voice a caress

She blushed as she stared into his eyes , she had heard it so many times but she still blushed and

his smile turned broader. He lifted her up a little and kissed her again ...on her lips, her chin, her

earlobe , the side of her neck...his hands caressing the small of her back...and stopped as a soft

gasp of rey escaped her mouth when his lips went pushing the night gown off her shoulder

He lifted his head up from her shoulder, her fingers still clutching his hair and looking at her flushed

face ... What was he thinking? He shook his head to clear it , lifted her up in his arms, placed her

on the bed and just as he was about to move away, she pulled him closer with her fingers on his

vest and said rey, aap sach mein kal jaa rahe ho?

His face fell, her face fell as she looked at him and pulling him closer, she kissed him telling him

how much she loved him and how much she was going to miss him...as she stopped to take a

breath, he stroked her face with his finger, with his other hand on her baby bump entwining his

fingers in hers and said," is baar mujhe jaane ka bilkul mann nahin hain taani"

She put her arms around his neck , pulled him as close as she could and mumbled into his ears,

i know rey,...bas aap mujhe aise ... and stopped matlab...abhi tho saath hain and kissed his earlobe . He smiled as he understood what she tried to say...she wanted him

as much as he wanted her now and began kissing her again vaguely wondering if it was okay...

but as of then it didnt seem to matter much..he would read it up later...and kissed her

Little while later

Taani on reys chest eyes closed looking satisfied and peaceful, rey looking pretty much the same.

..though eyes open , his hands stroking her arms flung on his chest

Taani ...ummm...you feel softer, smoother ...she smiled...taani...ummm...thanks...she smiled...taani.

..ummm...im going to miss you...she smiled

taani...yeh tumhaari housewife service ke bajai mera free service nahin lagtha?

She hit him on his chest...rey ! And hit him again...he started laughing and holding her hands

kissed them and taani ...ummm...i love you...she smiled and snuggled to him closer

next evening - TR house

Rey , nil , bharat, vicky swayam walked inside the house with huge bags just as amar came from

inside looking anxious and seeing them went running and said
