Part 3

TR house

taani in kitchen humming and doing something, soft smile on her lips. Rey came in and smiling at

herhumming.. hugged her holding her waist from behind...she smiled more as he nuzzled her neck

over her hair and muttered " back to normal.. Subah subah kitchen mein? Itni jaldi hi meri bed tea

se tang aagayi?"

She hit the side of his head affectionately ," mujhe bhook lagrahin thi , so jaldi uth gayi...tea?"

he nodded while she continued ," agar aap mujhe kuch bhi karrne se mana karenge tho main bore

hojaaoongi rey" moving with difficulty to make tea as he still held her by the waist

"as soon as your best friends come back you can start your routine tab tak akeli sab kuch mat ..."

She laughed," both my best friends are back kal ..kaka bhi aur sunithi bhi(thats the maid) "

"chalo mera time mein aadha cut" he grumbled still nuzzling her neck while she smiled,

" itni jaldi kyun aarahe hain? Didnt you fire them?' with a smile

" bcoz i told her ...mere news ke baarein mein aur dono ne mujhe call karke promise kiya ki jagda

nahin karenge aur agar karenge tho mujhe bother nahin karenge" her tea done,

she turned in his arms to face him and pushing him off her slightly , pecked on his nose continuing,

" waise aaj mere doosri best friend bhi aarahin hain tho ..."

"aashi bhi aarahin hain tho mera poora time cut" he stated matter of factly making her laugh again

at his pretending to be upset face

"aapko jo bhi kaam hain academy ka wo sab karsakthe ho..teen din se mere hi saath..." slightly

guilty voice and gave him his tea. He stared at her, she looked different from how she was when

told him...she raised her eyes questioningly as he didnt take the tea" pata hain tum alag lag rahin ho

...i mean...maybe its the smile, maybe zyaada relaxed ho kaam ke tension ke bina ya wo

pregnancy glow hain..." stressing on the word pregnancy

"...or maybe " placing the tea back on the kitchen counter ,she put her arms around his neck and

moved closer," aapki pyaar hain" she said sincerely," aur aapki saath ...teen din se aur kuch

nahin kiya aapne"

He grinned," perfect reason and as yeh pyaar hamesha se hain aur rahega tum apni smile ko jaane

mat dena kahin bhi" she laughed again and kissed his cheek,he closed his eyes a second at her

touch and then said " taani seriously dont cry...i know yeh pregnancy mood swings , yeh wo ...

reason ..sab ...teen chaar din se padke thak gaya hoon but still please dont cry..main dekh nahin

saktha , my mind gets switched off aur..."

" sorry rey...maybe sudden tha isiliye" she replied back touched like everytime before," i promise

main apna best se bhi zyaada try karoongi " and kissed him again on the same cheek.

" this was pending" he said pointing to the other cheek and she laughed kissed him on the other

cheek making him grin more

"ab chai peelo warna tanda hojaayega" and pushed him away and gave it to him still talking,

" waise sab kitne khush the rey..maine expect hi nahin kiya tha...pata hain mom ( reys mom)

ne poocha ki mujhe kya khaana hain!!..." he grinned more at her excitement and she went on...

Later evening- TR house bell rang, taani opened the door to find a grinning aashi with a huge bag

TAANI and she was enveloped in a warm hug in one hand the other holding the bag.

Taani s face broke into a huge smile again at the warmth

"teek ho?" taani nod, aashi loked at her up and down," kuch change dikh nahin rahaan except of

course your face - khushi dekho!!" taani grinned," actually mujhe gussa hona chahiye tumse ki

mujhe pehle nahin bataya but still chodo maaf kiya"

taani held her ears and interrupted ," no aashi rey ne sharon bhabhi ko pehle hi bata diya tho.."

"its okay... ab yeh lo before i forget " handing her the bag," maa ne bheja hain tumhaare liye and

ive a lot of instructions unke taraf se " taani took the bag with a happy smile

"aunty ne? So sweet..kaisi hain?"

Aashi s face fell, taanis face changed too - both looked at each other with a look of u know how its

same to same taani, ek din fine tho doosre din ..." and shook her head, forcing a smile,"

but ab unki chodo aur tumhaari details batao" and both started walking inside-

taani holding the bag and looking inside to see what was in to eat.

Both girls sitting on the couch, legs folded up comfortably...aashi saying something funny and

taani laughing with a bowl of something in front of her" seriously aashi, jab tum apni stage show

ke liye abroad jaaogi na tab main tumhe bohot miss karnewaali hoon"

"ummm...tum bhi aajao na saath mein...im sure u can still travel ...but tumhaara kaam.??"

and then catching her face s expression," tum chod rahin ho office?" taani nodded,

" okkk...pata hain agar tum mere best friend nahin hoti tho main tumse bohot jealous hoti..

.jab chaho kaam karo jab chaho choddo, matlab u dont have to work for living haina? "

taani stretched her arm out to her and held her hand saying," u need..." but before she could

complte aashi said," ab please dont ask me ki mujhe paison ki zaroorat hain, jab hogi tab tum dono

se hi poochoongi .." taani smiled," waise bhi rey ka last loan bhi maine return nahin kiya hain poori tarah"

Taani frowned ," no aashi thats over, i explained to you" aashi frowned and taani shook her head

pulled a newspaper on the table picked a pen and started explaining...after about ten minutes,

aashi went," KYAAA? Matlab ...matlab ...wait wait...jo maine tumhe diya tha usko tumne invest kiya

taani nodded," and then uska re invest kiya?" taani nodded again," mere naam pe and the profit is..

"the growth ...aashi growth hain...profit nahinj abhi zyaada bhi hoga...so tumhaara loan poora

hogaya, in fact extraa bachtha bhi hain, see..."

Aashi stared at the numbers in front of her," thanks but U should take a fees"

taani laughed at her butAashi shook her head," no taani thats not done, tumhaara dimaakh laga

hain ismein." taani laughed again," nahin taani yehi tumhaari galthi hain, u shouldnt let such

stuff go. Why dont you just do this earn? "

taani was about to open her mouth but aashi looking at her seriously," dont tell me ki tumhe zaroora

t nahin hain ...this is not for the money, this is the respect for your effort...jab tum khudh iski khadar

nahin karogi tho koi aur kya khadar karega? " for a second what she said struck taani as true but

then she was in no mood for any serious talk

"aashi...itna serious mat hojao. Ab stop all this , kuch aur batao ..."

aashi shook her head and asked," tum serious hojao in sab ke baare mein " and hit the side oftaani s head

Taani still smiled happily," offo chodo...now chalo andher..mujhe dinner khatam karna hain sabke

aane se pehle..." and got up. The sudden movement made her head spin and she immediately held

aashi for support. A few seconds and she was okay.

"teek ho?" she nodded and said," kabhi kabhi hota hain bas..chalo " and both walked into the kitchen

Late in the evening...the gang sitting down haphazardly everywhere -( none imp really ) and talking

Info- nil simmi together/ vicky having an affair with that doctor girl/ neha comes and goes/

rinni married comes and goes/ bharat amar not married...doing well/ vishaaka comes and

goes- still has her school running/ newones dont care/ oh yesSS married recently and

aashi...as above not married

Vicky sitting between taani and rey ," taani yeh tum kab tak khaana banaa sakthi ho?'

"jab tak aap chaho tab tak, waise vicky get married..tab mujhse poochna nahin padega..

ab dekho two more months , nil aur simmi ki bhi shaadi hojaayegi and aap..." nil/simmi smiled

"main akela rehjaaoonga..." turning to rey," tumhaara baby hoga( reys face changed) and nil ki

continuous honeymoon phase hoga " and pretending to cry placed his head on reys shoulder..

.rey shrugged him off as everyone laughed and started giving him more advise

Taani got up to move towards kitchen when "taani " simmi asked moving to her side , pushing vicky

" tum mera help karogi ? u know the house we ve got, usmein mujhe kuch theme painting karwaana

tha..i really loved jo tumne apne room mein kiya ...pleasepleaseplease..." almost at the kitchen

taani nodded," but simmi i dont think main khudh kuch karpaaoongi ...maybe i can just help with ..."

"oh...but you ll be free right?"

Sudden spurt of irritation,"free matlab? Free ho ya nahin i dont think i can paint walls during pregnancy" she shot back

Simmi guiltily," no no taani i didnt mean it that way, tum mujhe misunderstand mat karo...i know that.

.. I just thought ki tum kaam waapas nahin jaarahin ho tho.u might have time to ..." shrugging

taani relented," ok...chalo...i ll show you everything and aap nil ke saath karsakthe ho after the wedding..

dono ko time miljaayega saath mein" she suggested grinning..simmi s eyes brightened at that and

she nodded , gave her a hug and thumbs up and went out
