The phone rang beside her waking sanyukta from her slumber.

She ignored it and went back to sleep.

When it started ringing for the tenth time randhir lost his patience. He knew who was calling and he couldnt wait anymore. He quickly went into her room and nudged her awake.

Wake up he said as he made her sit down. Sanyuktas eyes were still closed.

Mujhe sone do MCP please. She said throwing a tantrum and before she could shove him away and go back to sleep the phone rang for the 11^th time.

Randhir quickly pressed the answer button and placed it to sanyuktas ears.

Sanyu...

A sweet voice called out to her. A voice that seemed sweeter than sweet. The voice she had missed all this time.

Her eyes swung open completely as her eyes conveyed the voice to her brain no trace of sleep left in them anymore.

Tears started flowing through her eyes. And for the first time in years these weren't tears of sadness rather they were tears of joy. She couldn't speak. She was too happy for words. She was truly left speechless.

Sanyu..Tu sun rahi hai na..Mumma misses you beta..Come home to mumma.

All sanyu could mutter was a broken hmmm as the call got disconnected on the other side.

Get ready. I've prepared breakfast. We'll leave for your house in half an hour.

Randhir took sanyukta to her home as promised. To sanyuktas surprise her parents received randhir with much more love than they received her. It was as if he was their long lost son not her.

As randhir sat in the hall talking merrily with her father and brother. Sanyukta was lead inside by her mother who immediately hugged her having found the opportunity. Her mother started crying saying how sorry she was for everything and for not being by her side.Sanyukta consoled her mother that it was all due to circumstances and that she had no hard feelings against anyone.

Seeing the confused expression on sanyuktas face who kept glancing back at randhir, her father and brother in the hall sanyu's mother decided it was time sanyukta knew the truth.

Beta. Randhir sach mei bohot acha ladka hai she started. Humne sirf tujhe nahi use bhi galat samjha tha. Humara khudka beta jo nahi kar saka that randhir has done for us. Ankit had made your papas company go into huge losses. Last month we were completely bankrupt and this house was going to be auctioned off. That's when randhir came to us. He saved our house. He even worked on your papas company. Hes been doing that since the past one month staying with us helping us with all our problems. And last week he made the company profitable. He truly is a genius. Your papa was so happy with him. He told him to ask for anything in return. He just said he wants forgiveness for you and him. If we can forgive both of you for your mistakes it will be prize enough for him.

Sanyukta had a smile to her face as her mother finished the story. So that's where that ass had disappeared without telling me she thought angrily but the proud smile on her face had another story to tell. She was proud of her MCP he had done for her family something which she couldn't do.

The rest of the day was spent the whole family with randhir making the most of the happy moments. Ankit told randhir all of sanyuktas most embarrassing moments as a child to which he laughed out loud much to the annoyance of sanyu. Whereas her father was nothing but proud today. He proudly told randhir all of sanyuktas achievements and showed him the pictures of sanyu as a child. Sanyukta just adorably watched on smiling looking at her happy family while her mother for the first time since sanyu was born felt tension free seeing sanyu and randhir sitting side by side
