CHAPTER 10

Ab kya. Randhir thought holding his head with both his hands. He had a pounding headache all thanks to himself. All thanks to the great things he had done. He had been thinking of all the ways he had wronged sanyukta and how to make up for it for the whole day. But his mistakes seemed so many that he couldnt think which was bigger or how to apologize. He had really screwed up big time.

He could apologise for the little things. The fight. The physical hurt. But what about the big things? For hurting her family. For taking away her identity. for killing her dream he had done so much since he came to earn her forgiveness. But it just didnt seem enough. It was not even close to enough. And he knew that.

Why was i such an ass sanyu. he threw a near by vase to the wall to lessen his frustration as it broke into pieces he crumbled as well.

How do i make it up to you. Every moment i fear that i've lost you. But then you smile at me or take my name and i get the strength again. I am confused sanyu. What do i do to make everything better. Kya karun mai please help me.

Just then his phone buzzed.

Bhai delhi aa jao right now Urgent hai.

What randhir heard from jignesh stunned him. He started for delhi immediately knowing that was where he needed to be.

One month later.

It had been a week since sanyukta had went to the office. She just wanted to curl up into a ball and dissapear into her misery. Once again he had left her abandoned her. She had hoped against hope that this time would be different she couldnt believe he had given up on her. There was not a single call or message from randhir. He wasnt seen since a month. His house was locked as well.

She continously splashed water onto her face to hide the tear strains on her face. But it was of no use. The traitor mirror caught it all. Her weakness. His betrayal. punching the mirror hard she broke the witness to her heartbreak into millions of pieces which only came back to hurt her everywhere she touched them. Within a matter of seconds her whole hand turned red due all the blood coming from it. But she didnt care it was nothing compared to what randhirs dissapearence without a word felt like.

As she came nearer to him randhir caught hold of both her hands and pinned her to the wall being careful about the injured hand.

After a while she stopped struggling as her eyes caught hold of his. She felt like she would drown in the love in his eyes. He kneeled closer bringing his lips to her ears.

I love you he whispered with so much passion that it sent a chill down her spine.

Sanyukta felt she would crumble just like the mirror did at the sound of his voice. This was too much for her.

He sat beside her scooping her up then placing her in his lap he completely engulfed her in his arms bringing her as close to his heart as possible as if shieling her from all the pain.

Sanyukta continued murmuring i hate you for a while and being stiff in his hold. But after a while even she couldnt be strong anymore. She finally loosened up submitting herseld to him completely as she curled up her hands around him and closed her eyes in peace. This was what was meant by pure bliss she thought.

It was 1 in the night when the ringing of her phone woke sanyukta up. She tried to move into the softness of randhirs body to avoid the sound but all she could feel was the hard floor. As she opened her eyes she noticed blood all over the place. her place was completely empty and unaltered. He wasnt here after all it was my stupid head all along she thought with anger. Acha hi hua that mcp didnt witness my weakness. She convinced herself with pride but couldnt stop the tears of dissapointment from escaping through. Quickly composing herself sanyukta went to answer the phone which was from her office.

Yes. Sanyukta. Ops i mean shefali speaking.

What project? Delhi. No ways. Send someone else.

I dont care if its mandatory i'll resign.

What cluase? Which contract? Jail...for this...thats unfair.

At 3 in the morning sanyukta got ready with all her luguage waiting below her apartment for the car to come with her appointed partner for the project.

The car rolled in at exactly 3.30 as told her. As the car came to a halt and the driver opened the back door sanyukta was stunned to the least to see the face and voice that greeted her.
