Chapter 25

Part 20 :

Shilpa gets up from the bed restlessly and walk towards the window... It was a peaceful night and in the moonlight everything around was looking beautiful.. But it had no effect on her restless heart which kept thinking about Armaan continuously.. It has been 1 week since he left to go Mount College which was quite far from the town they lived... But now the matter which bothered her most is that there was no Contact with him from 4 days.. Neither he called her nor his phone was reachable.. She felt a fear rise in her heart with every passing minute.. How she wanted him beside her.. To do just one talk with him.. But it petrified her wondering what might have happened between Shashank and Armaan... She knew she had to do act fast... With the thought She moves back to the bed with her thoughts lingering over Armaan...

In the office :

Sofie walks into the office with two coffees.. As she approach her desk she notice Shilpa who set silently staring at the floor.. With a frown she sits besides Shilpa... " Here you go.. Take your coffee.. "
Shilpa looks up at Sofie and mutters.. " Thank u Sofie.. "
Sofie looks at her with a frown.. " You really look worried Shilpa.. Whats wrong.. "
Shilpa takes a sigh.. " Sofie.. I am worried about Armaan.. "
Sofie smiles.. " Ohh Shilpa.. But it has been just a week since he left right.. Dont worry he will be back soon.. "
Shilpa looks at her worriedly.. " Thats not what bothering me Sofie.. I am not able to contact him.. It has been 4 days now.. "
Sofie looks at her sadly.. " ohhh.. Shilpa.. He might be buxy in some work right.. "
Shilpa gets up from her seat.. " No Sofie.. I know Armaan.. He cant forget to call me.. And now it is 4 days.. I am really scared.. What if.. What if something terrible happened.. "
Sofie walks close to her.. " Dont worry Shilpa.. he would be fine.. he will be back soon.. "
Shilpa turns to her.. " No Sofie.. I have decided i will go back to there.. And bring him back with me."
Sofie smiles at her.. " Yes that would be better.. I cant see you worried Shilpa.. Go and get back Armaan.."
Shilpa smiles at Sofie and hug her.. But soon her smile fades away from her lips.. " But Sofie.. Do you think the Hitler will give me permission to go."
Sofie rolls her eyes.. " Ohh Ya i forgot the lady Hitler.. DOnt worry i will go wid you and make her give you two days off.. "

Shilpa walks inside Lina's cabin with Sofie beside her.. She nervously looks at Sofie who laughs seeing her condition.. Shilpa glares at her and slowly walks upto Lina.. " Goodmorning mam.. "
Lina looks up from her file with a smirk.. " Goodmorning Shilpa.. What bring you here suddenly."
Shilpa hesitantly speaks.. " Actually Mam.. I was thinking if i could get Three days off.. "
Lina looks at her with a frown.. " Three days off.. Suddenly what has happened.. "
Sofie comes to her rescue.. " Actually Mam.. Armaan is very much stuck up in his work.. And he is out of station.. Soo Shilpa needs to go and help him in his work.. "
Lina looks at them for a second and nods her head.. " Ok then.. I give u three days off Shilpa.. But If you dont show up after three days.. "
Shilpa quickly speaks.. " No Mam.. I would be back by that time.. "
Lina nods her head.. " Ok then.. You two can leave.. I have many Important works to do.. "

Shilpa keeps Wandering around the Mount College trying to search for someone familiar.. She badly wanted to know what happened between Shashank and Armaan.. And most importantly she wanted to know how Armaan was.. Suddenly She spots a Professor who used to teach her in college before.. She runs to him quickly... " Professor .. U remember me.. Shilpa "
The old man turns to Shilpa and smiles widely.. " Ohh Shilpa.. Am so glad to see you after such a long time.. How have u been.. ? "
Shilpa smiles.. " I am good sir.. Uhh Actually Did Armaan come here.. And i was wondering where i can find Shashank sir.. "
The man frowns.. " You donno what have taken place here in this week.. Armaan came here and a huge argument took place between them... Shashank was found guilty for the murder of students.. They had a fight due to Which Shashank is now in Hospital.. But Armaan... "
Shilpa looks at him worriedly.. " What.. Where is Armaan.. "
The man shakes his head.. " I have no Idea.. No one knows where he is... I guess Only Shashank knows.. You should go and meet him.. "
Shilpa nods her head silently... Now she felt more scared wondering where he could be.. " Where are you Armaan... "

Shilpa inquires about Shashank's room and makes way to the room with a thudding heart.. With every step she took she felt her fear rise.. Beyond the doors were all answers to her question.. Slowly she opens the door and peaks in to see Shashank who was on the bed in a critical condition.. Surely he was badly injured but it was what he deserved.. Shashank feels someone's presence and turns his head to see Shilpa who walked inside... He speaks in a weak voice " Heloo Miss Shilpa.. "
Shilpa speaks blankly.. " Where is Armaan... "
Shashank looks at her with a smirk.. " How rude.. U didint even return my greeting.. "
Shilpa tries to control your anger.. " Just tell me where he is.. "
Shashank looks at her in anger.. " I hate him.. How could he do this to me.. Cauxe of him i am here lying on this condition.. "
Shilpa shouts back.. " You deserve it... You have killed soo many innocent souls... You are just a devil.. A devil.. "
Shashank smirks.. " Woow.. Soo he told you about me.. The real me.. And about ur so called humans.. They deserve to be dead.. "
Shilpa feels her anger rise.. " No they dont.. Why are you doing this.. Why did u kill them.. "
Shashank shrugs his shoulders.. " Simple.. I want to become more immortal... I want become the most powerful soul within this world.. I hold the biggest power compared to other Angels.. Now i want to become the superior.. "
Shilpa speaks bitterly.. " And you think you can gain that by killing Innocent people... You are no Angel.. You are a demon.. "
Shashank laughs.. " Whatever... Yes killing is the only way i can gain more power.. But Damn this Armaan.. He came in between and ruined all my plan."
Shilpa moves closer to him.. " Where is Armaan.. what did you do to him.. Tell me.. "
Just then Shilpa notice his face becoming Pale... He lies down a little trying to catch his breath..
Shilpa talks desperately... " Plsss tell me where is he... "
Shashank looks at her weakly.. Suddenly he starts to laugh wickedly... " You really think i would let him go so easily.. He ruined everything.. Cauxe of him i am gonna loose my time in earth.. But who cares.. I have done my work... He is ruined.. "
Shilpa looks at him stunned by his words.. " What... What did you do.. "
Shashank looks directly in her eyes.. Shilpa feels a shiver run down her spine seeing the Devilish look on his face.. Truly something bad has happened..
Shashank moves up and whispers... " He acted to me the best Generous decent Angel Right... well Not anymore... "
Shilpa feels her heartbeat stop.. " WHAT DID U DO TO HIM...!!! "
Shashank speaks in a grim voice.. " Well as i said i do posses more power within me compared to him.. And when he attacked me.. I used my powers on him and Changed him... "
Shilpa moves away from him stumbling.. She looks at him still not being able to digest the words.. "Changed him.. "
Shashank tries to catch his breath.. But he knew it was coming.. His time was almost done.. Still keeping up the arrogant look he speaks.. " Yes I changed him.. And u know what... U wanna know.. "
A small whisper escapes her mouth... " What.. "
Shashank speaks in a rugged voice.. " He... Armaan.. He is now a Devil... I changed him to a Demon.. Demon.. He is back to the town now... Go and see the monster waiting for you there.. "
As the words left his mouth he falls back into the bed... He was dead.. But still his words kept ringing within the silent room like a Siren... " He is a Devil.. Demon... Demon... "
It was not Shashank's Death which effected her.. His words kept ringing in her mind.. with that the fear kept Raising in her heart.. Demon.. Could that be true.. Would it be Real Armaan there back in town.. Several Questions kept forming in her mind.. But the answers were there back in town.. Brushing away every negative thought she decides to go back and see what was it.. Angel or Devil..
