Part 4

"What do you mean you don't?"

Rey spoke , anger and shock clearly visible in his voice. Sharon looked at Kria helplessly , Kria held her hand and blinked her eyes in assurance.

"Rey , Sharon told na she does not want to file a complaint , that's it! And you , get out of here."

"Humein apna kaam karne dijiye."

The police man replied sternly. Kria rolled her eyes. And muttered.

"Kitna kaam karte ho pata hain mujhe."

She then turned to Rey , and gave him a deathly glare. Rey who understood that something was fishy about the police man. Stepped forward to that man.

"Agar she does not want to file a complaint , it's fine. Now please , you may take your leave."

The police man went. The doctor came . Kria spoke.

"Doctor , Sharon ki medical report humein de dijiye please."

"But that police man..."

The doctor was cut by Kria.

"Ek baar mein samjah nahi aaya? Ya should I call dad?"

Kria's dad was one of the board members of the hospital. The doctor nods and went. Rey stared at the two girls. And then looked at his sister , she looked so fragile , so weak. How could anyone even think of hurting her so bad.

He came to her , and sat beside her. She looked at him. And looked down .

"Apne bhai se nazre churati hain?"

Sharon looked at him again. He smiled at her , and she knew she had not lost her brother. She smiled back weakly. At least her best friend and her brother were still there. She hadn't lost everyone. She felt drowsy. And closed her eyes.

Kriyaansh look at each other , and understood she wanted to sleep. Kria covered her securely in the blanket .

"We are outside okay?"

Sharon nods . Kriyaansh went out , they saw Swayam. He had returned , how couldn't he. His love was in such a bad condition , and he ought to just see her once , to know how she is. He had seen the police man come out.

"Who is that bas***d?"

Swayam asked. Swaron sighed.

"Sharon didn't file a case Swayam."

Rey replied. Swayam was shocked beyond limits.

"And why so? Wasn't she always the one who would say fight for what's right? Usne college mein kitne eve teasing ke against campaigns kiye , aur ab?"

"I don't know dude , ask Kria . Why were you supporting her Kria?"

"That police man can't do this work . And please don't ask me how I know this. Sharon will file a complaint , but not to that corrupted police station."

Reyam didn't dare to speak a word , seeing how angry Kria was while speaking those words. They trusted Kria , and knew there was a big reason for that , so didn't ask further.

"Ca-can I se-see he-her?"

Swayam asked hesitating.

"Sure , but she is sleeping." , Kria said .

"Good , that makes it more easier for me."

Swayam thanked his stars , that Sharon was sleeping. He wasn't ready to face her properly right now , it had taken him his every ounce of strength to come and see her. He took a deep breath , and entered. His eyes were closed.

He slowly opened them. And he was very sure , he heard his heart break. She looked so weak , the injuries on her face. Even when she was sleeping he could clearly see that she had lost her glow.

He stared at her for what seemed like eternity. He never realized when his eyes were filled with tears and they had started flowing. His trance was broken by her voice. He wiped his tears a bit tensed. She was moving in her sleep , scared.

"Le-leave m-me."

Swayam ran to her. She woke up shouting his name. Swayam immediately pulled her in a hug.

"Ssh I am here Sharon."

Sharon hugged him tight , and closed her eyes. Swayam stroked her hair . And she slept. He closed his eyes. It pained , it pained to see her in such a weak condition , to see her broken to this extent. Something struck him. Why did she call out his name?

He pulled her back and placed her down. Did she love him? Did she had a reason to do what she did that night? All sort of questions came in his mind.

"She loves you."

Swayam looked up in shock and saw Kria. Kria came there. And held her friend's hand and placed it in his.

"Swayam , I will tell you everything , only if you promise to always hold her hand , never leave her in any situation . She has suffered a lot in her life Swayam."

"You don't even need to tell the truth , cause I won't leave her , not today , not tomorrow and never. I just know that she loves me , and is reluctant to accept it."

"Without knowing the truth , you can never make her accept it."

"I don't care Kria. If she trusts me that enough , she will come and tell me the truth , and if she doesn't , she won't even want me to know the truth , neither from her own mouth or anyone else. If she does not want me to know the truth , I won't know it."

"Swayam , but..."

"No Kria! Please , she is already in a very difficult state , and if she gets to know that her best friend broke her trust and told me everything which she wanted to hide , she'll break into pieces , and I don't want that."

Kria smiled.

"Sharon is way too lucky to have you Swayam. You stay with her , I am out."

Swayam nods. Kria was leaving , when he called her.

"Kria."

"Yes?"

"Can I ask you something?"

"Sure."

"That day , Sharon was serious about breaking up with me?"

"Which?"

"April 1^st?"

"Yes. You want to know why?"

"No."

Swayam was in the atrium speaking with Kria and Rey. Sharon came inside. Rey nudged her.

"Your girl's here."

Swayam turned , and saw her. He came to her and took her in a hug. Sharon didn't hug him back.

"Jaan , I missed you so much. What had happened sweetheart? Your stupid best friend wasn't even letting me meet you."

Sharon pulled back. She looked at him and took a deep breath, and closed her eyes.

"Swayam."

"Yes sweetheart?"

"I am breaking up with you."

"Huh?"

"I don't love you anymore. And I can't continue this relationship . I am sorry."

She opened her eyes , expecting Swayam to have a shocked expression , but he was smiling. She raised an eye . He took both her hands and kept it around his neck , and his hand on her waist.

"Do you really think I am that stupid that I won't know the truth?"

Sharon's eyes widened.

"Wh-what tru-truth?"

"Happy april fools' day Sharon. You just failed miserably."

Saying this he gave her a small peck on her lip. He moved back , Sharon was in tears.

"You trust me so much?"

"More than myself."

Sharon hugged him tightly. Swayam hugged her back.

"I love you Swayam."

"I love you too sweetheart."

Swayam looked at Sharon , and gave a sad smile.

"I wish I could trust you that day Sharon. I wish I had gone with my intuition of you lying , you wouldn't have been in this state. And I promise you one thing Sharon , your culprit's going to pay a huge price. He is going to regret each and every day of his life."

He gave her a kiss on her forehead.

"Rohan , you have just messed with Swayam Shekhawat's girl. Get ready to face hell."
