|| CONFESSIONS ||
❤️i m in love with my best friend❤️
rey and taani have been the best of friends ever since they were young. But being just friends is not enough for taani, she wants for her and rey to be together as a couple. She decided to confess her love when they were in high school.
"rey, i know that you only think of me as a friend... Um, more like best friend, i mean." taani started, wringing her hands nervously as she stared down at the floor of their classroom.
He looked at her disbelievingly and sighed. A friend? You're kidding me.
"Rey?" is he mad? taani was having second thoughts about her confession, she was afraid to get rejected. Well, if she gets rejected it would be really awkward for them to be like they were before.
He moved forward and taani took a step back. "Do you think a best friend would kiss you on the lips when you are asleep?" Taani was trapped, her back was on the wall, and Rey's arms blocked her way out.
"k-kiss?" confused. Taani watched as rey took a deep breath and told her, "Do you think a best friend would think about making love to you at night, so much, that he wouldn't be able to sleep?"
"Rey, i-" Taani blushed. h-he what? Rey averted his gaze from her, afraid that she would be able to read everything from his eyes.
Taani giggled upon seeing Rey blush before he turned his head away from hers.
"come on let's go home." he removed his arms and grabbed his satchel and Taani's shoulder bag. it was a daily task that he's used to. Suddenly taani hugged him from behind. Rey's heart skipped a beat.
"i like u a lot, please go out with me."
he dropped everything and placed both of his hands on her, wrapping them more tightly around his waist. i thought u wouldn't ask. i would have confessed to you sooner or later. he threw his head back and hit hers.
"ow! is that a Yes?" taani asked
Rey chuckled and removed her arms from around him. he faced her, eyes smilling and lips curling into a wicked grin. "What do you think?" he asked as he lifted her chin and covered her lips with his.
four years later
they've been a couple for almost 4 years. taani declares her love for him every single day, unlike him. he just smiles and kisses her. and now, she's having doubts about if he really likes her.
Rey is really sweet, faithful, and very attentive when it comes to their relationship. but Taani wanted to hear sweet words from him. so one day when they were on their date at the cinema, she asked him with her little voice:
"Do i ever cross your mind?" her eyes were on the screen but her ears were itching to hear his answer. Rey grabbed her hand from the chair aand squeezed it tight, through the dark, he looked at her and answered without any hesitation
"NO!"
taani refused to believe his cruel answer. so she decided to ask him another question the following night when they were making out in his room. "D-Do you really like me?"
without any second thought , rey shook his head and replied "not really," as he plunged deep inside her.
she asked him another question the following mornng when they were at the university.
"Rey you know i want you so much. how about you? do you want me?" rey gave taani her shoulder bag as they stopped at her classroom.
"No. see you later." then he kissed her cheek . i won't give up. maybe he is just teasing me. she desperately thought.
upon reading a romantic novel , taani wanted to hear the words "i'll do anything for you, taani" from Rey. she went to his house and asked.
"would y-you do... anything for me?" her teeth were chattering from the cold. he answered " no. now come in n let me warm you up." he held out his hand for her and pulled her inside.
they were walking fro m bus stand to taani's house when she suddenly stopped walking.
"hey, Rey!"
rey stopped and was surprised to see taani was far away from him. " what is it?" he called back.
"would you cry if i left!?" she raised her voice so he could hear.
he stared at her , pain reflected in his eyes. he shook his head and mouthed the word " no!" for she wudn't be able to hear him anyway. taani stood still staring staring into space ; she was brushed off by the people around her. he ran through the crowd and grabbed her hand.
Rey glared at the man who pushed taani. "Taani, are you alright?" he asked as he turned his attention towards her.
Without looking at him, she asked her last question. "Rey, choose: Your life... or me?"
"What a silly question Taani. Of course it would be my life." He smiled.
"i've had enough." Taani said.
"What? I can't hear you, come on, let's go somewhere else."
"Don't touch me!" She smacked his hand away.
"You don't really like me Rey. A simple yes from you is all I wanted. Yet you couldn't give it to me. Why? Are you trying to force yourself because I'm your best friend? I'm your childhood friend?" I don't regret falling in love with you though.
"You're free now." She bitterly laughed and turned away from him.
Rey stood there not believing what he had heard. His feet were rooted to the ground. No... No... We're not going to break up... Are we?
"Taani! I won't allow this!" He tried to move and thankfully he was finally able to.
Taani ran while Rey chased after her, but it was not easy for him because of the thick crowd. Damn it!
"Taani! Listen to me! The reason why you never cross my mind..." He could hear some girls giggle around him. Hell! Let them hear it! "... Is because you're ALWAYS on my mind!" He called out to her. But Taani covered her ears.
"No! I don't want to hear it!"
"Damn it, Taani!" Rey bumped into an elderly woman. "Ma'am, I'm sorry." He bowed before her and lost sight of Taani when he lifted his head. Where is she?
Rey asked himself, but he continued. "The reason why I don't like you is because..." He covered his face with his hand and with a muffled groan he went on. "I LOVE you."
Rey was really, really shy with saying his feelings. He's afraid that Taani would be turned off if he gets mushy and all. So he decided to show it through his actions. He wrote a lot of poems for her. On his test papers, he would never forget to write her name. He calls it his charm. Taani was everything for him.
The crowd stopped what they were doing. They looked at the young guy on the side walk. He's good looking. They thought it was a shooting so they held their breath as he began to pour out his feelings.
"Taani! Where are you? Damn it! I don't want you because I NEED you." Rey heard someone whistle from the crowd. Hell, where is she? This is really embarrassing. Then he thought that he had already started, so why stop now?
"The reason why I'm not willing to do anything for you, is because... I'll do EVERYTHING for you."
"I wouldn't just cry if you left me..." His voice was softer now, "I would die." Yes, I would die.
Everything was futile if she was not there... If she was not listening.
taani finally stepped out from behind the hotdog stand, the crowd made way for her. Her cheeks were wet with tears.
When rey saw that they were looking from behind him he turned and locked his gray gaze on hers.
"i chose my life... because YOU ARE MY LIFE, Taani."
he held out his hand and smiled at her. "I'm in love with my best friend and... I can't see anything wrong with that."

Taarey confession was awesome I love it, especially the way Taani be asking Rey all those questions and all his answer are no lolHe really no how to freak a girl out lolBut it was so cute the way he expresses his feelings for his Taani in front of everyone...Beautiful OS
