She felt her head pounding loud as if someone is hammering on her head harshly, painfully, mercilessly.. "aah.." unwillingly a soft cry escaped from her mouth grabbing everyone's attention who were there in the room waiting anxiously for her consciousness.. "riddhi.." atul came quickly to her side while muski rushed to call dr. Mehta who was attending riddhima.. on d othr hand, anji rushed to bring some water for her while sid's clasp over her right palm tightened feeling her fingers moving after whole two hours..

"riddhi?? Chwthrt?? U here,me??" atul tried his best to control his voice from choking anymore nd patted her cheeks softly so that she again won't lose her senses..

Trying hard, finally riddhima opened her eyes with great difficulty... it took another minute to get her heavy eye lashes working nd her blurred vision clearer.. seeing atul's almost flowing eyes nd lined forehead she tried to remember wat must hve happened.. but her head was still too heavy to bear any further stress of thinking.. hissing in pain, she again closed her eyes tight only to mke her frnz worried like hell.. Dr. Mehta came nd analyzing her state, advised them to stay by her side as she is psychologically weak to tke any mental stress for now.. all nodded in agreement nd tried to divert her mind without giving her a single chance to think about the present scenario..

After some silly jokes cracked by sid nd muski, finally her lips curved into a faint smile making everyone relief to the core.. they all decided to keep riddhima in the room only until she becomes mentally fit to know further.. nd in between this time one of them will go nd stay beside bui nd dr. shashank as they are vulnerable too..

30minutes past.. still she was busy wth her darling frnz nd their rubbish banter wen suddenly she realized dat she is not in her room but on the hospital bed.. being confused wen she was about to ask atul about d matter, muski entered hurriedly being extremely panicked.. nd due to nervousness muski simply said aloud.. "champ yaar.. plz come wth me,na.. wohh armaan.." but before she could realize her mistake it was too late.. being horrified atul looked at riddhima's direction only to get her pale, blood drained face in return.. "sh*t" he couldn't hlp but swear under his breathe nd then gave muski a deadly glare who , herself, is extremely sorry for her big mouth nd looked down guiltily..

"armaan kaha hain,muski??" riddhima asked directly without any unnecessary questions nd at once detached the saline-needle from her vein.. "zzz" she winced in pain but nothing can hold her bck now.. struggling wth her numb limbs, she got up nd tried to walk alone but fumbled very nxt moment as still she is not in a balanced condition..

"riddhima.." sid rushed nd supported her at once while atul coming in front of her, tried to stop her from going out.. cupping her face tenderly, atul tried his luck.. "chwthrt.. u r not fine yet.. thodi der rookh ja.. fir main khud tujhey le jayunga armaan ke pass.." riddhima didn't cry or break down but replied in a straight tone.. "I'm fine atul.. lets go.." her tone had an undescribable authority.. sighing atul agreed nd soon riddhima was standing in front of the ICU wth her best frnd by her side.. for a nano second riddhima closed her eyes nd prayed quickly in heart so that she won't get to see him suffering.. but all her hope got shattered wen atul, opened the door for her..

There he is.. lying on the bed.. wth bandages around his head nd hand.. his right leg fractured.. blood pouch is being attached to his vein.. ECG machine is connected wth his heart.. oxygen mask is on.. in short, any one can say wat a brutal accident he has faced..

She felt her heart beat slowing down.. too down as if it'll stop at any moment.. her head again started getting heavy but no.. she cant break down agn.. she has to face it.. fight it.. conquer it.. she wont leave him to suffer alone.. bear all the pain all by himself.. he had suffered already a lot for her.. he doesn't deserve it.. he simply doesn't.. collecting herself, gathering all her strength, she took a step forward.. then another.. nd finally taking slow steady steps she stood juz beside his bed.. unknown to herself, her right hand got stretched forward nd nxt moment she found her own hand caressing his wounded forehead tenderly.. although how strong her will was but a lone tear escaped from her right eye nd got soaked by the bandage attached around his hand.. but nxt moment she couldn't hlp but took a turn nd engulfed atul tight wen she heard atul's concerned voice juz behind her ear assuring.. "wohh thik hain riddhi.. he's a fighter.. ussey kuch nhi hoga.." nd dat was it.. riddhima hugged her best frnd tightest nd started crying hysterically.. "humarey sath hi aisa kyun ho raha hain atul?? Kya galti hain humari?? Kyun barbar kuch aisa ho raha hain ke chah kar bhi hum sehh nahi paa rahe hain.." atul dint say anyting.. juz kpt on hugging nd caressing her head like her elder brother.. he dint knw wat can soothe this poor soul now.. is there any word which can lessen her pain? He wondered nd decided to stay silent.. as it's the support dat she needs not d words..

After crying her heart out, she detangled herself nd asked atul about her di.. "wohh.. wohh.. riddhi wohh di.." riddhima smiled sarcastically nd said.. "I'm prepared for d worst, atul.. u cn say anything.. tell me .. is she..." she couldn't hlp but left d sentence incomplete.. wat will she say?? How will she say wat she is fearing most?? It's about her di aftr all.. no matter how brave she tries to be but still the thought of losing her di forever makes her heart stop beating..

This time anji came towards them nd said. "come wth me ridzy.." she extended her hand lovingly nd took her to another ICU where her di was lying.. riddhima sighed in relief wen she found her di is still breathing nd a smile of relief came across her lips in between all these torture..

"thank god.. di is safe.." she couldn't hlp but said aloud smiling thankfully.. but in d vry nxt momnt her smile got wiped off wen anji extended neha di's medical report to her. She hesitantly took it only to make it fall on the ground wth loud thud nxt minute.. "no.. dats cant be possible.." she said horrified .. trying hard to digest the news.. without any delay, she rushed towards her di and took her right hand in hers nd felt all her left out hope crashing down wen neha's hand slipped from hers lyk a dead person..

"yehi sach hain ridzy.. neha di has slipped into coma.." anji's wrds pierced both her heart nd brain badly.. nd she quickly closed her eyes as tight as possible..

Feeling riddhima spot rooted fr sumtym, anji finally shook her only to see her eyes turned into blood-red yet dry.. "ridzy??" anji caressed her cheek as if she is her lill sister but this time riddhima didn't spill any tear.. she juz walked away from the room leaving a startled nd worried anji behind.. atul who was waiting outside the ICU, found riddhima coming out of the room walking lifelessly nd at once he tried to hug her but she backed off.. "chwthrt??" he asked dejectedly.. " I want to stay alone for sumtym, atul.. plz.." saying this she started going towards the terrace leaving all extremely worried for her..
