CHAPTER 5

RECAP: REY WAS SUFFERING WITH FEVER, TAANI AVOIDING REY AND TAREY MOMENT

Soon, both had their lunch and by that evening, rey was fit and fine like normal but under medication of both doc's and his wife's love!

He was sleeping in taani's lap that evening in the balcony and his phone started buzzing.

R: hello!

Sw: hey rey! How are you bro?

R: I am fine dude! (And gave a small smile to taani)

Sw: are you sure!

R: yup! 100%!

Sw: great then, I have something for you both!

R: what?

Sw: well, there is a special invitation for Mr. and Mrs. Singhania for The Valentine Eve tomorrow as the company who is hiring you as their gaming programmer is privileged to meet you on such an auspicious event. So, you both are cordially invited.

R: (getting up from her lap) what? Valentine eve? We would love to attend bro!

Sw: then me and Sharon will be there by sharp 7.00 tomorrow and we will leave by 8.00 PM. We can spend some time!

R: sure bro!

Taani snatches the phone meanwhile

T: bhai! How can you do this?

Sw: what did I do?

T: you know that rey is still recovering, if he goes out and eats outside food, the fever will aggravate again!

Sw: ahahahah! Taani, its okay! Rey is not a kid! He will be fine!

T: no!

Sw: taani, come on! It's important to be there for his job!

Then taani thinks for a while and

T: okay, but only for few hours!

Sw: chill my baby sis! When you are with rey, what can happen to him?

Taani looks into rey's eyes and rey was looking at her with lot of hope

T: ok bhai, we are coming!

Rey's face lightened up and gave out his sexy smirk. And taani gave the phone to rey,

R: so bro, we will be ready by 7 tomorrow!

Sw: rey! I know ou wont, and I bet you won't! So we will come and help you!

R: yup!

Sw: bye then, good night!

R: bbyeee!

Rey cut the call and noticed taani, she was lost in her thoughts and a mild breeze blew through their balcony which made her look beautiful with her hair flying over her face. Rey bent towards her and removed the hair locks from her face and both shared an intense eye lock.

Taani broke the eye lock and

T: rey, let's go inside, you may catch a cold!

And both went in, soon taani was busy in making supper and rey was busy in his laptop regarding his new company and the details of the new game. Soon everything was falling in place and rey got a confidence that he can prove himself this time. He closed his laptop and was entering the kitchen to drink some water.

He saw that taani was kneading the dough and her pallu was tucked into her waist. The dark green sari and her whitish complexion complemented beautifully. Rey shook his head but his heart was urging to look at her continuously.

Rey took steps towards her till she could feel his breathy on her neck. To her shock she turned around and found rey inches far from her face.

T: you___ you need something? (Stammering)

R: ughhh... I came to drink some water.

And made his way to the fridge,

T: rey! no! no cold water for few days!

He then went to the water purifier and filled a glass.

He came towards her sipping water from that glass and leaned to the kitchen slab.

He saw that she was struggling to knead the dough still she was putting her whole strength.

A chuckle escaped his throat and taani gave him a confused look.

He took that dough mould from her hand and

R: you go and prepare the gravy; meanwhile I will knead the dough!

T: you will knead?

R: you mean I can't?

T: no! I dint mean it! Here you take!

They made and ate their dinner and were checking their wardrobes for what they had to wear the next evening!

But both are disappointed, rey got an idea and thought he would wear a cream colored suit and will mix and match with a pant he has.

He saw taani, she was confused as she had all sarees, and maybe she was nervous as first time she was attending such a party!

R: taani, let's sleep. We can decide tomorrow also!

T: okay!

They both were under their blanket soon and taani's eyes were heavy! Rey adored her face but he was not feeling sleepy. He badly wants to hug her from the moment he saw her in the kitchen.

Meanwhile,

T: mmm... rey! Why are you tickling my hand?

R: what?

Taani felt something unusual and woke up looking at her hand and yelled out!

T: aaahhh! Lizard!

She hugged rey tightly clutching his T in her fists, rey hugged her around her waist protectively and one hand was into her hair locks trying to calm her down.

She was shivering with fear and slowly she fell asleep on his chest. Rey was about to lay her on the bed but her grip was dead tight.

He smiled at her innocent face and kissed her forehead, he couldn't stop himself from doing so. And now he dozed off peacefully!

Next morning,

Her face was completely sank in his muscular chest and her hands around his neck as if she will lose him the next second, rey's hands were around her petite waist and their bodies were plastered to each other.

Taani started squirming feeling herself struck somewhere; she opened her eyes and gasped in shock!

She pulled out waking him also, both were feeling dead embarrassed and she rushed into the washroom.

Rey became red all at once and brushed his hair. But he felt he was out of a heavenly place.

That evening

Swaron were at their place and they were helping them to get ready, Sharon was damn sure that taani wouldn't have a perfect dress to wear so she brought an elegant gown for her and rey was ready with swayam in the hall and taani got ready in that gown but was feeling little awkward. As it has only one sleeve and she is wearing something like this for the first time.

Sharon brought taani downstairs and rey was gaping at her shamelessly, swaron coughed and brought them back to this world. They got into the car and all were about to go in swayam's car but rey said he and taani will come in their car to the party surprising swaron as well as taani.

Sw: drive safe rey! Concentrate on the road!

Taani blushed and both sped off to the venue!

It was getting difficult for rey to concentrate on the road as swayam said, rey's eyes were on taani and taani's blush was on her face looking out of the window.

They reached the venue and rey opened his arm asking taani to pair up her arm with his. They both lead towards the entrance and showed the invitation which swayam gave them.

As soon as they entered they were searching for swayam and Sharon. But they did not notice that all were checking out the new and beautiful couple out there!

Swaron took Taarey to the managing director and the ladies excused themselves from there. They went to the drinks counter and started some gossips meanwhile few friends of Sharon joined them and Sharon introduced taani to all of them.

As all were busy in talking taani turned to the direction where rey was talking to the head of the company and soon they got into an eye lock. And it was broke by the host out there.

H: guys and girls! Isn't the evening boring?

So let's have a spot light dance!

And obviously the spotlight fell on taani and rey,

H: so, the newest and the youngest couple are selected to dance for a while now and others also can join!

Meanwhile taarey were shocked enough! Swayam pushed rey towards taani and asked her for dance, taani blushed and put her palm in his and soon a beautiful instrumental music started

Taani put her hand on his shoulder and rey's one hand was on her waist, they both were swaying under that spot light and soon a loud applause was heard then they came to know that music ended. They were so lost that they did not make out what is going on around them.

They had their dinner and left the place, while leaving; a photographer handed over an envelope to rey and taani and said them "thank you for coming sir! We are privileged to have you here today!"

They both smiled and left.
